Idk, Sun/Venus and Merc/Merc is really really great to have. The uncomfortableness probably comes from the Sun/Saturn. IP: Logged |

uncomfortable how?Like you really like being in the company of the other person? As stated, those aspects are great for socializing, and communication. Unless, you consider such activities a threat to something. If you mean obsession, then it's not indicated by those aspects. IP: Logged |

Mmmhmmm, I do NOT like too many tight connections. It annoys me on some level. I am usually not attracted to someone romantically who makes to many conjunctions to me. I have noticed this and was very surprised. I thought it was supposed to be good. I actually find squares easier to deal with -- this goes for transits too. I also dislike people putting planets in my 7th house. They feel like an enemy to me -- scorpio does this to me. Maybe you're like me.

The 7th house is the house of confrontations & "Open" hostilities.IP: Logged |

I know!!! That's how it feels for me. I have NO idea why people think this is a good house for synastry. I think 5th is better for love.Personally, I love when people put planets in my 8th, 11th, 9th, and 1st houses. Ya know what i just realized...Those houses all reprsent my top three planets (signs on cusp of them) according to pullen, except for 9th, which is ruled by saturn which is conjunct my AC, which makes it very important in my chart. How cool! I think I'll start a thread on this and see if anyone else has this, so I don't hijack. IP: Logged |

Amowls: You're right there is an issus, but it is more our moon opposition. The Sun Saturn feels more like a learning and guiding aspect to this relationship. Is there an aspect you can think of that has made you uncomfortable? Diana: Yes, that's what I mean! I find it a little off putting. I have been trying to break it off with this guy and have been unable to due to all of these tight aspects enmeshing us. I like a little distance as well.
Nine: Not obsession, just too much connectedness. I really can't explain it better than Diana did. It just didn't feel right after awhile, but the connection was so strong. I just made a clean break of it tonight and hoping it stays broken. (I wish Mercury wasn't just about to retrograde - have had too many boomerangs from that)
Nine: About the 7th house, we both do not carry any planets in the 7th. His is ruled by pisces and mine by capricorn. Which probably explains our issues with LTR. I think we both lack a little warmth in that area and with Capricorn, I might express it in a controlling manner. IP: Logged |

Sun square Mars double whammy really makes you hate the person sometimes. THAT'S uncomfortable for me.I don't mind tight orbs. I feel like they are closer to me that way. IP: Logged |

Yes, Mars. I find it is one of those planets that can be very good or very bad for a relationship, but rarely neutral.I think Sun/Mars Opposition can be a tough emotional one. But Sun/Mars Sextile can make for a warm relationship. IP: Logged |

Chances are I'm just being stubborn, but... You know the progressed synastry usually show the active connections ( the relationship right now), as opposed to natal synastry. Too much connectedness indicates that the active aspects might be between feminine planets (Venus-Moon & Venus-Venus, or Moon-Moon), and not the dynamic Male-Female planetary connections (Sun-Moon, Sun-Venus, Mars-Moon, Mars-Venus). Nine: I will try to look at my progressed chart, but I am not sure I can put together a synastry chart w/ progressions. Seems like too much data. But, thank you!Lara: My kinda people IP: Logged |

Hi running_bull,". . . almost to the point it feels uncomfortable and too difficult to deal with. " If you are working through a Synastry chart, I would suggest looking for sqrs. and opp. aspects dealing with M, MY, MR and or, your Asc..
The aspects you mentioned above and how you feel do not jive in Synastry.

Hi Slowpoke!I'll look for those aspects, however, I think it is the similitude and similar approaches that make me uncomfortable. I need some difference, breathing room, and two of my significant relationships did not give me that due to those tight conjunction feeling too close to home. Like Diana said, give me a square, hehe. The Pisces/Pluto energy in my chart just wants to completely merge, so these cheese grater conjunctions are perfect for me IP: Logged |
