Hi guys,I've very recently teamed up with a Producer for a potentially important project. What kind of potential issues do you guys see that I should be worried about? (thanks for your comments). I've only worked with him very briefly once before, but not long enough to get a good feel for his strengths. I am a bit worried that our work styles may not mesh well. He prefers to take a cut-throat, aggressive approach & really isnt that nice to people in general. I am definitely more diplomatic. There's pros and cons to his style...he will get the job done for sure, but if there's major power struggles btwn the Dir & Producer, that's just counter-productive for both of us. We have an important pitch coming up with a panel, & right now I'm not sure if I should let him,(or maybe I just dont trust him to do it), or if I should just do it myself.   IP: Logged |

His Sun trine Mars is giving the drive to aggressively get things done but your strong 5 Planet Libra Stellium is far better for harmonious communication to decision makers and to avoid conflict. He has Pluto opposed Mercury, that is bothersome and creates excessive disrespect in communication.
Saturn opp Moon is not cool at all.He will certainly help in making an aggressive PPT or Pitching Content but it would be wise if you are the face and voice of the pitch. I dont think anyone can dislike that powerful Libra Stellium  It would also help to look into the composite. What is the date of the pitch?

Thanks IQ,I added our composite. The first one is on Jan 15, but the important one will be on Jan30, with entirely different people. As for pitching goes, we really only have 5min to knock it out of the ballpark, so first impressions are important. He's charismatic, with a solid, "capable-looking," image. My image often works against me in the work arena actually. People always assume I'm some bimbo actress, until they actually see my work...so I dont think I would be the best choice honestly. Your selling how fantastic your project is but also how competent the creators are to make it happen.
I think my real question here is, should I even commit to working with him? He's so full of self confidence to the point of cocky...I find it crude. Also the fact I feel a potential power struggle coming on (Mars cj Pluto in our comp). IP: Logged |

You should give it a shot, your composite has the rare Jupiter exact sextile Pluto and Pluto conj Mars combination. Luck will overshadow the power struggle, besides a strong Libran can always negotiate peace in any power struggle.
Jupiter conj Neptune is another benefic for the film industry, plus composite Venus is in Leo.The Sabians of Mars and Pluto are very encouraging. I will email you later with anything crucial on the transits. Sometimes it is the mix of two totally different characters that creates magic. ------------------
