i saw an old thread that had listed some common astrological sign pairings. i thought i'd share my insight on a few i've seen...these are generalizations. always exceptions when considering other natal and synastry aspects outside of sun sign.
pisces/gemini
generally the man is pisces and gemini is the woman. right now i know 3 married couples (including my parents 35 years) and other dating couples with this matchup...
i'd say that both are extremely sensitive signs. but gemini gives pisces a reason to get out of his head. although pisces kind of feeds geminis mental self absorption. some how this square works time and again although i'm sure that there are some more harmonious aspects that i am just unaware of.
gemini/leo
i know a few couples with this match. seems as if the leo will take the relationship more seriously and the gemini thinks its all fun. i really do find geminis to be self absorbed aka annoying lol.
taurus/leo
how this works, i have no clue. this seems doomed from day one as these are two stubborn people who can be self righteous at time. but leo's can be infinitely giving it just seems to come with its price, the receiver has to pay of course. both love nice things so i guess they bond over they...interesting, challenging match up to say the least
aquarius/aries
good friends at the start. lots of spark and passion and the social butterflies of the century. aries likes to keep things light and fun and can sometimes avoid the communication that the air sign needs.
aries/pisces
i know a lot of these too. it seems kind of codependent in that pisces can be the brooding type. although their common ground could be that aries sees everything as an extension of themself and pisces sees everything as one and trying to find their place in that oneness. they have a lot teach/learn from each other.
cancer/virgo
these tend to be depressing relationships with a lot of back and forth. both live in their own heads/hearts. good communication can be challenging at times. virgo will definitely romance cancer and gift giving will be a big theme. but getting cancer out of their shell tends to be challenging for the insecure virgo.
