Hi gang.

Without going into the details of my past I would like to pose this question in regards to Mars in a father/Son synastry.

Mars being in Scorpio is very at home there correct? What I want to know ultimately is what, in the chart can play out as domination of the younger male instead of natural father authority? Anyone else with similar experience or have the same placements with an authority figure?

I will post the chart as I know it makes it a lot easier if you have a picture to look at.

Thanks

EDIT

I just noticed that they both have a 12th house Mars placement. What significance does this have on the relationship?

In one's chart, the Sun or Saturn represents the father figure (as well as the 4th or 10th house [people debate as to whether its the father or the mother]).

In the case of your synastry, the kid's Saturn is conjunct the adult's Moon which can mean that the kid acts like an authority figure towards the adult.

Thanks for that amowls.

In this particular instance the father is emotionally immature & the child is very well integrated emotionally.

So interpretations can only go so far I guess.

ROFL

Baiting me with a Jude pic in a topic about father issues.
Hmm, let`s think about his behaviour in the past, maybe he has some issues with male authority figures himself?

Anyway, I am probably not really good in answering that question, as none of the current theories about father / mother in astrology really convince me.

For domination-issues I would look to conjunction, square or opposition of the father`s Sun, Mars, Saturn, Uranus, Pluto to the son`s Sun, Moon, ASC or Mars.

Is there something like this?

EDIT:
BTW Jude has a Scorpio Mars in 12th house, and his Saturn is on 15 Gemini.
His Sun is on 7 Capricorn.

Here I've been waiting for you all day DD & you show up within 5 minutes of me posting the bait.

Shame on you

Now as far as my question goes I am trying to figure out what is astro related & what has been learned behaviour in the fathers dysfunctional family unit. Parent have a lot to do with the end product I believe.
