Hi Cyan -There is a lot of tension in the chart (T-square) but that isn't necessarily a bad thing - I mean there was always going to be tension in this situation.. so it's to be expected that - this would be reflected in the horary chart.
Some astrologers don't interpret horaries when the ascendant is in the very early degrees of the sign or in the very late degrees. The reason is that "early" means - the matter is not yet settled.. Thus, it's too *early* to ask your question. "Late" means the matter has already been settled and it is too late to ask the question.
The Asc is very early in Scorpio.. but I'll interpret this anyway (just keep in mind that it might not be completely relevant "yet" - maybe you'll have to ask again later on)
The Asc is ruled by Mars (they always take into account the personal-planet rulers). Mars symbolises YOU (the person asking the question). Your child would be symbolized by the planet ruling the 5th house.. The 5th house cusp is Pisces (traditional ruler Jupiter).. so your daughter is represented by Jupiter.
The aspect between Mars and Jupiter is an opposition. This is interesting considering that she is not with YOU.. She was taken away.. Mars is in Leo in the 10th which is a strong placement of authority. In a sense you are in "authority figure".. Technically, being the mother - that alone - should give you "authority" in court. However Mars is retrograde so maybe you feel a bit taken aback and it is difficult for you to move forward and overcome this situation. You feel *stagnant*.. Things are not moving as quickly as you would like them to.
Since your daughter is symbolized by Jupiter in Aquarius - the outcome should be lucky for her... Jupiter is a very positive planet. Ultimately things should work in her favour. I'm curious whether this Aquarius placement - 25 degrees.. is conjunct something in your partner's chart (you mentioned he was applying for custody) & I remember him being an Aqua Sun, but don't know the degree. It's also interesting that Jupiter is in the 4th house of home. If this is, indeed, conjunct his Sun or something significant in his chart - it could be a very good sign.
I don't particularly like the conjunction between Jupiter and Neptune at 24 Aquarius - however I believe the basic LUCKY nature of Jupiter will pull through on this.
Neptune symbolizes confusion.. This also makes sense, because there was a lot of confusion in your situation and, as I understood, this was the reason she was taken away.. On the bright side Jupiter is *separating* from Neptune.. at 25 deg.. and moving away.. so technically she is "moving away" from the confusion.
You are also moving away from this - since Mars is retrograde.. But you are moving in the opposite direction to her. I am not very concerned about this.. for the following reason - Jupiter is moving towards a conjunction with Uranus, in Pisces. It may take some time to resolve this situation - but THAT tells me that your SO will be given custody.. Uranus may be connected to him since he is an Aquarius Sun.
The Moon is always important and the moon is not very well placed here - it squares both Yourself AND the child.. Usually the moon is taken to be a second representative of the querent. However the way this looks to me is as though - you are on one side, your child is on the other side.. and the Moon is judging (Do you have a female judge by any chance? If you know..)
In a sense the aspect is OK.. because the "judge" can see both sides clearly and they do not like *either* side.. so we couldn't call them "biased".. On the bright side the Moon is well-placed in Taurus and in the 7th house.. Therefore (if this is IN FACT a symbol of the judge) this person should be family-oriented and ultimately prefer giving custody to a family member. They don't "like" you personally, at all (square with Mars).. However, interestingly, this Moon IS sextile Uranus in Pisces.. which is the planet that Jupiter is moving towards (and possibly a significant of your SO..)
Basically my conclusion is.. that this is in some way connected to your partner (I'd feel even more confident if something in his chart DID conjunct Jupiter in the horary).. I don't think that you are in a good position to get custody yourself, but I think there are some interesting coincidences which would mean that he DOES have a good chance.
I am not a professional at interpreting this.. but I hope this helps - and I really hope you do get her back as soon as possible!
