Weekly Weather December 28, 2009

A complicated emotional and very energetic, action oriented week is ahead of us. The actions want to go BACKWARDS rather that forwards. We want to look back at our past. We will all want to crawl back into some sort of giant cosmic womb. However, we don’t fit any more into that old womb of ours! The womb is too small. It doesn’t work for us the way it used to. We can’t go back. We aren’t 100% sure we want to go forward either. But we know we can’t go back.

The eclipses are coming! The eclipses are coming! The eclipses are coming in VERY emotional signs and bringing up profound emotional releases as we seek to change the structures we’ve built in our life. Mars is retrograde in Leo screwing up our ability to take direct action yet making us VERY conscious of what we DO want even as we can‘t approach it or want to run away from it, screaming for our cosmic mother! Mercury is retrograde in Capricorn screwing up our ability to communicate clearly and concisely so the few words we actually WANT to say are completely misinterpreted.

Venus is CRANKY and depressed in Capricorn as she joins with Pluto and squares Saturn so we aren’t feeling the love, desired, pretty, wanted or even particularly valued. What we want seems SO out of reach right now. There is a Fist of God or Hammer of Thor forming to challenge relationships and partnerships so we will want to run away rather than face the situations and do what needs to be done. We need to open the triangles up and speak truth to power and be honest in our relationships, damn the costs or the outcome. However, we really want our cosmic mother to come and cuddle us.

When men are dying in the battle field, they call out for their mother with their last breaths. When my friend Jean has a bad day, she shouts at the top of her lungs “I WANT MY MOMMA!” Now Jean is 78 years old, a tough Scorpio with four grown daughters and 16 grand kids. She‘s the proud matriarch of an extended clan. It isn’t even Jean’s actual momma that she calls for. Momma’s been gone a long, long time. It isn’t necessarily the momma you had growing up. It is the concept of the GREAT MOMMA ~ the nurturing Momma type person who will fight for you and take care of you so you don’t have to do it your self any more.

The story from last summer, the July eclipses, is back up and dancing around in your life. We see the results of the actions taken then in the story before you now. The story that started in July has its wrap up and EMOTIONAL conclusion this week or next. A new story around emotions based in our family, security, structure and the important work part or Saturn part of our lives starts and bring previously hidden or avoided emotions to the surface as the eclipses shift the nature of our consciousness and light up a section of our life with a pulsing strobe light.

According to Bernadette Brady, in her book, The Eagle and the Lark, the eclipse Saros cycle is 12 North. “Opportunities to accept greater responsibilities can come suddenly into the person’s life. These new commitments will most likely come as a result of another individual being unable to carry on. Although the events which herald these opportunities may be difficult, the outcomes in terms of harmony or self-esteem are good.” The companion eclipse from the summer which is wrapping up now was “This family of eclipses is concerned with the needs to make sudden reforms. Old ideas or methods will fail and new systems are required to deal with the events brought by the eclipse. As a consequence, the person will need to think of new ways of handling the issues. Any blocks could be violently or tragically removed.”

The eclipses are part of a larger cycle and echo back in time to 1992, 1973, 1955 and 1937, bringing up stories from those earlier times back to mind. Eclipses also make situations that have been festering come to a boil and burst open or pop. Remember you DON’T have to take action but you WILL want to take action.

Give yourself time to consider what you actually WANT to do or have before you speak. If someone in your life wants to “bail out” or “back out” or “run away” or “retreat”, encourage them to take the time and do let them go. Ask them to check back in with you at the end of May/beginning of June. Or ask if you can check back in with them at the end of May/ beginning of June. With both Mercury and Mars retrograde, it is a good idea to POSTPONE having to take forward moving actions until those planets go direct, January 15, 2010 and March 10, 2010 respectively. Mars clears his shadow in early June and is completely clear on the changes he wants to make then. Mercury gets clear on the vision by the middle of next month. All to the good. You have to be clear on where you are going to actually get there!

Of course, that statement makes sense if you know where you want to go! Right now, until mid-March, you may not even know WHERE you want to go. Totally fine and completely in harmony with the universe. The universe is saying “Go back! Go back!” as Mars is retrograde. The going forward energy is going backwards….

Mars retrograde is particularly difficult for the men or anima parts of us or our ability to go for what we want. Our mojo is no go! We don’t wanna. We want our momma! But, we are where we are because of the choices we made ~ good, bad or indifferent, conscious or unconscious. We know better now but we did manage to get ourselves into a bit of a sticky wicket with some of them. Again, patience. It will unravel or did unravel as it is supposed to. It is a cosmic time out with Mars retrograde. So it is a great time to pick up old tasks and work on them as well as contact old contacts to move yourself forward. Go back to your past to proceed to your future. Back to the future so to speak.

Venus is very picked on this week. She’s in Capricorn so she’s responsible and ambitious. She wants what she wants and it is probably of high quality or pretty expensive. She’s joining with Pluto so she’s going to have to figure out whether she can afford what HIS price is. And, Pluto’s price can be high. Open up those triangles and expose the cost to light. Don’t be afraid to ask for what you or Venus want. Venus is fighting with, squaring Saturn so she’s back to mid-October 2009, around the 13th, and looking at what she agree to do back then. Now she’s trying to figure out HOW to do it. And she’s trying to figure out if she actually WANTS to do it. (hint ~ she probably doesn‘t want the deal she made back then.) She might not want to do it ~ or at least not in the same WAY that she wanted to do it back then. (hint ~ postpone or delay until May if you can! Renegotiate if you can!) Mars entered his shadow right around the time Venus committed to the new project. But truth be told, she’s not so sure she’s up for the project any more. Or that she wants to be stuck doing all the work on it all by herself.

Focus on the concept of the VISION. When Mercury is retrograde, we are asked to look at our VISION or our IDEA of what we think we want. We are asked to revise or redo that idea or dream. It is an INTERNAL process. Once Mercury goes direct on the NEXT eclipse, January 15th, 2010, we’ll be ready and raring to go with the revision.

The Fist of God or Hammer of Thor is one difficult aspect. It is forming with Mars retrograde as the handle as Mars aspects Pluto and Juno by sesquiquadrate. Juno and Pluto are square and Saturn opposes Juno. As partnerships, marriages or relationships break up or break apart, Mars wants to look back at the past and see just exactly what was REALLY going on. Mars is in Leo and quite curious actually. Mars has been thinking about things as his retrograde journey brought stuff to light. Give Mars and yourself permission to do a bit of diggin’ around to see what ACTUALLY went on. Ask a couple of questions. Invoke the triangle strategically to get the information you want. While part of you doesn’t want to know, there is a very curious part of you that DOES want to know. Find out exactly how much or who said what or what was done or not done. Don’t act on the information. It will inform your choices down the road.

And, IF you are asked for additional information about how much or who said what or what was done or not done, make sure to provide the information to the best of your ability. Don’t withhold it. Give it over. The Mars retrograde has a nasty tail that acts as a stinger on the information withheld. Don’t fool yourself that you can get away with it. The cosmos wants the information to come out. And it will come out! And, as my mother used to say, it is better if I hear it from you than from one of the neighbors!

There also is a funky envy energy flying around with this Mars retrograde. They want what you have. You want what they have. Own the envy. Claim the envy as yours. Name the envy. Envy is a difficult energy to own but we need to claim it to stop it from seeping out and causing all kinds of problems for us. And, if you are feeling the envy directed AT YOU, name it, identify it, blast it with gratitude and good. Over power the envy with light. Don’t diminish your life or light because you are being envied. Naming and claiming envy takes away the power. Lighting envy up makes it shrivel or at least causes it to crawl away.

Monday is a rocking and rolling day. Moon in Taurus is void from 12:54 pm all afternoon until 8:13 pm EST. The Moon’s closing aspect is a square to Jupiter suggesting you can accomplish quite a bit if you push the energy AND that things begun or done under the moon have an abundant, expansive, expensive quality to them. Venus begins her difficult time with Pluto and Saturn as Pluto also squares Juno ~ the relationship challenge today is to ask for what you want recognizing you may not get it but that you do need to ask for it. The Hammer of Thor or Fist of God is banging away. The Hammer today includes Venus with Pluto both responding to Mars’ difficult energy. The relationship is undergoing major, major changes. Like molten steel, respond to the hammer knowing that you are being shaped into a new form that will support your future and make you who you are to become. Mercury is in the nodes, pushing you forward, even though he is retrograde. The news today is part two of the journey ~ part three is at the end of January. Juno and Mercury are very clever in their approach to each other. Clear out your space and your life of negative, difficult or demanding energy. Great day for releases of emotional energy too.

Tuesday Moon in Gemini has few aspects and a lovely closing trine to Jupiter. Again a lovely day to push things out the door that you want, to achieve good outcomes. Remember the eclipse is about releasing the old to let in the new, which will be better for you down the road apiece. Right now it might be hard to see HOW this could be better. But it will be clearer once all the smoke, disturbances and dust storms from the Mercury and Mars retrogrades settles down. Sun has a semi-square to Chiron suggesting there are wounding words or information that comes to light. Remember Moon in Gemini is ruled by retrograde Mercury in Capricorn. Double, no triple check all information particularly around business matters. Jupiter joins with Neptune by declination to push the energy forward a bit and help you follow your dream. The energy can be a bit depressing.

Wednesday Moon in Gemini is void from 3:29 pm to 9:45 pm so take the afternoon off and relax with the Moon on vacation. Mars perfects the sesquiquadrate with Juno to say “Hey, how do you want to adjust this partnership?” Juno was the jealous wife. Envy can be a big issue today. When it surfaces, make sure to NAME it and recognize it! Juno used to pursue Zeus’ conquests rather than confronting Zeus and holding him accountable for his bad behavior. Where are you NOT holding the proper person who behaved badly accountable for their bad behavior? Own it. Own the envy. Own the fear of retaliation. Are you the envier or the envied? Are you a bit of both? Hold the proper situation or person accountable. It IS a dance for two you know. You got to where you are now because of what you BOTH did. Juno by not confronting Zeus and Zeus by ignoring Juno’s jealous feeling and not confronting them. Venus has a bit of a break and wants to beautify you or your surroundings. Sun semi-square to Neptune makes it easy to deny how your actions contributed to the situation. Again, back to the envy. Uranus semi-sextile to Chiron suggests that by changing your behavior a teeny tiny bit you can have a major difference in the outcome. Often we pull in people that reflect or expose our own wounds. They mirror the part of our chart that we don’t like to own. We think they are yet another example of how our life sucks and endlessly repeats itself. But we contribute to that situation, that endless repetition, by our own refusal to confront and face our own deepest fears. Well the universe is in the mood to show you your greatest fear this week and over the next few weeks as the eclipses bring that energy to light. Don’t be afraid to look at it.

Thursday Happy New Year! The eclipse is here! The eclipse is here! Moon in Cancer is full and falls across the Nodes of Destiny as Sun in Capricorn pulls you toward a new direction. Turning point time. Companion to the July/August energy! Closure of the story of the eclipses that exploded in your life back then! Consciousness! A new beginning of a story that will close in June/July of 2010 with the closing eclipse energy. Read the Full Moon report on this site for more information on how to work with the energy. Moon in Cancer has a lovely closing trine to Uranus suggesting an expansion, exciting and quite creative conclusion to the events begun under the Cancer Moon. Give yourself other choices today and tonight. Saturn is sextile Ceres suggesting that supportive changes to diet and how you nurture your self are great resolutions. Venus has a supportive aspect to the patterns and strategies that help you run your life so follow up on those too. Saturn does end a partnership or relationship to day with his opposition to Juno. Put a ring on it ~ the end of 2009, a difficult year for so many people is closing today! YEAH! The transitions may not all be complete but we are well on our way towards getting our life into the condition we’d like for it to be in. Mercury needs to make an adjustment in how it thinks things will be going. They always change! Mercury and Mars and their conversation today makes you realize the problem was larger and longer than you thought.

Friday is a New Year! Moon in Cancer is void most of the day ~ between 10:43 am and 9:41 pm EST. Because so many planets are at the beginning degrees of signs, Saturn, Pluto, Venus, and soon both Jupiter and Uranus, we are going to have FREQUENT and LONG void moons most of the year. Get used to them and set up mindless busy making tasks to occupy your self during them. Venus is semi-square to Chiron so the financial, love or emotional wound is great and it stings quite a bit. Look for envy today as the Sun has a harsh aspect with Jupiter making us all a bit grandiose or crazy ~ why can‘t you have what they have? Why can‘t they see how hard you work for what you have? My dear friend Llorraine and I go out for tea or a similar adventure and I depart with a reading list. During our Christmas Tea, we talked a great deal about Envy and the devastating effect it has on the soul. She suggested I read Ann Ulanov’s book Cinderella and Her Sisters: The Envied and the Envying. Mars in Leo is a proud, fierce, loyal and love based Mars that roars “I am what I am! I am great! I am good! I am LOVE!” Mars in Leo going RETROGRADE is Envy. “I am not! I am little, poor, sad, and not great! I am bad! I ENVY! You have what I want! I need to destroy you to get what you have! Or I’ll envy you right out of your goodness.” Don’t agree to it. Shine a light on the envy. Name it. Own it. Claim it. Recognize it. Take away envy’s power by acknowledging it.

Saturn’s day Venus has a semi-square to Neptune ~ again she’s not feeling great but at least she is clear on what is going on. The fog is lifted. Sun has an aspect of brilliance to Mars ~ once you SEE the envy you understand the life limiting energy it forces on you. You know what to do. You feel the energy wock into your body and say “Wow, that felt like a shot of envy that just hit me!?!” You pull it out like a miss-shot arrow. You understand the life denying force that envy carries with it. See it. Name it. If you are feeling envious, own your envy too. My friend Laurie tells a story on herself as a young actress about how she was jealous and envious of another actor’s beauty, grace, gifts and roles. The other woman was incredibly gracious, kind and generous which made Laurie feel EVEN WORSE about her envy. And Laurie owned it. Standing in the light of envy and still shining with all your might is the goal. As my friend Llorraine said during our Christmas Tea, “Who are you to ignore or diminish your gifts and insult the Divine Spirit that gave you those gifts? Why would you NOT shine? You would rather dim your light because it makes another envious? And you would spit in the face of Divine Spirit?” Llorraine DOES have a way with words!!?! I encourage you NOT to spit in Spirit‘s, Divine‘s, God’s or Goddess’ face! Own those gifts of yours. Own that envy of yours. Both are ways to find what your true path is.

Sunday Mars perfects the Fist of Thor with Pluto’s part of the hammer as Venus has a great, creative and brilliant idea. Remember the adjusting energy of the changed relationships WANTS to look, needs to look, has an insatiable desire to look. LOOK! A void moon from 4:55 pm to 9:52 pm allows for a quiet and peaceful afternoon with people you love. Vesta stations and goes retrograde in Virgo as all the holiday lights come down, homes across the land go back to winter and take down their sparkle as January begins in earnest. Moon’s opposition to Jupiter suggests the plan to release or let go that is part of your New Year’s Resolution is going to go very, very well!

It's the energy coming with the eclipses. I think we all need to "batten down the hatches". Every time an eclipse comes through, it takes someone away from me, or I lose something.

I'm concerned about the January 15th eclipse. It's the same Saros series as the January 1990 eclipse. I read an article that asked you to look back at what happened in your life 19 years ago. Well, my Mom died in 1990. And the January 15th eclipse hits my Sun at 25.43 Cancer in the 8th house.

vig, don't go there. prophecy can SO be self-fulfilling...just because you have noticed eclipses taking people from you does not mean it will happen every time, and second-guessing it will only make you miserable, not a good energy to bring to the eclipse energy...just my 2c...

Anne Ortelee posted her Full Moon/Eclipse article really late...

Full Moon Eclipse
December 31, 2009
Happy New Year!
10:14 Capricorn Sun/ Cancer Moon
2:13 pm EST
11:13 am PST

The Full Moon Eclipse on December 31, 2009 marks the end of 2009. It offers us an emotional release of the past year. For many people, 2009 was a difficult year as Pluto's entry into Capricorn became "real" while Saturn's passage through late Virgo frustrated yet encouraged us to build our responsibility skills as we apprenticed in the land of Saturn.

The full moon lunation also brings up for closure the events of last July when the three eclipses back then opened up a story that you've dealt with over the fall. Now the story from last summer wants to close back up and go to sleep again. Hopefully, you've figured out how to handle the situation and are ready to move forward. In some cases, you will be moving forward without the person or situation involved. In other cases, you've reached a compromise of sorts and are able to focus on the future and move forward together. In either event, do wrap up, to the best of your ability, the situation so you are clear, clean and open for the next part of your journey.

The eclipse has a Fist of God or Hammer of Thor with Mars retrograde as the handle as well as a Grand Cross with six planets involved in it. The Hammer or Thor ties into the Grand Cross ~ imagine the Hammer banging away with a large Cross tied to its head. There are two Gangs of Three ~ the Jupiter/ Neptune/ Chiron in Aquarius gang that we've gotten used to as well as a Sun/ Venus/ Pluto Gang in early Capricorn ~ hanging on the Hammer. No planets in the sky are unaspected so all attention is paid and all of the various planets energies are combined and swirling together in one giant, cosmic connection, pulsing and releasing.

Eclipses offer us powerful energies and moments in time to release or connect or a combination of both. This eclipse, with the Moon in Cancer on the South Node, is an important release around family matters, habits and health issues. The Moon is receiving developmental stress from 5 planets! The Sun says to Moon look at your habits that are rigid and not working for you. Venus says to Moon have you been doing what is of value to YOU or to the other person? Pluto says to Moon have you been aware of the deeper reasons for your choices as well as the triangles or power dynamics you've created or entered into? Those three planets are sitting across the sky from Moon, talking to her.

Saturn in Libra is squaring the Moon saying you need to partner with yourself in better ways ~ didn't you learn this lesson last summer? How can you partner with yourself (or others) in ways that support YOUR emotions and what you are trying to accomplish rather than sabotage them? And Juno in closing square to the Moon says watch for envy or jealousy. Instead of being envious or jealous or defending against it, take action to move yourself further along on YOUR path, not THEIR path. Ignore the envy if you have the emotion swirling inside of you ~ focus on what you want to create for your self. If you are receiving envy, be grateful for it but don't duck. Name it and move on.

The lunation is a splash chart so you will feel yourself pulled in many directions. Again, focus on what you need to do for yourself emotionally. What needs to leave? What have you finished with? What do you want to release? And, what do you want to position yourself to bring in on the new moon eclipse in a few weeks? Get that project moving on your desk or home ~ you have a couple of weeks to structure it so you can move and take advantage of the New Moon energy.

Mars in Leo as the handle of Thor's Hammer suggests you will make great progress hammering through old or outstanding issues or projects. So send the Hammer off to bang away at the outstanding issues, projects and paperwork in your life. Get them wrapped up and off your desk, out into the world. File the papers, pay the taxes, figure out the balances due, wrap up the dangling projects and situations. Mercury in Capricorn is precise, partnering, decisive and perfectly balanced in his communication so take advantage of his energy, particularly on the North Node, to move yourself and the papers, communications, outreach and organization forward towards a new structure.

Retrogrades offer us an opportunity to redo the area that they rule. Under this lunation we have both Mars and Mercury heading retrograde. That means four of our 12 houses are up for revision with the eclipse energy. Our Aries and Scorpio planets and houses are affected by the Mars retrograde ~ revise those areas of life. Our Virgo and Gemini planets and houses are affected by the Mercury retrograde. In each case, Saturn in his exaltation sign of Libra is in charge of the energy. Saturn in Libra wants you to partner, as an EQUAL, with the areas he rules. No more subservient or dropping or being less than you are. Stand up nice and tall, shoulders back, with your head up, chest out and arms open to restructure those areas of your life.

You KNOW what is working and isn't working in your life. Now is your chance ~ all the planets are talking to each other and talking to you. It is time to go for it. GO FOR IT! It won't be EXACTLY what you want (we have to wait until late Spring / early Summer for that) but at least make a first pass or attempt at revising it and getting what you want out the door. Try to get it to where you want it. Like anything, you will have to work a bit at it.

Finally, Venus and the Moon are both out of bounds under the lunation. Moon out of bounds in Cancer is receiving all that energy from the other 5 planets and can be highly reactive emotionally. Let the tears flow. Let the emotions leave you or pulse around you so you can see them clearly. It isn't about the OTHER person. It is about what YOU want. They might have represented what you wanted but now, not so much. The emotions are rolling. Feel them. Note them. Let them settle down. What do YOU want? Not what do they want, YOU? They can take care of themselves. You need to take care of YOU right now.

Venus out of bounds in Capricorn, trapped between the Sun and Pluto ~ falling on their midpoint too, is about the purpose, desire and loves of your life. She's in charge of Saturn right now. Saturn is in charge of just about everyone else in the heavens. Venus in Capricorn wants the excellence in life. She's ambitious. She's crystal clear. She's about value and quality. Focus on the value and quality of what that you desire. Give yourself permission to verbalize what it is. Say it out loud every morning and night between now and the New Moon eclipse in January when you and the heavens are going to line up with Venus to help make it happen.

Lynda Hill's interpretation of the Sabian Image for the Sun at 11 Capricorn is PHEASANTS DISPLAY THEIR BRILLIANT COLORS ON A PRIVATE ESTATE

Commentary: 'Pheasants Display Their Brilliant Colors on a Private Estate' is an image of beauty, color and wealth. It pictures a situation of the enjoyment of life's luxuries. The 'Pheasants' are beautiful as they 'Display Their Brilliant Colors'. They have long tails and brilliantly colored plumage. People are drawn to their beauty and can be awed by their presence. That they are on 'A Private Estate' shows an environment of privilege and security.

Oracle: This can picture going after one's life goals. Riches, refinement and abundance are everywhere. However, just take care: 'Pheasants' can be game birds, so there may be an element of underlying danger. Displays of wealth and beauty can inspire others, but they can also lead to jealousy and begrudging acknowledgments. That this place is pictured as a 'Private Estate' signifies that it may need to be protected, and kept 'Private'. People who don't belong there may be able to come and visit, but it may be that they're really invading someone else's space or privacy. The visitors need to show respect and courtesy and not presume that they can move in and take over. On the other hand, being 'Private', this place may not be truly welcoming to people; they may find it unwelcoming and forbidding in some way. There may be difficulty in keeping up with the amount of work that goes into the maintenance of this 'Private Estate' it may take a lot of time to look after the house and grounds. Who does the work and who appreciates the luxury? Looking after the lawn and the garden can bring a feeling of improved well-being. Regardless of whether you're a visitor or an occupant, just going out and looking at the beauty of the place, the plants and the wildlife can heighten your day.

Keywords: Glorious houses and estates. Lawns and gardens. Statues and birdbaths. Peacocks, pheasants, swans, etc. Enjoying the riches the environment offers. Large plots of land. Nature reserves. Game birds. Aristocracy and the ruling elite. Beauty, elegance and grace. Fabulous displays of color. Parks.

The Caution: Foolish disregard of pending danger. Feeling that one has to be "on parade" or else they will be overlooked. Issues of standing out from the crowd. Jealousy and envy through things on display. Luxury and beauty or snobbery that excludes. Showing off. "Do not enter" signs.

Fine feathers make fine birds. Traditional Proverb

It is not only fine feathers that make fine birds. Aesop

It is not that the French are not profound, but they all express themselves so well that we are led to take their geese for swans. Van Wyck Brooks

Few rich men own their own property. The property owns them. Robert Greene Ingersoll

The more things accumulate the more life is wasted because they have to be purchased at the cost of life. Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh (a man with some 90 Rolls Royces).

Lynda Hill's interpretation of the Sabian Image for 11 Cancer Moon is A CLOWN IS CARICATURING WELL-KNOWN PERSONALITIES

Commentary: 'A Clown Caricaturing Well-Known Personalities' symbolizes someone clowning around, doing impersonations (or taking on other personalities), and putting on a mask. There can be role-playing here, where someone is putting on an archetypal "face" and performing because one must, for some reason. The entire act can be masking what is really going on within them. This can end up obscuring who one truly is on the inside. This can be because it is difficult, or compromising, to let one's real emotions or thoughts be known. Perhaps there are secrets or information that it's best for others not to know. The 'Caricaturing' can take up time whilst things, or conditions, change for the better.

Oracle: Laughter is often said to be the best medicine and "many things said in jest" may be a useful thing to remember as you relax and get things back on the right track. Perhaps someone is not being real, using masks and play-acting in order to hide what their true emotions, needs or objectives are. Or, they can just be playing the fool when the situation needs a more serious response. This can be acceptable for a while, but, sooner or later, this kind of behavior can end up being both annoying and frustrating. This can also be about the need to see things objectively or from someone else's point of view. Things may seem exaggerated and blown out of proportion. "Chameleons", people who act differently around different people, are somewhat hard to take seriously. Are people being true to themselves in this situation? What is really behind the facial expressions and masks?

Keywords: Exaggerated responses. Wanting to entertain. Show business. Trying to be something or someone that one's not. Putting on a face. Comic performances. Parodies of personalities. Making fun of someone. Clowns and clowning. Life imitating art. Always performing. Irony. Satire. Objective observance. Criticism. Laughter. Caricatures. Cartoons.

The Caution: Being foolish in the face of positive potential. Trying to cover up reality through buffoonery. Being constantly "on stage". Living vicariously. Inauthentic behavior. Not having the courage to display one's true self. Putting on a face to manipulate or fool others. Irritating behavior that wears thin after a while. Being the laughing stock.

At least she posted it this time. The last time she posted one was in November. Her stuff is ALWAYS late.

I'm at the point that I don't even feel like reading it.

I dunno why your comment made me laugh Diana.

It's like you could have just posted the word "Whatever!"

Anne's administrative office person left, and I think she kept Anne organized and on time.

Unmoved,

I have been annoyed about this for awhile. Since the summer/fall.

Venus in gem,
But she was NEVER on time!!!

Yes, she said that, but that is recent. How does she explain the lateness in the summer and fall? She never posted on time and she always has the craziest excuses. I don't even think I believe any of them.

Maybe it's a good thing her assistant left, because she couldn't get anything done on time either. Does Anne write her column at the last minute? I don't understand how TWO people can't get a column posted on time if it's a weekly thing. Why were the full moon columns not posted since Nov.?? It just doesn't make any sense unless she writes them at the last minute. They are good, so maybe she needs to be inspired. If so, just say that...

I hope she manages to get it together, because I used to look forward to them, but would check and a lot of times they weren't even posted the day they are supposed to be -- if at all...

Stuff like this bothers me. Maybe it's my merc. cap ( In the 9th of publishing, no less!)or maybe it's my saturn conjunct AC, but if I were her assistant they would be posted on time -- or else. I mean, this her JOB!

I have found Anne's columns to be amazingly accurate this time. For me, this eclipse was definitely about endings and loss. Even the part about ending something that began in July and reassessing relationships and exposing things to light was totally accurate.

I hope she is right that things will be looking up in late May/early June.

Yeah, her columns are good.

The stuff about endings and beginnings isn't her's though. That's basic eclipse astrology. It should end in june-july, because that's when the next eclipse comes. That one is not nice. Technically, an eclipse ends after the outer planets make their last pass, though.

I looked at your charts earlier and I saw either you or him, or your composite has eclipse on or opposite venus and some other planets being triggered by the eclipse. So, this was bound to happen. Still sucks, though. If something ends under an eclipse, you are never supposed to get back together because it won't work.

Diana,

Composite Venus is at 23 Capricorn so it would have been opposite the eclipse, but since the eclipse was at 10 Cap that seems very wide. Or maybe not, since it was an eclipse--that's powerful energy.

Composite Sun was sextile the eclipse. Composite ASC was trine.

I didn't know that about eclipses--that when things end you don't go back. That's good info and only strengthens my resolve.

The 1/15 eclipse is on your comp venus. That was it. The 1/15 eclipse is already in effect now.

I think one of the eclipses is square or conjunct some of his planets too (venus?), but I don't remember. I do remember the 12/31 eclipse was on his juno in the 12th. I thought that was SO appropriate.

You're right. His natal Venus at 10 Aries was exact square the 12/31 eclipse.

I hope that means he's feeling some of the pain I'm feeling.

The 1/15 eclipse will be square both our Plutos.

It definitely foreshadowed the loss (or the furtherance) of a relationship or woman. With venus, it's either a woman or money. You'll either get it or lose it with an eclipse. More info should surface when the eclipse hits and when planets transit that point. Maybe when merc goes direct on 1/15 too -- info will come to light.
