who would be more prone to depression? a scorpio moon in the first house square saturn or a capricorn moon in the 8th house square uranus and mercury?

Looks like they both have some of the classic factors. You'd have to look at the chart more thoroughly..don't forget condition of H3 and H6, planets placed therein and the house rulers. But youre right its common with Saturn/Pluto dominants. Also Air dominants it seems, the tendency to over-analyze can work the mind over into a helpless state where the joy of living is lost, I guess this could apply to strong Virgo as well.

nearly i had 2 times depression;first one with anxiety..
i am scorpio sun in 12th house..my other planets are so positive aspects;libra and saggy effects.also i have saggy ascending with aries moon..but for last years i bec..ame so positive person;it might be from asc saggy..

but i have lot of tears;you know scorpios dont show tears and fears..but i the opposite also it might from 12 th house sun..and also i have sun conj uranus it is also interesting

It all depends on the other factors of each horoscopes. I would say, that the first person has more depressive horsocope cause the second one is rather very anxious, with many fears... On the other hand the first one stronger hides and keeps fellings for itself (what causes depression as well)

I agree with Cyprian, for those factors they both are prone to depression but for different reasons, that ultimately lead to the same cycle...
