I have a soulmate question! If either or both of you could take the time to answer this I would really appreciate it. I thought I'd ask you girls because I know you're very interested in asteroids and have done your own research on this

I'm basically curious about a person who I've known for a couple of years now. I believe I may have shared past lives with this person. However I don't think we were "romantically involved" in these previous lives. I met him at a point in my life when I was having some problems and he helped me a lot.. I feel a VERY deep affection & trust when I look into his eyes. We have a close friendship.

What I am wondering about is.. what SORT of relationship would we have had in the past? A family relationship - a friendship - co-workers.. I'm just not sure..

I'd like to know first of all – whether you guys think he is a soulmate of mine.. and secondly if you had to take an educated guess.. what would you say our past life or lives together - involved? What were we to each other?

These are the main asteroid conjunctions we have (as far as I've checked).. The only other two I noticed were.. His Kaali conjunct my Pallas.. and Lust1 & 2 are on my AC-DC axis.. His is on my AC and mine is on my DC - opposite each other.

OH! And I almost forgot.. my Juno is at 16' Sag trine his Jupiter at 14' Leo.. His own Juno is at 10' Virgo opposite my Jupiter at 9 Pisces.

So to find out what your past lives may have been, I would look at following things:

1. Conjunctions of tropical objects to SN

2. conjunctions (maybe also oppositions and trines) of tropical objects to Karma

3. conjunctions / oppositions of Draco objects to tropical SN

4. conjunctions / oppositions of Draco objects to tropical Karma

5. aspects from Draco objects to Draco objects, especially oppositions -
why oppositions?
Because if we calculated the Dracos with the SOUTH node instead of the NN as we do now, all oppositions in the usual Draco-chart would appear as conjunctions in the SOUTH NODE Draco chart.

6. MOON and SATURN shifted charts

7. PERSONA charts of SOUTH NODE and KARMA, maybe also SATURN

Let me brainstorm a bit about possible relevant objects in different relationships:

a) love relationships
Venus, Mars, Juno, Valentine, Eros, Psyche, Aphrodite

b) intellectual ones, maybe teacher-pupil or coworkers (Jupiter/chiron-Mercury is more teacher-pupil, Pallas, Athena, Minerva are more indicative of coworkers)
Mercury, Jupiter, Pallas, (Athena, Minerva), Chiron

c) brothers / sisters
Apollo, Diana / Artemis,
Isis, Nephtys

d) family relationships
Moon, IC, Saturn
Ceres / Demeter, Persephone / Proserpina
(Put Pluto into the equation and you get the whole family drama)
Latona / Leto, Apollo, Artemis / Diana

I would also look at the asteroids:
Angel and Spirit

Now there are some asteroid, that I called "nasties" (not because they are necessarily nasty, but they can be indicative of hurt or powerplays etc.)
Nessus, Lucifer, -
Chiron, Saturn, Pluto (Saturn and Pluto are not in itself bad or nasty, but their lessons can be hard to learn)

The other category I would keep in mind, are "Soothies":
Angel,
Jupiter, Neptune
Chiron (Chiron can be about healing and hurting)

Of course this is just a brainstorming.

Regarding the question if you are soulmates, I would check (and some may disagree on this) for exact / tight aspects to:
- Moon
- IC
- ruler of 4th, 8th and 12th house
- soulmate pairings in strong aspects (especially conjunction, opposition and trine, but I wouldn`t disregard an exact sextile)
- exact conjunctions opposition, trines to ASC

But there are some conections that seem very powerful and contribute to you feeling like hs is probably a SM.

Valentine/asc cj
Pluto cj one´s mars/asc..this can indicate some power struggles and manipulation,from your part.do you feel any kind of obssessiveness torwards him?

his osiris cj your isis/osiris cj:this for itself shows a soulmate pairing.your feminine energie conects to his masculine energy and isis/osiris are seen as a very spiritual conection as it stands for soulmate feeling.not only that but you represent to each other the ideal partner.your moon there also blends well,being moon the feminine emotional planet,linked to his osiris ( perfect partner)

venus/node cj node:this one is hossom and appears very often in relationships..it is your path to love one another

it is like the Greek Eros is being split in Roman mythology into two Gods:

1) Cupid
Which relates to romance and being "in love".

2) Amor
the soulful one, with unconditional, yet sometimes platonic, love for someone

I have also found that delineation in a book about asteroids by Leeman, and I have seen it in real life, too.
Amor seems to be just about loving someone, caring for them, sometimes to the point that it takes "some broken bones" to wake up (that was a quote from the Leeman`s book).

About DRACO charts - we have almost the exact same aspects in DRACO (very slight difference in degree), because our NNs are conjunct. Should I just stick to comparing tropical-draco synastry instead?

That is possible. I was leaning towards family as well - because the connection & the trust were immediate and he has never let me down.

Diandra - Thank you! Everything you said makes a lot of sense. I feel this constant interesting back and forth between us, which makes me think we both see the other person as "ideal" in more ways than one. We have some differences as well, but who doesn't? And I couldn't image all those trines in the absence of the oppositions & squares (I think things would get dull)

Spanky - lol I did..........not........ I chickened out I was very tempted to does that count? lol

I like the fact that we spend NYE together. I am a little superstitious about it - so this was a good sign. It wasn't just "us". There were a few people there and we were also invited but we had a cute and very secret talk at one point. He's so sweet. I get butterflies in my stomach lol Whenever I mention him to one of my friends, she does the *gag* reflex as a joke because I get that sentimental. For anyone who knows me - it's weird because normally I don't go there.. but he just makes me feel that way!

I am very much on the fence about this one. Actually I think that the tropical-Draco aspect would show where a past life influence (Draco) still affects the present incarnation (tropical). So a tropical-Draco aspect wouldn`t really tell anything about a pure past life scenario.

If the two NN`s are exact conjunct, it maybe means that the past life scenario is being repeated in a sense? Of course with modifications as shown in the DracoTropical aspects?

actually, square and oppositions to midpoints are usually not considered being afflictions, but only triggers. So you are on the good side with that!
