PDF;

"Chiron is Saturns son."

And Athena is Jupiter`s daughter.

PA,

I HAVE to believe he is joking. Otherwise I would have to think HE is a joke, and I would HATE to think that about another person.

So, I came to the conclusion, he is just joking and in a way creating a caricature of tendencies on LL we have been observing all along.

I just take it that's his sense of humour. No one could be that genuinely arrogant and have a sense of humour about themselves as well.

PA,

"No one could be that genuinely arrogant and have a sense of humour about themselves as well"
Exactly.

Besides could a Sag really being that arrogant?

Oh well, I guess we could.

I came b/c I want to know that life is ordered and all my pain is not random and unknown to God.
A question---are the asteroids worth doing in synastry?

Ami Ann

I'm the opposite to you. I hope the world is not ordered. It gives me hope that there is a way out of the pain. No pain goes unknown by God. That's my belief.

A lot of Knowflakes swear by the asteroids. I consider myself a learner when it comes to them. I'm happy to observe them and see how they fit/work.

If you have a question you want to ask, you can just post the chart. Add some asteroids. Or ask IQ in his questions thread if you have specific asteroid questions (if you haven't already).

I was touched by that for some reason. And i can promise you that your pain is not random. Yes life is ordered, and it is just. We all suffer in varying degrees and we can free ourselves from it by paying it off in this life, so that we do not inherit any further pain.
And yes astrology is a good framework to pictorialise the workings of god through. Can i look at your natal chart please..

Some say yes, some say no.

I would say check past relationships and see if the asteroids make sense for you there.

I know.

But does he know, I wonder?

I guess now he does.

Ami Ann,

I also believe that pain is not random and certainly not unknown to God.
That is where astrology has helped me tremendously. To gain some sort of understanding that even the greatest pain will or could lead to something better.
And that no pain will be foreever.

Or that great minds think alike? Or, perhaps it's just Aqua Moons conjunct?

It can feel that way when you can't see a way out or past. It's true though, it does end or ease somewhere, somehow. Astrology - our natal chart - offers insights into how we deal with things, what we can learn from what we're experiencing, maybe even why we're experiencing it and understanding the transits help to understand the passing phase of it all as well.

I would hate to think that any suffering is ordered by God (whatever your interpretation of God is). I would like to think that God or spirit or whatever faith you hold is they key to releasing yourself from your pain. I believe in a loving God, so a God that wants us to suffer doesn't fit for me.

PA,

"It can feel that way when you can't see a way out or past."
Yes, I have been there. But it eases, some day. And it may sound masochistic, but I had been dreading the day the pain would ease, cause that was the day I knew that it was really over.
But I am over that masochistic phase now.

And it is a good feeling, when you wake up one day, and you feel you are free.

I agree completely.
AS you said. Aqua Moons, we get each other.

"I believe in a loving God"
Yes, me, too.

I came because I have serious trust issues with people in real life, who have betrayed me in the past with any and every bit of information they can on me. I'm blaming Merc in Scorp for my paranoia, but maybe you will see something I don't.

For me, it was Linda Goodman's spirit in her words....I felt I really strong sort of resonance with her. I come to LL to discuss all areas of the mysteries, and sometimes a bit of philosophy. I'm more of a dabbler in astrology. That might be a trait of a Gemini Sun, heheh. I can't seem to motivate myself to apply my mind to astrology...if it makes sense...I sort of half believe in it and half don't. I think maybe if I believed in it more, I would be motivated to learn how to read charts better.

I had a reading by Judy Hall a while ago (postal reading on tape). My interest in spirituality and the mysteries show up in my chart. She said I had an interesting chart, sort of like what she would expect to see in a "spiritual midwife". I have aspects to Uranus in Scorpio in the 10nth. Moon conjunct Pluto in 9nth. Mars, Saturn and Jupiter in the 8th. Neptune in 12th.

I came here to become a better astrologer, especially when it comes to love and relationships. Learning, getting questions answered, contributing whatever I had to contribute...

I have stayed here because this place is (mostly) full of wonderful and interesting people with whom I love interacting.

Very wide grand Fire trine here,

Saturn 20.06 Sag, 1st house
Mars 28.28 Aries, 5th house
Moon 23.08 Leo, 9th house

Oh, and an Grand Air Trine also..

Chiron 21.25 Aqu, 3rd house
Venus 25.59 Gem, 7th house
Jupiter 23.03 Lib, 10th

So that makes me way more special than Mr. PredominatelyFire, cuz it forms a Star of David, which I have been told is rare.

Nah, Nah, Na, Nah, Na....

No it doesn't. Because i used orbs of less than 1 degree in mine. If i used orbs as wide as you all my planets would be in a special alignment called the Star of Belony.

Whatever I have a grand Air trine.

Everyone has something special in their charts whether it's a singleton, a star of David, an exalted planet or a void.

What brings me to LindaLand? X3 I confess that what brought me here was a thread that offered free synastry readings lol~ Back then, I was still green at astrology, and searching for some compatibility analysis. But now I still come back, coz in this forum, there are people with interesting and unique in-depth insights, that I keep learning many interesting things here.

But well, what keeps me interesting in astrology are:
- self-understanding;
- understanding my relationships;
- understanding psychology and life;
- a peek on what symbolism has to say about my fate.

i came looking for answers to a specific question. did i get them? not really, but i did get a lot of stimulation toward figuring it out myself.

pdf, my daughter has TWO grand fire trines and a t-square you wouldn't believe. so forgettaboutit man...

me i am special just because i am me. my pisces moon trine uranus in 5 is symbolic of the need to create a reality that is completely "outside" the norm...and i like LL because it disregards the "norm" more often than not...so...likeminded people? support for dreams, food for thought!!

Katatonic - I would have struggled to find those words.....that's exactly what I came here for, and exactly what I am finding........the support and encouragement to work out the answers myself.

I like control. I feel like I am in a place at the moment where I am waiting for something to happen. I am not naturally patient, and I am actually quite keen to get on and live my life........but it has been feeling a bit stuck and I want help kick starting it. I am finding answers where are none, I am that desperate for something to happen!

I first joined this site when I was a senior in high school, I really wanted more insight as far as Astrology was concerned and it was nice to talk to like minded people.

I've gone through my ancient posts a while ago and its really nice to see the progression that goes through a person from adolescence to early adulthood. I've definitely changed in so many ways, for instance I pushed myself out of my comfort zone in order to experience new things and now I'm absolutely willing to experience new and amazing possibilities that I truly never would have imagined. I guess you could say I'm much more in tune with my Sag. ASC.
