i think the comparison with 19 years ago is ONLY with the eclipse then, most everything else will be hitting different spots in the zodiac. so it's probably safe to say that the effects will also be very different even though the eclipse itself will hit the same points in YOUR chart...hopefully this will be reassuring for vig and others whose memories throw up sorrow...

Do you have any planets near 25.01 Capricorn or 25.01 Cancer? I think they use a 5 degree orb with eclipses, so 5 degrees on either side of those two points.

I'm so not looking forward to this eclipse... making a grand square to my progressed chart has me freaking out here.

I don't like the way my natal moon and venus and valentine are involved either.

I believe just knowing about the possible result of a future event already gives us the power to influence it. The purpose of learning about transits and all these astrology stuff is to help us navigate our life better and not to stand back helpless as we watch "horrible" events come to us.

As for people dying, that isn't something that we can control. The soul decides when it wants to go. There is a belief that all deaths are suicide, meaning we choose when we want to end our life and in what "style" (not "us" actually but the Higher Self).

Astrology Class - How Solar and Lunar Eclipses Affect Us, and Does An Eclipse Have to be Bad?
by Robert Wilkinson

Since we have a very powerful Solar Eclipse in Capricorn coming on January 14-15 at 26 Capricorn, I though we should take a new look at Solar and Lunar Eclipses to understand them better. Why are Eclipses so powerful, and what can we do to make the best of them?

You can find more about the recent Blue Moon New Year's Lunar Eclipse by going to the articles for December 30 and 31, 2009, as well as January 5, 2010. I'm still composing an article or two on the immanent Solar Eclipse which I'll post soon. It occurs at 26 Capricorn at 11:11 pm PST January 14, which is January 15 everywhere east of there.

For now, I'll offer you a little bit. As it's conjunct Venus just before Mercury goes direct, it should prove to be a "sweet" eclipse, where old values, resources, and relationships are left behind just as new ones will replace them. Especially since Jupiter is in the last degree of Aquarius, I believe this is the beginning of the formation of highly effective groups dedicated to a more conscious dance with the natural world.

For today, though, please re-visit these important articles on Solar and Lunar eclipses, since they offer a larger understanding of what they're about and how we can use them to best advantage.

The Solar Eclipse - What Does It Mean and How Do They Affect Our Lives
by Robert Wilkinson

Though it is still a few weeks off, today we revisit an article on the influence of The Solar Eclipse. These are important "footprints in time," as they set many things into major motion, shutting down some of the "lights" in our lives while opening us to other distant "lights," thus creating needed space for our personal evolution. They are not to be feared, though they do bring radical change and life transformations.

Since we have two Solar Eclipses each year and they usually affect us for years after they occur, it may be good to explore what they actually mean and how their influence works. This article expands on some things I've offered before about these recurring important stellar events, both regarding the myth and the reality. Historically, an eclipse, whether Solar or Lunar, is one of the most dreaded events in all of astrology.

Tables of various eclipse cycles have been kept since antiquity in several cultures, and it is said that the ancient Babylonians had eclipse tables over a 500,000 year period. Traditional thinking says that when the shadow of an eclipse falls on a nation or people, it is assumed to have dire consequences for the future of that nation. Historically, more than not this is accurate. Without this becoming a boring recitation of different empires crashing under the weight of their own excesses rather than an astronomical phenomenon, I will remind you that an astrological event does not make anything happen, correlations notwithstanding. That being said...

There are many cycles of eclipses, some recurring relatively frequently, some taking decades, even centuries to recur. The ancients felt that its shadow signified the passing from power of a ruling family or dynasty, the invasion of the nation by hostile foreign powers, the death of an era, even famine, drought, or pestilence. They indicate the shadowing of the "great light" by another object that obscures the greater light, if only momentarily. So an eclipse blocks the light of the Sun for a period of time, usually a few minutes, during which the skies go dark and we can see other, fainter light coming from stars we wouldn't ordinarily see.

This is certainly true of a total eclipse, and to a lesser degree during partial eclipses. The ancients also thought that the number of hours a Solar Eclipse lasts over a nation shows the number of years it would suffer affliction, and the number of hours a Lunar Eclipse lasts shows the number of months it will suffer. But of course, that doesn't happen in our ultra-rationalistic, left-brain reality any more, right?

Well, leaving aside any argument of causality, I have found that where an eclipse falls in a birth chart corresponds with something ending in that part of the life. Whatever house it occurs in is where something is about to end in a significant way. If the eclipse conjuncts a planet, expect to see endings in that old planetary psychological function. And of course, it will affect the houses ruled by any planet it touches.

If an eclipse conjuncts your Venus, you may assume that sooner or later you will confront the end of an old way of enjoying life, an old value, or an old relationship. You will see this work out in the houses ruled by Taurus and Libra. If it conjuncts Mercury, an old mindset or perception or interpretation that was a significant part of your life will pass away through the life areas ruled by Gemini and Virgo. If an eclipse conjuncts your Saturn, an old important responsibility, obligation, hinderance, or fear will leave the life as seen in the areas of life (houses) ruled by Capricorn and Aquarius.

If the eclipse affects the Moon, expect the ending of an old habit or way of experiencing life and the affairs of the house where you have Cancer. If Mars, an old hassle or quarrel will end, or there will be a hassle as a result of an ending in the houses ruled by Aries and Scorpio. If Jupiter, an old vision, philosophical view, or an obsolete moral stance affecting the houses with Sagittarius and Pisces on the cusp. If the eclipse falls on your Sun, expect the end of the light in some way, or perhaps the passing of an old life order. It will most affect the house with Leo on the cusp.

So it primarily shows as an ending in the house in which it falls. It shows as an ending of a psychological function if it conjuncts a planet, and this works out through the houses ruled by the planet it touches. Of course, if it affects a planet, it also affects all the other planets that are connected to the eclipsed planet by sign rulership, i.e., if an eclipse conjuncts your Venus, it will naturally affect whatever planets you have in Taurus or Libra.

Here it is useful to remember that in a chart all the planets represent important people in your life, both past and present. If an eclipse conjuncts your Jupiter, expect a relationship with a Jupiterian, Sagittarius, or Pisces to end, or go through such a radical change that it will seem like you're relating to an entirely different person.

The same with Saturn and the rest. When an eclipse conjuncts your Saturn, it usually signifies the passing of an elder, someone in a position of power in your life, or someone who kept you under a limitation or fear. So even an eclipse can be beneficial in that it can remove obsolete elements in your life, or people that no longer symbolize who you really are, or who you have become since you originally met them.

Eclipses occur several times a year, and not all eclipses are equally influential. Yet they all indicate coming endings, obscurations, passings, maybe even deaths, both literal and metaphoric. We always are under the influence of more than one from the past, and always have others coming within a few months, due to the conjunctions with the Moon's Nodes.

One more thing to note: a Solar eclipse is a New Moon, while a Lunar eclipse is a Full Moon. Like all lunations, the Full Moon brings to form the promise of the seed represented by the New Moon. Eclipses work the same way, but are considered more influential over a longer period. Still, the basic relationship of the lunations to each other conforms to the general pattern, which may be helpful in understanding how the energetics work.

25.03 Capricorn they say - that is an almost exact hit to my sensitive cancer moon at 24.50 of Cancer. My 3rd house cusp is 24.54 of Cancer. I have no idea what this eclipse will mean to me or how the effects of it will manifest in my life. A change in home life? Bad enough both my rulers in the sky are doing the backwards boogaloo (Mars and Mercury).

Solar Eclipse: Expect the Unexpected

We see a Solar (New Moon) Eclipse on January 14, 2010 at 11:11 PM PST at 25 Capricorn 01, and what we can expect is the unexpected, symbolized by the sextile of Uranus to the eclipse (and for eclipse aspects, sticking to our usual strict 2 degree orb). Part of the surprise is that Venus joins the pairing of Sun and Moon at the degree and only 49 minutes from exact, traveling ahead of the combo (the exact conjunction is past). This places Venus combust the Sun, and though we must consider that Venus in such a state is weakened as a distinct entity, it’s also melded with the Sun, and so becomes one with it. The ultimate effect is such that the Sun seems to absorb Venus-ness into itself, and in my view, in this instance this is only good. It promises that the eclipse sparks a pure and luminious love effect whereever it falls in the natal chart; by love I mean that this force will take whatever shape is needed for the individual (but remember, what we think we need may not be what we actually need!) and this can be reward or recognition, actual love, money, assets, discovery of talents, expression that is one with the senses, an artistic revelation, fulfilling relationship, illumination of where one’s treasure lies–in short, a payoff for being who we are. Semi-sextiles to Neptune and Chiron suggest that ideals and/ or delusions come into play–dreams can come true–and in the case of delusions they may come true only to show us that our real assets or goals lie elsewhere. There is also the potential for hurt or the discovery/ exploitation of innate and unique skills (Chiron); you can see that, though no matter what happens it will be of benefit to the individual, it may involve the discovery that what we previously valued isn’t truly in our own best interests. The gift of the eclipse is the chance for illumination of the Venus principle in a way very particular to each individual. Take what comes with a response of gratitude, as even the end of a pleasant illusion is something to celebrate; it allows us to put our attention and energy into what will affect our reality, and so change our lives for the better.

A semi-square to Ceres by the eclipse rounds out the direct Sun/Moon involvement with other bodies, signalling that nature and/ or authorities may place a vital role in realizing our eclipse potential; for many this will involve the recognition that one must assume authority for oneself and one’s choices, at this point. The Sabian for the eclipse and Venus degree is ‘A Nature Spirit Dancing in the Iridescent Mist of a Waterfall’ This suggests that the wholistic and organic will be venues for expression of the unseen, again emphasizing the materializtion/ expression of ‘what is,’ which is just another name for love.

Also active at the time of the eclipse is stationary Mercury in Capricorn, which trines Vesta, sesquiquadrates Sedna, and forms a T-square with Juno and Saturn (here we note that Merc will not meet Pluto before direction–its proximity is a red herring). This implies Mercury is attempting to ‘do the right thing’ but is pretty confused right now–if we’re trying to make a statement about reality or the concrete (Capricorn) based on our very best intentions that honor the sacred (Vesta) and that define our own sphere of empowerment (Juno) as well as ‘the rules’ (Saturn) we will be unable to do so with any veracity–not because we’re trying to deceive, but because we’re unable to see the situation at all (Sedna). These statements of ‘this is what I am, this is the situation I’m in control of’ must wait until Mercury is direct and out of contact with Vesta–then we’ll have a much clearer and more accurate idea whereof we speak!

Also of interest is that Uranus is making only easy aspects: sextiles to Moon, Sun, and Venus, a trine to Earth and South Node. This is why the surprises will be largely happy ones, and 100% positive, even if they’re a bummer in the moment; ultimately they will be all for the good. And Mars retro is just within reach of a Grand Trine with Juno and Ceres, making issues of empowerment, authority, and stymied, delayed, or misdirected action the biggest, hairiest fly in our ointment–but considering the sheer positive candlepower of what’s coming with the eclipse, we won’t have much to complain about (unless we’re going in completely the wrong direction–but those people don’t read this blog, do they?)

I guess the earthquake in Haiti fits with the eclipse.

Saturn is stationary retrograde right now,and with it squaring Pluto, it could indicate significant destruction.

this eclipse conjuncts my first house mercury (ruler of my 6th house and 9th house)

it also trines my 5th house chiron...

i am concerned about my aging cat. (6th house and mercury issue) he is 22 years old (human years) he is just so agitated these days. sometimes he seems happy and other times he's so irritable. he's pretty much completely deaf and has cataracts. he is very emaciated... i think we may put him down on saturday...i really want him to choose to go on his own...peacefully...

ah well.. we shall see what transpires.

wow. I can really relate to this bit. I hope that something really good comes of all of this, because to me, it feels like the biggest waste of my time, right now (that fly in the ointment, in my life).

The Solar Eclipse at 26 Capricorn January 14-15, 2010 - Where Does It Fall and Who Is Affected?

This Solar Eclipse (like most) will have a huge impact on everyone. All eclipses shut something down, taking away elements of our lives no longer true for us. Capricorn is the sign of personal authority, worldly standing, and power structures. It is how Cancer, the sign of home, family, and intimate feelings externalizes. So a form of our sense of authority or old duties and responsibilities will end, with the void sure to attract new forms of expressing this energy.

This Total Solar Eclipse occurs at 11:11 pm PST January 14, which is 2:11 am EST and 7:11 am Greenwich time on January 15. It puts 8 Virgo rising on Maui, 7 Libra rising in Vancouver, BC, 12 Libra rising in Santa Monica, and 15 Scorpio on the Ascendant in Washington DC. We find 9 Capricorn rising in Rio, 9 Capricorn rising in London, 14 Capricorn rising in Amsterdam, 24 Capricorn rising in Berlin, and 24 Capricorn rising in Tallinn, putting the Eclipse in the first house from Rio to Tallinn. This is sure to be of major significance in shutting things down and opening things up from Brazil through the UK into Central Europe!

Moving east around the world, Johannesburg has 13 Pisces rising, Istanbul has 29 Aquarius rising, Trivandrum has 4 Taurus on the Ascendant, New Delhi has 11 Taurus, Bangkok has 1 Gemini rising, Hong Kong has 18 Gemini, and Tokyo has 18 Cancer on the Ascendant.

Moving toward Oceana, Perth has 28 Taurus, Melbourne, Australia has 20 Gemini, and Wellington has 15 Cancer on the Ascendant.

Obviously where the Eclipse is on an angle is of utmost importance in its influence. In traditional eclipse lore, where the Eclipse is visible will be where the greatest effects can be expected, lasting the number of years that the eclipse is long in hours. This one is 3 hours 45 minutes, thus making it active for the next 3 years and 9 months, making it a major player in the spectacular events coming through 2013.

From NASA, this annular Eclipse of the Sun

... On Friday, 2010 January 15, an annular eclipse of the Sun is visible from within a 300-km-wide track that traverses half of Earth. The path of the Moon's antumbral shadow begins in Africa and passes through Chad, Central African Republic, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Uganda, Kenya, and Somalia. After leaving Africa, the path crosses the Indian Ocean where the maximum duration of annularity reaches 11 min 08 s. The central path then continues into Asia through Bangladesh, India, Burma (Myanmar), and China. A partial eclipse is seen within the much broader path of the Moon's penumbral shadow, which includes eastern Europe, most of Africa, Asia, and Indonesia.

You can find how it tracks each individual region and country by going to this 2010 Solar Eclipse link at the NASA site. It even gives the number of minutes of duration on the central line in case you want to view it. Just make sure to have the right kind of sunglasses, or preferably, a welders helmet!

Besides the factor of where the shadow falls, Eclipses are said to be most powerful when they conjunct the Sun, Moon, Ascendant, or Midheaven of a birth chart. They always bring endings, but these can be of great benefit in clearing away old life factors that have no place in our future. As it was once sung, "something's lost and something's gained in living every day..."

In another example of how a loss can work to great benefit, if it conjuncts the Saturn in a birth chart, it can indicate the ending of old, lesser responsibilities, limitations, or fears, and open the being to a greater sense of purpose. If it conjuncts Jupiter, then it could show the ending of an old philosophy or belief system and open the gates to something far greater. It obviously affects the affairs of the house it falls in the same way.

Given a Solar Eclipse is a New Moon, then like all lunations that work their influence over time, it's triggered by subsequent transits to those points. Thus we can assume we will see developments related to this Eclipse on February 6-7 when Mercury transits 26 Capricorn, bringing ideas, perceptions, and signals about what's happening or will happen.

Still, the BIG trigger will occur on January 9, 10, and 11, 2011, when Mars transits the Eclipse degree. This will precipitate subsequent events related to this Eclipse next January 15-16 (Solar return to the degree), January 31 through February 2 (Mercury transit), and February 25-27, 2011 (Venus transit).

As an aside, some ancient schools of Astrology believed it to be in some degree of influence until the subsequent Saturn transit shut it down completely. If that's so, then we can also expect that the previous time periods will play a part in what we will see come forth between February and November 2020.

In Part 2 we'll explore the different elements and aspects of this Eclipse so we may understand its qualities in greater depth.

The Solar Eclipse at 26 Capricorn January 14-15, 2010 - What Are Its Effects for Different Signs and Generations?

This Eclipse is conjunct the North Node at 22 Capricorn, making this a very powerful Eclipse that will help us build toward the future. We've already gotten significant signs about the effects, since that nodal degree was also active in the recent Lunar Eclipse and Mercury's stationary retrograde degree as well.

Since the North Node symbolizes the line of greatest evolutionary development, to know more about that degree please revisit Long Term December 2009-January 2010 Capricorn-Cancer Lunar Eclipse Effects Pt. 3 - Challenges and Lessons when you're done here.

Given that the Lunation also conjuncts Venus all at 26 Capricorn, we should all see long term opportunities for growth in Capricorn ways. These include taking on greater responsibility, power, or authority in our society, as well as proactive forms of self organization and self discipline for practical purposes. Many will find new ways of claiming their authorship in their world over the next 45 months, the duration of the eclipse effects. For more on how this length of time is determined, please see The Solar Eclipse at 26 Capricorn January 14-15, 2010 -Where Does It Fall and Who Is Affected?

Obviously this Eclipse will bring together areas in our charts involving Capricorn, Taurus, Cancer, Leo, and Libra into long range growth patterns. As the Moon, Sun, and Venus are all at the end of Capricorn, it fulfills part of what Capricorn is all about, and will trigger growth in the individual, mental, and spiritual energies of how we are performing within some group, or skillfully utilizing some group function.

The end of a sign is said to be the "spiritual area" of that sign. This eclipse falls in late Capricorn. Thus this eclipse calls us to push out our "flowers of personality" while letting go of some element of our past, roots, and foundations. Here we can use Capricorn energies to demonstrate some Cancer function we already have down pat.

This Eclipse will transform our intimate lives, our intimate feelings, and our intimate relations, both internal and external. This will help us end that which no longer nurtures us or what we need in order to uphold a standard we've relied on for however long. This can help us let go of the need to find support, or some form of false dependency. This eclipse will no doubt end some previously intimate relationships that no longer accurately reflect our innermost needs and foundations.

The Eclipse degree is "A Water Sprite," said to be a point of "transcendence of Spirit over body and environment," "inexhaustible soul resources," and "lightness of understanding." Rudhyar goes on to state that this degree is "the ability to perceive the hidden and creative spirit of natural phenomena," showing us how to glimpse the World Soul and become aware of the flow of "occult energy in its bountiful natural aspect."

Dr. Jones says this degree is one of "pure mastery of experience," and "possession of every richness of outer reality in a highly imaginative or personal form." We are told this symbolizes "pure integrity of self" as a protection against "blind or inept participation" in events, where "spontaneity is demanded as a necessary quickening to values.

He offers us the keyword of RESTLESSNESS, and we are told that when positive, this shows "an exceptional sensitiveness to over-all implications and high skill in avoiding drab or commonplace involvements." Thus it would seem that our spontaneity can lead us to heightened sensitivity to the natural world, as well as a mastery in shaping our individual responses to higher duties and responsibilities.

The stellium at 26 Capricorn shows that the Eclipse will definitely release dynamic energies for those with planets between 22 and 30 degrees of Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn. At the same time, it will definitely benefit those with planets between 22-30 Taurus, Cancer, Virgo, Scorpio, Capricorn, and Pisces, as well as planets or points around 6-10 Aries, 12-16 Taurus, 6-10 Libra, and 12-16 Scorpio.

This Eclipse is notable in the lack of significant aspects to the Lunation, which makes only a semisextile to Neptune and a quadranovile to Mars. Thus the late Capricorn stellium is somewhat of a "standalone" energy, with other planets in the Eclipse chart more significant in how this event will express.

The overall pattern is also notable in that it is a See Saw Jones pattern, but without an opposition to anchor the line of polarity. The overall placing is all the planets except Mars and Saturn are bundled between 4 Capricorn to 24 Pisces. Only Mars and Saturn are outside the bundle at 16 Leo retrograde and 5 Libra stationary retrograde respectively.

When computing aspects, in Eclipse charts the separating aspects show things in the past, while forming aspects show things to come. There are three major forming aspects defining this Eclipse chart. The first is the long wave subtle but powerful Uranus binovile Pluto. The second is the ongoing Mercury stationary direct conjunct Pluto both square Saturn. The third is the very powerful Mars retrograde septile Saturn. The last two factors will define the turning points in how this Eclipse manifests.

Uranus binovile Pluto is a completely spiritual influence where many dualities will be resolved through a common base of understanding. It also shows that many will move away from their familiar base of operations in order to build a new world.

The squares from Capricorn to Libra will help us resolve some old conflict and finish some things so we can gain entrance to a wider sphere of experience. We will continue to experience energies of "greatness calling its own to itself," where we can put our Truth to the test of effective organized activity to achieve a greater ideal.

These times are about coming out of drifting into focus, letting go of corrosive or divertive relationships and ideals, and finding a self-organizing balance and perspective to achieve a greater initiative, autonomy, and ability to care for what really matters. Due to Mercury's influence, the next 45 months will definitely require a broader point of view, more fair, just, and balanced interpretations, and seeing the core of things to strip away superficialities and glamorous assumptions. It will certainly end old illusions of control.

Also, since Mercury is in the Capricorn zone of the Grand Irrationality, it makes this Eclipse influence subject to being triggered every time any planet moves through those 7 "hot zones" of forks in the road, where irrational or obsessive-compulsive factors may come forth from any number of sources. You can find more about the Grand Irrationality at work during this time in the article Spiritual Astrology in December 2009 and January-February 2010 part 1 - The Grand Irrationality and Forks in the Road for All Signs - An Overview with more information about how it affects each sign at Spiritual Astrology in December 2009 and January-February 2010 part 2 - The Grand Irrationality and When It Will Be Set Into Motion For Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, and Pisces.

Now we turn to the BIG Kahuna driving this Eclipse chart, the Mars RX septile Saturn stationary RX. These show that major new beginnings are on the way for those who have prepared, even if it didn't seem like they were preparing. New groups are being formed (if somewhat slowly and in a roundabout manner thanks to Mars RX), and what will end over the next 45 months will start being replaced with new ways of acting creatively or in a wholehearted ways beginning May 2010.

Saturn is the ruler of the eclipse, since it rules Capricorn. With Venus also in Capricorn, there is a "mutual reception" formed, a very powerful self-reinforcing situation. Saturn is going retrograde, showing a threshold state that will be much more solid by the time it next transits this degree in early September 2010.

Whatever lessons are symbolized by Saturn will naturally be boosted, confronted, or acted upon during the first and second weeks of August when Mars transits the Saturn point of the Eclipse. That will be when things really begin to move forward dramatically into the new ideal that began to take shape beginning October 2009 that will be seen in a different light between now and early April 2010.

The Mars and Saturn of the Eclipse will most affect those with chart planets and points at 14-16 Leo, 5-7 Libra, 26-28 Scorpio, 18-20 Capricorn, 9-11 Pisces, 1-3 Taurus, and 22-24 Gemini. These are zones where some weird, peculiar, or compulsive stuff is likely to come forth. If you have a planet or point in one of these zones (or within a degree either way), then those parts of your life influenced by those planets will hit major forks in the road, where your choices will move you into whatever destiny those choices determine.

Particularly dynamic releases, conflicts, turning points, and challenges will come to those with planets in early Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn, since those groups are most affected by conjunctions, squares, or oppositions to the Mercury-Saturn-Pluto squares. These are people born late March, late June, late September, and late December of any year.

Generations most affected by the Saturn square Pluto are those born late 1929 to late 1930, mid-1937, early 1938, late 1942 to late 1945, mid-1949 to mid-1952, 1959, early 1967 to early 1968, Autumn 1968 to Autumn 1970, mid-1973 to late 1974, mid-1975, mid-1980 to Summer 1981, Spring 1984, 1985-1990, and early 1996 to early 1997.

Also, remember that any part of the world with any of the above mentioned degrees on an angle at the time of the eclipse will probably experience its effects in dramatic fashion. Since Central Europe, South India, and the area around Canberra Australia all have eclipse ascendants in the above "irrational" zones, expect some fairly dramatic choices and changes that shift the direction of "destiny" in those places. Also anywhere that has early Aries, Cancer, Libra, or Capricorn will also show very powerful changes in the next 45 months.

This of course is just another in a long series of Solar Eclipses affecting all of humanity for years. If you want to know more of influences still in effect, by all means go back into the archives for numerous articles on the Solar Eclipses of 2007, 2008, and 2009, since they're all still being triggered several times a year.

If I can compose something on the effects for each individual sign, I'll post it. Otherwise, I have articles on other subjects to do, as well as get ready for the California speaking tour. In any case, enjoy researching the links I gave you in this article, and you should have a lot to chew on regarding this annular Solar Eclipse.

I had a hunch that maybe the Solar Eclipse might be connected to Haiti through
Haumea and the dwarf planet candidate/plutino 2003 AZ84

Haiti
Jan 1, 1804
using noon

Sun in 10'09 Capricorn
conjunct Haumea in 10'52 Capricorn
square Orcus in 10'31 Capricorn

Mercury in 18'11 Capricorn
square Varuna in 19'08 Libra

Jupiter in 2'10 Scorpio
square Eris in 2'06 Aquarius

In Right Ascension:
Sun in 11'03 Capricorn
conjunct Haumea in 11'03 Capricorn
trine 2003 AZ84 in 11'06 Virgo

The Solar Eclipse

2003 AZ84 in 24'39 Cancer
oppose Solar Eclipse in 25'01 Capricorn
oppose Venus in 25'50 Capricorn

In Right Ascension:
Haumea in 26'48 Libra
square Sun in 26'57 Capricorn
square Moon in 26'53 Capricorn
square Venus in 28'00 Capricorn

I can't helping thinking that the Solar Eclipse square Haumea, Solar Eclipse
oppose AZ84 has a connection with Haiti

2003 AZ84 was discovered on January 13, 2003. Today is the 7th year anniversary
of its discovery, and the earthquake in Haiti happened the day before the
anniversary. Saturn is now stationary retrograde.
Haumea goes stationary retrograde the day after the Solar Eclipse

If it's gonna affect one of us it's gonna be me. I read the articles above and don't see any changes with this 6 wk prior thinking. These are my late cardinals:

Venus @ 25 Capricorn
Nodes @ 21 Cancer / Capricorn
Moon @ 27 Capricorn
Saturn @ 21 Libra
Pluto @ 26 Libra
MC/IC @ 25 Aries / Libra

My advice:
Relax.
If something or someone falls away then that's what it's meant to do. If it's something that's not working, even if you hate going through the change, be happy to get rid of the excess BS.

Lonake,

I am curious about 2003 AZ84 hitting your stuff.

Oh Raymond, look at you throwing funny letters and numbers my way!

Hmm, how do I find it in the chart,

transiting AZ84 is already hitting your stuff , its opposing the Solar Eclipse

you can calculate it here
I love this page
http://www.true-node.com/eph1/

I will be glad when astronomers start naming the other big transneptunian objects. the largest object in our solar system that is unnamed is 2007 OR10,nicknamed "Snow White". That sucker is between the size of transneptunian dwarf planet candidates, Sedna and Quaoar.

with it being plutino, 2003 AZ84 will be given the name of an underworld character in mythology

The Solar Eclipse is aspecting another transneptunian dwarf planet candidate

It is trine 2007 UK126

2007 UK126

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2007_UK126

Here is his blog entry on the latest discovered transneptunian dwarf planet candidate

Another Pesky Planet Pops Up
January 13, 2010

First, let’s back track a bit. The object recently discussed in A Planet of a Planet, 2009 YE7, evidently underwent great scrutiny as its orbital parameters, particularly absolute magnitude, now stands revised. As Mike Brown suggested based upon his observations of brightness, this body, while in the top fifty of size in the Kuiper Belt, no longer ranks in the top ten. While remaining notable by size and singular by origin – being one of the offspring of Haumea, this object may or may not claim dwarf planet status. That seems to depend upon who calls the defining shot. In my book, this is going to be an object to include. Though I’ve found no official confirmation of Mike Brown’s speculation about this body’s origin, recent changes seem to the data seem to suggest his theory is correct.

So, if you’re thinking we dodged another dwarf planet bullet, you’re incorrect. While I carefully watched daily posting for 2009 YE7, another dwarf planet slipped by my radar.

The Kuiper Body formerly known as 2007 UK126 received orbital refinement and an official small solar system body number: 229762. This highly inclined, moderately eccentric object stands out as a Scattered Disk Object. It ranges out to 108.5 Astronomical Units in space when most separated from the Sun, more than twice as far as Pluto’s most-distant retreat from the Sun. It possesses an orbital period of 630.47 years, now passing by the 27th degree of Taurus.

Evidently people have been missing the messages of Sedna’s north node in Leo and perihelion in Cancer. So we find this body reiterating those themes, and like Sedna, now travels through Taurus. While in different heliocentric degrees of those signs, 229762’s node is 11 Leo 04 (heliocentric) and the perihelion is 27 Cancer 16 (again heliocentric). The urgency of self preservation and acquisition of primal life needs precedes a necessary unfoldment of the self that extricates itself from ego as to support soulful development.

Yesterday a client mentioned that it’s too much “all about me” out there. From the material bonus demands of bank executives who think quite highly of the skill they applied to damn near crash the world economy to the “look at me, be my friend” pleas of users of social networking sites, my client’s observation seems to be true.

The consciousness behind naming bodies more distant than Pluto encourages selecting a name that implies resurrection, recreation or creation. These bodies suggest what one can pursue as a lodestone cause and act as a lighthouse of consciousness development as they urge human evolution toward enlightenment. Does this mean that people can miss the message of these planets? Sure. Any person at any time can choose to explore less than ideal manifestations of a body. Still, the guideposts are there, offering support for those who chose to engage them.

Hmm. Here’s a question: Is life more convoluted and difficult to untangle for those choosing to ignore the new planetary discoveries? Obviously that rhetorical shall require a few years to define as fact or fiction. No matter. I want to cast my vote in the never to be posted opinion poll that is exactly what happens.

Planets are pesky only when ignored or applied in a non-evolving manner. Sure all transits provide their surprise package of challenges. But if one works with the ongoing and expanding awareness of the solar system’s contents, later when the impact of these bodies becomes accepted by status quo delineation, one may avoid the feeling of being overwhelmed by the shower of goodies from the great planetary piñata in the sky. http://matrixpsedgwick.wordpress.com/
