What does it mean if pluto opposes my sun/moon midpoint?I seen Glaucus mention it in another thread and just curious what it could mean. ------------------ •' •.♥♫♫´°°♫ • Life is Beautiful •.♥.•♫°°´♫♫ ♥ • IP: Logged |

Thanks GlaucusI just found something also.. But it doesnt allow me to paste from the page, but its claiming any heavy transits to the sun/moon represents a time when relationships and marriage are jarred. http://www.astrologyoz.com/articles/Sun%20moon%20midpoint%20Noel%20Tyl.htm IP: Logged |

Here Noel Tyl claims it means marriage. http://www.cafeastrology.com/astrologytopics/predictingloverelationships.html
quote: In late 2006, we find transiting Pluto activating the Sun/Moon midpoint by opposition. Because Pluto is slow-moving, this activation will last some time before and after this date. However, in late 2006, Jupiter will be forming a transiting trine to Moon (she had Jupiter transiting sextile to her Moon above), and Uranus transiting sesquiquadrate to her South Node. This looks interesting, so we turned to Solar Arc Directions for that time period, finding that her Solar Arc Descendant will be forming a sesquiquadrate to her Sun/Moon midpoint; Solar Arc Jupiter conjunct her natal Descendant; Solar Arc Pluto conjunct her natal South Node; and Solar Arc Saturn sesquiquadrate her natal Descendant. This looks to be a significant time when she might meet someone and fall in love (Jupiter transiting trine to the ruler of her natal 5th house, the Moon). If we look further, we find that in mid-2007, transiting Pluto will still be transiting opposite her Sun/Moon midpoint (and square her Sun and Moon). Additionally, we find transiting Saturn conjunct her natal Venus! This suggests a commitment-friendly time. We might guess that she would meet someone and fall in love in late 2006, and then make a commitment to that person by mid-August of 2007.

Yep....I read Noel Tyl's stuff before. He seems a bit negative about Saturn and Neptune when involved in midpoint pictures. He's like Reinhold Ebertin in that way. I am already having transiting Pluto conjunct my Sun/Moon midpoint, and I am going to have it a few more times too. I already had it last year too. It's from transiting Pluto forming a minor grand trine to my Sun in Scorpio in 3rd trine Moon in Pisces in 7th. That is using whole sign house system. Transiting Saturn goes retrograde on January 13th,and it will go back to squaring my Sun/Moon midpoint. I don't think Saturn aspecting Sun/Moon midpoint is necessarily bad. It could indicate structure, discipline, patience when it comes to relationships, marriage. It could be a relationship that involves a significant age difference. It could be a relationship that involves a Saturnian type of person. This is very likely with my Moon square Saturn, Venus contraparallel Saturn, and both 7th house rulers, Jupiter and Neptune oppose Saturn. Solar Arc Mars has been squaring my Sun/Moon midpoint too. Transiting Jupiter will be squaring my Sun/Moon midpoint this year too. Raymond

Ahh yes, cant wait till jupiter touches my DC. Solar arc aspects were active during the 1st time i got married. But no transits. I looked up all my good and bad or significant times it doesnt seem to show up anywhere important. My natal mars is exactly conjunct my sun/moon. That cant be too great. Maybe thats why i have a temper and lots of energy.

I have this Solar Arc now, and no marriage... it's conjunct the Sun/Venus mp as well. I did push someone away, after something happened - they were too late (their own fault), otherwise I wouldn't be getting married, but I might have someone in my life (mine is the conjunction, that falls in my 1st house and opposed the mp in my 7th).I also found that I have SA Saturn conjunct my MC in Leo, squaring Juno in my 7th (tightly - still applying), and I think Venus was applying in SA square to Jupiter and Pluto. Secondary progressed Venus did that four years ago, and is now conjunct my Saturn. IP: Logged |
