Since Leo is sandwiched between Cancer and Virgo, she might just have planets like Mercury or Venus in those signs.

ETA: May have Saturn conjunct sun. Or moon in Capricorn or Cancer or Virgo.

Astrology is more than the sun sign.

Oh c'mon, there are plenty of shy and quiet Leo Suns, myself included. I think what makes me shy and very cautious, (especially when I was younger) are the three retrogrades in my first house and Saturn is the closet to my ASC. but it doesn't conjunct the ASC. luckily! I also have Pisces moon, which definitely is in conflict with such a showy sign like Leo, plus my Leo sun is in the 8th house and square natal Pluto,
also I think Leo Suns born closer to the Virgo cusp, sometimes seem more like Virgos than Leos in a lot of ways.

She might have Mercury closely related to Saturn in her chart. I have the conjunction and it can slow down my speech and my movement from time to time, but I have it in Aries which speeds up my Mercury as well.

I have an ex-boyfriend who has Mercury-Saturn conjunction in Aquarius and he does things slower than me but he is quite methodic and is a certified genius.

I believe Mercury/Saturn (conjunct/trine) is supposed to be a "genius aspect" - but I wonder if a negative aspect mitigates or even reverses the effect.
