i just unearthed an old book from a box that had been at someone else's house... at the very bottom found my copy of alan leo's "astrology for all"...don't know if anyone here is familiar with alan leo, but i think the first reference i came across to him was in one of linda's bibliographies of suggested reading. alan oken also referred to him in one of the first books i ever studied on the subject. leo died in 1917. so no pluto in his subject at all! which is strange, but very educational. in the appendices there is a list of each degree of the zodiac with a kind of snapshot of its import. these are not sabian symbols, but predate them (i THINK!?) and for the most part they capture the essence of these points in a half dozen words...has anyone else come across these? wondering if anyone has studied them at all for accuracy? the ones i have looked up are astoundingly apt. i am hoping to find time to type them in here, tho if anyone has located them online it would save me a lot of finger workout.. Wow, How cool!!I want to hear some of them. I can't think of any planets exvept my sun, which is 3* aqua, if you want to do it. Otherwise, doing the eclipse degree of 25 cap would be good! IP: Logged |

That sounds great! Thanks!I wonder where your jupiter is. Finding this book seems like maybe 12th house, or 9th, maybe 3rd. Wonder if it's in one of those houses. IP: Logged |
