I've noticed that as I've grown older I seem to form strong bonds with others very quickly. By "strong bond" I mean we become inseparable.

Even when I come across a stranger, they have one of two reactions: (1) They are very nurturing towards me and put me on a pedestal (2) They automatically respect me and appear intimidated.

What aspects in my chart indicate this ability to form strong bonds and get strong reactions from people?

Astra!
I have the EXACT same experience with people
I too am a Capricorn rising with Saturn and Pluto in the 10th (+ Mars), with uranus in the 11th and neptune in the 12th

I'll say its the Capricorn ascendent with Saturn and Pluto in the 10th for us!

astra,

It sounds like it may have more to do with your progressed chart -- most likely progressed AC, since it happened as you got older, but it could be progressed sun, etc. I wonder if it happened when/if your p.AC went into aqua. I also wonder where your p.Sun is. If you post your progressed chart i will take a look. If you do, can you post just the progressed chart and not natal + progressed? I find it easier to comaper that way.

Electric--

It's really rude to hijack threads the way you are doing. This is the 2nd one I've seen today.

diana. sorry if you feel offended or bothered by my "hijacking" of threads.

however, you've proven my point. You too are having a "strong reaction" to me...as does pretty much every other person I encounter (I'm sure Astra can relate).

If you notice i posted my chart to show how similar my chart is to Astra's and that I have the same experience as does Astra.

Both my chart and Astra's have saturn, uranus, neptune and pluto in the same houses. both have the ruler of the asendent (saturn in scorpio) in the 10th house which represents public image and the role one plays in society, or even the role others perceive that one plays. Our midheavens are almost exactly conjunct. (less than a degree orb!) so it seems that our roles in society (and our private selves) manifest in very similar ways.

Pluto in the `0th house is generally interpreted as a placement of people who are viewed as powerful in society or eventually garner some type of power in their community or society.

perhaps people see us as powerful figures or figures who harness a lot of power over their environment...dependable and stable people who are deliberate and exacting in their intentions (scorpio/capricorn energy combo)

and since our ascendants are within degrees of each other, our progressed ascendants travel and very similar path.

i would say that the capricorn ascendant with pluto and saturn in the 10th is the "culprit". the ascendant being people's'immediate perception of us colored strongly by the 10th house energies mentioned above.

astra, i hope this helps.

If you hadn't posted your chart in savannah's thread I wouldn't have said anything. In her thread, it's about the eclipse in the 7th house and you posted your chart. Your 7th house isn't in cap. I think it's rude.

And don't flatter yourself. The strong reaction isn't because of your power, it's because of your rudeness. I would've done it even if you had venus on your angle.

Like I said, it's the 2nd time today you did it and the other one didn't even relate to that person's topic.

PS-- You say i proved your point -- but your point is different than the OP's. She listed two -- They want to nurture her OR they are intimidated and feel respect. I felt neither one nor two of the OP's reactions from people. So, you proved my point that you hijacked and you don't have the same reaction she has. Either you haven't developed the energy the same way she has or your progressed chart is totally different.

diana. go back to savanna's thread
i haven't posted anything in that thread.
it would be eskimono that you are talking about...

secondly if you read what i said you would realize that i am talking about people's "perception" which isn't necessarily "reality"

Diana,

I really do appreciate your defending my thread from being hijacked, but honestly I am not offended by electricmind posting her chart. Although electricmind did post a chart, she didn't post a question about her chart, which I would consider hijacking a thread. That's my own personal opinion, of course. Anyway, below is my progressed chart. Thank you again for your help!

Electricmind,

That's amazing that we have such similar placements! Yes, I think it's possible that cap rising and the saturn/pluto placements are the culprit. I just find it uncomfortable when employers give me tons of responsibility when I haven't done anything to earn their trust.

Since Electricmind posted her chart, I noticed that both of you have Pluto conjunct your MC. Could be it.

Edit: Astra I saw your Progressed chart and Saturn is conjunct your MC now. Saturn does command respect, especially in career situations.

Hi Astra,
I too have Saturn (chart ruler) conjunct Pluto on the MC. I know what you're meaning.
Intuitively, it's like cutting through the chase. . it's all or nothing.

That placement of Pluto at your MCs are what's doing the trick (Pluto = strong bonding and reactions) and (MC = how the public or professional contacts view you)

Hi Popcorn,
I think you're right - but I am not proficient in progressions as you mentioned. So I was just speaking of my experiences with (somewhat) the same placements.

When I was younger, I did not have so much reactions/bonds, and they were of much lighter intensity; I took it to mean I was not realising my potential, and for the outer planets like saturn and pluto, at a certain stage it represents your early upbringing, but after a certain stage (maybe when natal saturn is activated by certain transits), it comes on stronger

Fleurdelis. My Son have as you MC conj his pluto in scorpio. He born 9 feb 1984.
MC conj pluto in scorpio for me show your capasity to work hard. You are not afraid to challange the danger in your life. You have the ability to go far in your life if you use your capacity. You are not afraid.

Hi Popcorn,
I agree that MC conjunct Pluto in Scorpio adds alot of fearlessness in the direction. I think people may be afraid of them instead of the other way around...

Having Saturn there, is an impediment though - alot of delays. Pluto also influences the job description of the person, maybe?

My Mc, Saturn, Pluto are in libra, however, not scorpio

I suspect strong transneptunian energy
it could involve Pluto's named fellow plutinos (2:3 orbital resonance with Neptune) Orcus,Ixion, and Huya. Orcus,Ixion, and Huya are similar to Pluto astrologically as they are similar astronomically.

You do have Mars oppose/conjunct the heliocentric Orcus Nodes (a collective Orcus influence) within 1 degree.

with the nurturing emphasis, I'd check the dwarf planet,Ceres......it could be connected to the transneptunians

besides that

I couldn't help noticing that your Venus happens to oppose/conjunct the heliocentric Chiron Nodes (a collective Chirotic influence)within 1 degree

Your Sun seems to be conjunct the Geocentric North Uranus Node (a collective Uranian influence)within 1 degree
