Geoffrey Dean is very fascinating to me. He was a professional astrologer who has turned into critic of Astrology.

Dr Geoffrey Dean. Co-compiler with Arthur Mather of the book Recent Advances in Natal Astrology: A Critical Review 1900-1976. Since 1974 he has conducted large-scale studies of astrology, and has authored or co-authored many critical articles, debates, surveys, and prize competitions for research into astrology. He has been a full-time astrologer and was the founding president of the Federation of Australian Astrologers in Western Australia. Noted for his humorous lectures profusely illustrated with slides. In 1988 he received a Commemorative Bi-Centennial Award from the Astrological Monthly Review (Australia) for his contributions to astrological research. In 2003 he was elected a CSICOP Fellow for significant contributions to science and skepticism. In 2005 the November issue of AMR was dedicated to Dean, a "researcher who is brave enough to ask awkward questions". He is a British freelance technical writer and editor living in Perth, Western Australia. http://www.rudolfhsmit.nl/u-biog2.htm

British-Australian astrologer, a Ph.D, analytical chemist and a sci-fi writer. He compiled a scholarly work "Recent Advances in Natal Astrology: A Critical Review 1900-1976."

Personable and a charming speaker, for years he lied about his own data, giving out December 25, 1944, 5:00 AM AST, Perth, West Australia, apparently amused that astrologers would then tell him bits of delineation about "his chart."

Relationships

* sibling relationship with Dean, John Douglas (born 30 December 1935)

Source Notes

B.C. in hand from Charles Harvey. The time is on his birth records as Geoffrey was the second of twins. His twin, John, was born 11 hours earlier and died at one month.

I couldn’t help noticing that his Saturn is in a Gauquelin Sector common in scientists

His t-square of apex Jupiter square Moon-Neptune opposition seems like a challenge involving belief systems and whether to believe in them or not........possible confusion, deception

In Right Ascension
Jupiter in 9’55 Sagittarius square the conjunction of Moon in 11’58 Pisces and Saturn in 8’16 Pisces can also indicate challenge involving belief systems and whether to believe in them or not......but can be more of a skeptic, practical

His Moon
squares North Geocentric Uranus Node in 12’25 Gemini

His Midheaven
squares South Geocentric Uranus Node in 14’50 Sagittarius

both Moon and Midheaven
squares Heliocentric Uranus Nodes in 13’40 Gemini/Sagittarius

the aspects are strong collective Uranus influence.....good for Astrology and Science

His Mercury
oppose/conjunct Heliocentric Pluto Nodes in 19’37 Cancer/Capricorn
conjunct South Geocentric Pluto Node in 19’07 Capricorn
oppose North Geocentric Pluto Node in 19’43 Cancer

The aspects are strong collective Pluto influence. these aspects are good for investigations, research due to having a penetrating mind.

His Mercury is OUT OF BOUNDS with it being 24’08 North in declinations.
so it can be unharnessed mental energy that can be be unpredictable, run wild
