I'm not very good at composites (and prefer synastry) but a friend asked me to take a look at their composite (and transits) chart and I thought someone here could offer far better insight than me.

What do you think? All insights welcome. Thank you. Birth times are accurate.

hmmmm

Transit neptune is trine composite venus right now and venus and pluto are conjunct in 3rd.

Saturn in 1st could mean a stable and long term friendship/affair?

Not the best composite as per Equal House System, but they just might get very rich together with Jupiter in 5th and Sun in 2nd.

Core issue is Self-Expression as a couple.
Sex ought to be great, Mars conj NN 1st H.
Settling down could be a major challenge with Uranus in 3rd and Neptune in 4th.

Moon 12th Cancer is a karmic, emotional binder. A bit clingy, but very romantic.

Ruler of 9th conjunct NN - this is probably meant to be a friendship-connection, with the possibility and maybe even need to expand each others horizon.

The square to Neptune in 5th house as ruler of the 8th house could mean that there is a conflict. Maybe they are striving to be friends on the one hand, but on the other hand they also feel or sense intuitively that they might be great romantically together.
Neptune in 5th house can also mean somewhat rosecoloured glasses, or it relates to an almost platonic romanticism, whcih seems to be a contradiction in itself.

If the 5th house is not about romance, there could be some karma related to children,t oo.

Interstingly, the ruler of 5th house falls into 6th house and opposes Moon in Cancer in 12th house. I agree that this is a potentially spiritual and emotionally karmic connection, but it doesn´t look like an allconsuming erotic passion.

ASC ruler is in Virgo in 2nd house - it seems to be more about the feeling of worthiness and security than about romance.

The ruler of MC in 3rd house looks like a pretty analytical placement, too.
ruler of IC is also in 3rd house. Are they brother and sister? lol just kidding

Uranus is shaking up the foundation of that relationship, being in the 4th house and squaring ASC. So it seems to be a core-purpose of this relationship to change.
Uranus rules the DESC and is in 4th house - which might imply that this is indeed a deep relationship, but that it is very unusual, not easily to understand, and there is a need to "fluctuate". Maybe being torn apart between great sense of security (Saturn trine MC, ruler of ASC in Virgo in 2nd house) and those changes and ruptures that seem to invade the relationship from outside, but strike to the core of it? (uranus, as ruler of DESC in 4th house, square ASC).

Or I could be COMPLETELY wrong.

makes sense to me DD. the aqua DSC was the first thing i saw, plus neptune in 5 could mean a lot of illusions around love affairs that will ultimately end up being an on-off relationship? though aquas can commit they do need their space, ditto an aqua partnership..

DD, what would NN in 6th opposing neptune in 12th exact mean please? Would it be secret deception from the past?

Lara,

maybe.

But my first idea was that Neptune conjunct SN in 12th house might indicate a very spiritual relationship in the past, that now has to focus more on everyday tasks. Maybe those people were in the past spiritually in tune, but for some reason their relationship had to be a secret, platonic or there may not even have been one, at least not a physically consumed one (of course deception is also a possibility) and now the NN in 6th house seems to indicate that they should learn or focus on sharing a common space with each other, maybe as workmates, or even in a relationship. But you have to consider the other planets as well.

Katatonic,

I am glad you can see it, too. Yes, Aquas can be committed. But in their own original way.

Hmm.. maybe i was under the wrong impression this whole time, but doesn't a planet in the 12th house composite represent something that is hidden? With the Moon there it would mean that neither of them knows exactly how the other one feels in the relationship?

Or maybe it's that THEY know how they feel about each other, but they kept it hidden from the rest of the world?...

At any rate, Moon IS in Cancer, and very strong in a receptive house. That alone tells me that this relationship evokes sensitivity and maybe even great pain and stress.

Mercury is at home in Virgo as well. Great mental connection. Wonderful conversations.

Interesting also how Venus is dominant in Libra- a charming, attractive, beautiful, loving sign- AND is conjunct Pluto.

AND Chiron is conjunct MC. AND Sun is in the second house-- maybe a focus on security? Financially convenient? Or just plain sensual, sexual and possessive in a Taurean way!

I'm beginning to think that maybe these two want to be together but perhaps there are conflicts with their occupations... or there is some sort of problem they face by being out in the open with their relationship...

Help us out, PA, what's the story? Are we close, or way off?

Meta,

"Or just plain sensual, sexual and possessive in a Taurean way!"
That is an important thing you mention. Taurus / 2nd house is not only about security, but can be also about sensuality.

can i ask you sth?i always wondered about our composite neptune and uranus being in the 4th.

i dont know if use equal or not,but if equal, our C.Jup cj IC of 4th passes into our 3rd and our pluto/Saturn of 3rd passes into the 2d.

i believe that if equal is better,it shows benefic surroundings but probably delays or transformation in the financial area?

what is best to use?or is more accurate?

About our neptune and uranus:

-Uranus rules our 6th,and trines Moon7Th,sextiles merc/mars(2nd) and oposes Kiron

-NEptune rules our Dsc.sextiles pluto,trines ASC.but squares sun(1st)(5º)

URANUS is about instability and unpredictability and neptune about illusions, spiritualism and idealism.

So if in the 4th might show those traits in what we conceive our 4th of relationship to be?

DD,

Yes, i think that most people forget that the 2nd house is ruled by TAURUS. I have been guilty of that myself. I sometimes view the 2nd house as more Saturn-y just because of the financial matters it takes into account.

I've never experienced a 2nd house Sun though-- have you? What's it like: Saturn-y or Venus-y?

Meta,

I am always kinda "disappointed", if I find someone`s planets in the 2nd house, and more so in the 6th house.

But it is kind of stupid, I have a huge 2nd house, from 12 Capricorn to 26 Aquarius in Placidus. My Moon is there.

If I use equal, it starts with 7 Capricorn, and my Venus is on 6 Cappy.

Actually, if think about it, I have the utmost respect for Cappy - Suns. Actually it is bording some kind of "awe", which I totally hate and will struggle against.

But it is true, even more than in the 5th house, Sun, Moon, Venus and Mars here, will give me a feeling of inner security as well as trigger my sensuality. Very physical, but in a slow sensual way. A little bit like a cat lying lazy in the Sun and just finding pleasure in purely existing.

It`s not passionate in a SCorpio or even Aries or Leo way, but it cuts really deep into the senses. It has to do with the sense of smell and taste, something I am usually not even aware of.
Until someone triggers my 2nd house.

It is materialistic in a way, as it has much to do with the body.

You can see it like this. The 2nd house is the opposite house from the 8th house - they are a "pair", they are a Venus-Pluto-pair actually, but in the Taurus-Scorpio sense (not the Libra-Scorpio sense as 7th and 8th house would be).

It`s bodyoriented, it is posessive. It`s like the ground beneath your feet and you will do anything to protect this ground from intruders. It`s the house were you say MINE.
Or rather, ONLY MINE.
It feels like your whole existence depends on this, if someone takes away this ground, he takes away your reason to exist.
That is why we associate security so much with it.

Ah I was getting carried away again I gues.

Diandra,

I don`t know what is better, equal or Placidus. Placidus fails in the polar regions completely, as MC and ASC can fall together, but I am used to Placidus and it seems to work with my interpretations.

Will equal work equally? Probably.
But I just don`t want to give up my Venus as ruler of 5th house.

Even though this resistance to give something up, could definitely be a stubborn Cappy Venus at the cusp of the 2nd house squaring Pluto in 11th house (in equal).

So no I do not know.

DD,

I specifically meant Sun in the 2nd in a composite, or if someone's Sun falls into your 2nd house?... not if someone has this natally.

But thank you for your description. Very insightful. I have a better understanding of it now from your point of view.

meta - especially in composites, the 12th can also indicate a need for alone time (together), for being spiritual together, sharing secrets kept from the rest of the world? - or sharing a past-life connection...as well as those readings you mentioned...

katatonic,

Oh wow! Thank you for explaining that. When you put it like that, the 12th house sounds very... appealing!

Everytime i've seen that in a composite of mine i've always had a Homer "D'Oh!" moment. LOL! I just figured the other person was keeping things from me... silly meta.

DD,

Sorry i misunderstood. So when someone's Sun is in your 2nd you feel disappointed? When you see this placement, or you just feel disappointed by them from the get-go?

Meta,

I think I am expressing myself a bit confusing at the moment.

I get disappointed, when I see that the 2nd house in a composite or synastric houses overlay is emphasised, cause everyone is telling me how boring that is, that it is all about material concerns, money etc. Things I do not care about that much, and it doesn`t seem so nice and pleasant for a relationship.

But then I remember again that the 2nd house has this other side, too, this sensual side I described.
So it really is not that bad, having his planets in your 2nd house and vice versa.
It is maybe not a very obvious attraction-placement, but definitely should not be underestimated.

meta: yes i love 12th house contacts. my FIRST house pisces moon does too!!

but i have done some composites with celebs - people i haven't met - that came out with a ton of 12th house stuff which just shouted at me - THIS IS AN IMAGINARY RELATIONSHIP! so your points ALSO fit 12th house placements...
