Hi all,

I read somewhere that when a personal planet of partner A conjunct south node of partner B it means that person B feels very comfortable but eventually outgrow the relationship. I am curious about this statement. My ex-partner (still love him though) has his 7th house ruler mercury in conjunction to my south node. Any thought?

thanks

my maternal grandfather's Moon was conjunct my maternal stepgrandmother's South Lunar Node less than half a degree. My grandfather was her first and only love. They met when he was 19,and she was 13. They got married 3 years later. They had 4 children together. My mother was my grandfather's oldest from a very brief relationship. They were together for 40 years until my grandfather's suicide exactly 12 years ago, stemming combination of depression, the long time effects of alcoholism, hepatitis C,cirrhosis of the liver.
They loved each other, and they were never tired of each other.

Contact to either Lunar Node could just mean a meeting, connection, relations, association
That's how Cosmobiologists and Uranian Astrologers view the Lunar Nodes.

Cosmobiologists and Uranian Astrologers refers to the whole Lunar Nodes axis as just the Node. They don't differentiate the aspects between the Nodes. They use the (=) for all aspects. Therefore, they don't differentiate the conjunction to a south lunar node from a conjunction to a north lunar node...nor from squares to the lunar nodes....not semisquares, sesquiquadrates.

another thing

The South Lunar Node is known by Vedic Astrologers as Ketu which they consider the planet associated with moksha, enlightenment, liberation, psychism, spirituality

so the interpretation of the South Lunar Node depends on the system, method of Astrology.

btw.....all objects have nodes. Not just the moon. the nodes are just the intersections of the planes of 2 objects. It's just that most astrologers ignore the nodes of the other objects. Minority of astologers use the planetary nodes and even nodes of other minor planets like Jeffrey Wolf Green, Pamela Rowe,Diana Rosenberg, Robert Blaschke,Roy MacKinnon. I definitely use them. Astronomers always record the nodes of objects they discover.

Raymond,

thanks for your thorough answer. there is some of your words that i finds confusing though

Contact to either Lunar Node could just mean a meeting, connection, relations, association
That's how Cosmobiologists and Uranian Astrologers view the Lunar Nodes.

does it mean a just casual encounter such as a meeting can be indicated through a conection to the node? I thought the node was more relevant.
