"What kind of astrology is that? I love how nature gets into it...the imagery is so powerful"
21st Century Astrology in my opinion
Modern Astrology, especially Psychological Astrology was based on the belief that Pluto was a planet. Pluto was discovered in 1930. Until the discovery of its Moon, Charon in 1978, Pluto was even thought to be as large as our Earth. That turned out to be false. It was found that Pluto was even much smaller than our Moon. In 1992, astronomers found that Pluto was not alone in the outer regions of the solar system. The Kuiper belt that was hypothesized by astronomer,Dr. Gerald Kuiper was confirmed. Soon after, they kept finding more and more transneptunian objects. They started finding big ones in 2000, and the debate against Pluto being a planet was stronger with each larger object discovered. Then finally in 2005, they found an object larger than Pluto. The can of worms that was already open, completely split with astronomers arguing among each other if Pluto was a planet or not. They forced to come up with definition for a planet, and even the definition was controversial. The dwarf planet criteria and Pluto's demotion were controversial. In 2006, the object that led to discord in the astronomical community,re-defining planetary criteria, controversy, and the demotion of Pluto was named Eris after the Greek Goddess of Discord.
IMHO The discoveries of the other big transneptunian objects and the discovery of Eris was the beginning of 21st Century Astrology which I believe is ruled by Eris.
Keywords for transneptunians by Philip Sedgwick who is one of the few astronomically oriented astrologers that specializes in transneptunians, centaurs. He also specializes in deep space objects,Heliocentric Astrology. His keywords aren't just based on the name's mythology but also the physical, orbital features of the object. He also gets insights from the sign of the Heliocentric North Node and the sign of Perihelion of the object during its discovery. http://www.philipsedgwick.com/
