To me, the 27 Club has always been a bunch of musicians (young stars) who died around their Saturn Return, I thought, but it seems like they have something else in common. All of these 27 year olds had just gone through their Progressed Lunar Return, which occurs a year before the Saturn Return. I just realized that I have just experienced my Progressed Lunar Return, and boy... I am glad to be alive! How did your Progressed Lunar Return treat you? Did you even notice it? If you're near your second Saturn Return, you should be near your second Progressed Lunar Return too. Here are my thoughts... The Progressed Lunar Return, being an emotional time, unravels a native at the seams and sends them to the depths or highs of the spirit. Things are unclear when so emotionally charged (good or bad) and depending on the kind of experience a native had on their Progressed Lunar Return, Saturn comes around a year later to put order into things, by either saving you from the negative emotional turmoils or thwarting your emotional high, by balancing things and bringing the native to reality. 'Just a thought and far from something I have researched, and so I would love to hear from you and of your experiences with this phenomenon. I am curious because a lot of people say Saturn Returns are hard, and some say that the Saturn Return went unnoticed. Could it be that it all depends on how the Progressed Lunar Return went? Thanks for your time. http://blog.beliefnet.com/astrologicalmusings/2009/05/the-27-club-and-the-progressed. html IP: Logged |

Yes, please do tell... I need to know myself because I should be hitting my progressed lunar return first and not too long after that will be my Saturn return. It's interesting that you should say that the progressed lunar return is rough. I was thinking that it would be the opposite since the moon is in it's native sign. You'd finally be able to function out of a feeling framework that is familiar to you. I was thinking I'd be happy that my progressed moon was moving into Aries because it's so out of it's element in Pisces (I've had a pretty rough time since it moved into Pisces, though at this point I've kind of reconciled it). hey enchantress - I don't know if it would be rough or not. I was just speculating, wondering if the conditions of the Progressed Lunar Return are the precursor to how the Saturn Return will be. E.g. If it was good, then Saturn Return becomes bad, and visa versa. (?)My Lunar Return was great, but soon after that, there was a total 180. But then, my Moon was touched by both eclipses (Lunar and Solar) so maybe that was the cause of the sudden change. Who knows. I don't know much about this phenomenon and I would really love to hear from those who went through it. IP: Logged |

What determines a "rough" Progressed Lunar Return? In my progressed chart, the Moon will oppose my progressed Venus and Jupiter (which will be conjunct) but since Venus and Jupiter are benefics it won't be that "bad." And my Moon is well aspected in my natal chart so once it makes its return it won't aspect anything in my natal chart negatively. So... yay??IP: Logged |

amowls* - Rough as in, not so good... below average... not so much fun... So far, I think this Progressed Lunar Return is a good thing generally. So, since you have the benefics in play too, it should be a spanking time you'll have. Nine - Yeah, I can definitely second that. It was a lovely time. It didn't last long though. Diana - it is when your progressed moon is in the same position as your natal moon. It happens every 27 years or so. *just to add, as far as orbs are concerned, the orb for mine, according to how long it lasted, was 2 degrees. about two months of fun* IP: Logged |

no idea my saturn return and all of the **** before it is a blur of drugs and other assorted dumb **** along with chronic health issuesit's pretty surprising i'm alive in retrospect because i'd take pretty much anything and everything that was in front of me no ***** given lot of nights doing **** like consciously forcing myself to breathe, trying to stay awake because of pins and needles and my heart and lungs barely cooperating that sensation of "if i pass out or go to sleep and can't force this i'm done" sort of thing lots of drug mixing, taking **** i found in the street etc and so on in the moment there were a lot of good times, high highs low lows but **** if i remember which year was what IP: Logged |

Lunar return in Gemini, happened when my BIL stayed here for a few months. He hit on me less than two months after it was exact. Venus was retrograde too, though, I think in Scorpio. IP: Logged |
