What do you personally do to heal when you have a broken heart?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated and desperately needed.Sorry not so much an Astrology thread so

Chakra healing and meditation, and overall nurturing of your body, so exercise more and eat less crap food.A personal example: A few weeks ago I did a group Chakra healing workshop and too release a lot of deep rooted issues in letting certain people go, but thanks to this workshop and understanding how to ground myself, all my past issues seem to have disappeared and I unintentionally met someone significant a few days after the workshop. Pain produces great art.
Do you write or paint or anything?
You would think that would be a bad time to be creative, but actually it's the opposite.So, that's what I do. Write alot. Watch some good remdemption movies. Cry, and cry some more, you know, get it OUT.
Spend some time outdoors or with children. something distracting that takes your all of your attention so you've none to give to the issue. Lastly, helping others is the best.
To find someone hurting more then yourself, and try and help them, is a very healing experience.

I've never had a broken heart but helped others with this situation. Wearing a rose quartz or drinking a rose quartz elixir can assist with healing the heart chakra. Reiki or spiritual healing is magnificent at dealing with emotional wounds. I agree with everything said.I can't help developing a strong belief in the power of crystals. The angel reader told me that the angels said that I should work with crystals because they would help me a great deal.
Rose quartz is said to be good for all matters of love.
I will tell you straight up that I cried a lot after Meghann broke up with me. Of course,I cried alone at home. I was constantly feeling sore in my heart literally, always missing her. She never contacted me again after she broke up with me. It was like I was dead to her. It's weird that I was recommended to a shaman healer for healingand he happens to have the same birthday as her. He is now my best friend!

All these are great! Nice to know about the rose quartz. I'm going to make myself a piece of jewelry. Gypseee's right, the best artistic creations come from this place of angst and pain. One thing that really worked for me was to talk and talk and talk about it. Embrace it, figure out what you learned from it...no matter how bad the situation was or how much it hurt you, you learned from it...and hopefully you are a better person today because of it. Like the person you are now and realise that you wouldn't be that person without all of your past experiences, including that relationship and breakup.Sorry, broken hearts are hard..it's so easy to look back after time's went on and see the good in it but it's not easy at the time you're going through it...it all takes time. That is interesting, recently I had the exact same thing happen, she was a Capricorn as well. The current location of Pluto as well as the recent (and upcoming) eclipses make Capricorn a volatile sign in these times I suppose.The only way out that I have found is to go through the fire, figuratively speaking. I have embraced the rage and turned it inward with the energy of Mars, currently retrograde through Leo. In my opinion, the emotions must be burned and destroyed so that new life can grow, hopefully when Mars turns direct soon. In times like these I chalk it up to Karma, obviously there is something that I needed out of this although it is hard to see exactly what. I suppose to come away with nothing is a sure loss, so at the very least if I can seek a lesson out of it, then it has not been a total waste. Best of luck, try to meditate and run through the emotional range. It is unpleasant at the time but you will come out so much stronger on the other side. IP: Logged |

WOW I LOVE the info I didn't know all this and it ALL MUST BE TRUE I have always been lucky in love I have Rose Quartz all over my room because the pink is so pretty I bought a ring in Thailand and the guy I bought it from said that I have to wash it or soak it every full moon or something I don't remember and I couldn't understand the English he spoke. Yep, you are supposed to recharge crystals and stones like this. You can do it several ways, sunlight, moonlight, water.Depends on the stone and what you use it for.

Fall apart within, have a good cry and then pick yourself up and get back on that horse. Focus on your life and start doing the things that make you happy. Get involved in a new hobby or take a class or join a group. Live your life to the fullest and be comfortable in your own company.It broke my heart having my baby taken by CPS. I ended up in hospital due to a bad anxiety attack of having her taken. For 2 weeks I felt like a zombie and then I started doing the things I enjoy and found my usual self was starting to return. Now 2 months later I'm back to my usual self and next month may just see the return on my baby. IP: Logged |

I know this is SO TRUE cause I have seen this in my life from time to time. I'd get depressed and down in the dumps and then I notice my creativity skyrockets! Thank you so much everyone for the wonderful advice and suggestions. I've been doing Yoga, reading spiritual books, and purge crying. It always feels so good after a cry.
