hmmmm.. it's exact for the next few hours and i've been feeling much readiness to deal with my ptsd of late. i haven't met my councellor yet and can go in any time for my intake, and was thinking of going in this afternoon. i'm trying to figure out if this transit would be supportive or potentially too painful? i have a lot of harsh crap to dredge up. thoughts?

I'd say that the transit would be in synchronicity with emotional healing support. a trine is easy aspect. Therefore, emotions and dealing with painful issues will be in harmony with each other.

thanks glaucus. so interesting how we can feel these energies, hey? i've been wanting to go all morning (and i put it off for YEARS -since some extremely traumatic events 5 years ago), and i checked the chart, and, voila!

yeah i suppose with jupiter as my chart ruler i really should be seeing the positive side of chiron!

is transiting Chiron doing anything to your chart?

how big an orb for transiting chiron would you use? 3 deg? if so, it's currently on my vesta exact, conjunct my ceres by 2, sextile venus and AC.. a couple of squares, but they are at 5 deg orbs.

I don't feel comfortable using no more than 1 degree orb for a Chiron transit

Transiting Chiron on your Vesta exact seems significant

here is an interpretation of Chiron conjunct Vesta and Ceres in natal, but it could be useful for transit, solar arc, secondary progression

Chiron conjunct Vesta
Your healing issues and path of initiation will most likely revolve around your spirituality, sexuality and devotion. You may be inclined to forego a committed relationship, preferring to dedicate your life energies to a spiritual path of healing. You are passionately committed to your role as keeper of the flame, whether it be the flame of the altar or the hearth. Self-healing is a journey of awakening for you.

Chiron conjunct Ceres
Your healing and path of initiation are based on a deep, mystical connection with the Earth and nature. Nurturing and nourishing are the major issues of your self-healing; your sense of wounding may revolve around separation from your mother or some equivalent. You must learn to give yourself the nurturing that you lacked in your childhood. By so doing, you can be an example for others. You can find keys, methods and insights that will shed light not only on your own experience but on many who experience a similar wounding.

Sounds like a good time for it.

What's t.pluto doing in your chart? That also can make for a good time for therapy.
