It depends on the degree that their Cancer Sun is at. If your Jupiter is in early Cancer and theirs is in late Cancer, not much is happening, there will be no conjunction, but if there is a conjunction this person will inspire you in some way, but it doesn't necessarily bring luck, if any thing if you're the Jupiter person you'll bring them expansion.

I've fed many a Capricorn drunk and still no financial luck.

Jupiter in Capricorn in 2nd house.

Maybe I should get Taurus drunk and that would get me higher up on the career ladder?

Jupiter is about laughter and abundance of joy.

I got lucky by getting a beautiful friend like her.

rasberri - same here.. my Jupiter is Pisces and my best friend's Sun is conjunct!

She's awesome!! I'm lucky to have her in my life. In terms of material-tangible "luck".. I'd say I bring *her* luck. I think Jupiter is usually the good-luck charm. The Sun person brings warmth and affection to the relationship.

ive met people who have had their venus on top of my jupiter and i liked them very much. jupiter is exalted in cancer so you have enough luck as is, i think.. still, someone with a lot of cancer energy may help.. if their planets are directly on top of your jupiter, even better.. but too much of a good thing isn't necessarily best all the time. other things can make you feel just as lucky so u may not need a cancer around for that. like cancer things for example.. u may have luck by just wearing silver. doing things like taking care of your home.. they're bound to boost your spirits and they manifest externally so if you feel good, you attract the best luck.
