I want to throw this question out there. I am seeing that when I am centered emotionally,I feel my Sun(Gemini)as the strongest and most dominant part .
When I feel lost inside, I feel my Moon(Cancer)
My Ascendant(Scorpio) is always there. It has been described as the car you drive--your vehicle in the world-perhaps like a color you wear.

I just read that the core of you is your Sun sign .
I am comfortable living in my moon (Cancer). I live in the good and bad parts of it but it is not "me" in a way that I feel is my identity.
My Moon is very intuitive but fearful.I am like a crab running to the crab shell lol. I would like to retain the intuition but have the Gemini sense of boldness in life.

What are your aspects and transits to your Sun and Moon? If the transiting outer planets are aspecting your natal Moon or Sun, your whole temperament can be altered for a few years... I used to relate more to my Moon sign when I was younger but recently I've become a lot more detached and I equate this to T. Pluto exactly sextile natal Moon and T. Saturn quincunx natal Moon. Hi Vertiver, I am a beginner in Astrology(6 months) I don't know how to do transits etc.I can just deal with the natal chart in a basic way.I think that I must have big changes now cuz I feel them in my life.I feel I am being transformed so maybe it is Pluto or Saturn releasing it's hold on me. I have Saturn in the first house so maybe it is giving me a break, somehow lol. Ami

Transiting Pluto is opposing your natal Moon and transiting Saturn is squaring you natal Moon (orb 4 degrees in both cases). Old emotional patterns will be rebuilt from the foundations. Similar to underpinning a house. Quite severe and deep work, but ultimately necessary and strengthening. A rectification of the ill ground on which the house was built originally. I feel like my Moon is the part that is being shaken up.
That deep Cancer energy is being dispersed. It has been like a hard lump. I could not get out from under it no matter how hard I tried.
Now,it is breaking up and I can feel the air of the Gemini planets and it feels wonderful

Yes and no. Yes Pluto only transits a whole particular sign once in your lifetime because it takes such a long time to orbit the Sun. And no the aspect will happen more than once DURING THIS ONE sign transit because of retrograde and direct travel during the years Pluto is in that sign.

Ami - Not for me.. My Mars is in Capricorn (2 deg) and my Asc is - either 29' Gemini or 0'something in Cancer. The worst was Pluto transiting the first time around in 2009. Then it went Retro and it transited again (nothing happened)..
It is direct again now and has passed my Mars a 3rd time. Again - not much happened. The first time was - preTTy bad! You are a late Gemini Sun, so Pluto was directly opposite your Sun not long ago (maybe a couple of years). This probably caused harsher changes, than the ones you'd get with the Moon opposition imo IP: Logged |

Yes, perhaps 4-5 years ago was the worst time for me. I gave up on life cuz I just could not figure it out.
I tried and tried to make some sense of it and it kept slipping through my fingers.
That must have been the Pluto transit to the Sun.
You are right. It was much worse than this one. This is a deep cleansing but feels good in the sense of cleaning a closet you have let go for a long time .lol Ami

A wonderful Astrologer, A_L_F_, figured out I was a Scorpio AC--not a Libra.
If you look at my pictures--I look more Scorpio like than Libra. However, more than that,my chart never fit me.
Once, the Scorp AC came on--there I was. I was the me I knew.
Then, I could face myself cuz I had a self to face.
I have missed you, Bobbie. I was thinking about you last night and wondering how you were.

Hi Ami,I wasn't so often in the Forum, but was looking for your Natal Chart and have seen: ASC Libra. Later you always wrote about ASC Scorpio and your 8th house.

Most of the time I think I'm more like my sun sign, Aquarius... it's pretty much the cause of all my bruises. I think my scorpio moon comes into play when I feel intense anger or hurt, or when I feel I have to be venomous to wake someone up. Otherwise I don't feel deep passion that scorpios feel, most of the time I don't know what I'm feeling. My scorpio friend used to get so frustrated with all her aquarian friends over our lack of emotion (she had a lot of aquarian friends for some reason),.. or how we just don't know what we feel n we don't give it much thought. my sun and moon are in the same sign.
i know one thing, if i am not living in full vibrant color, i am not being true to myself. i was actually born to be outrageous i think sometimes. its only in living that way that i feel alive. when i get too reflective or inward or gloomy, i am not doing myself or anyone else any favors. lilith and bml on mc in aqua. 3 planets in leo. and a packed 5th houes. (of course with saturn opposing and in a t-square with jupiter, just for kicks) i have to live a colorful life.
sometimes i feel i have to use colorful expressive words and to be any different for any length of time, surely i would wither and die. so for my emotional heath, i have to live life loud and colorful with varied artistic expressions or i may explode. IP: Logged |
