quote:
We enter the Dark of the Moon this evening, the 10th, PST, and in the darkness find some chance for pre-New Moon renewal. But isn’t the New Moon the point of renewal? you may ask–yes, but this New Moon is going to demand a lot from us; our task in the days leading up to it is to absorb the calm, to gather strength and focus that will be called upon when the Sun and Moon meet.

The New Moon (also the Chinese New Year, which always falls on the New Moon in Aquarius each year) occurs at 6:50 PM PST at 25 Aquarius 17, and there are three aspects made within our strict two degree orb, conjunctions to Chiron and Neptune in Aquarius, and a sextile to Arian Juno (and here’s where I should apologize to ECLIPSE readers, as I simply left out Neptune in listing aspects for this Moon, though it was taken into account in interpreting the extra information provided in ‘What You Won’t See on the Blog’–HTTP://DOGANDSUNFLOWER.WORDPRESS.COM/ECLIPSE-IN-DEPTH-ASTROLOGY-FOR-THE-21ST-CENTURY/ Scroll down for article excerpts).

The imperative for this New Moon is clear: we must reach past the hurt and illusion/ deception to find our own, ‘new born’ empowerment, and this must have an intellectual or Higher Mind cast. The hurt and illusion is nothing more than a viewpoint we have superimposed that has allowed us to remain disempowered in the present–but now we are called (or perhaps challenged) to let go of whatever has been misleading us, deluding us, fooling us, distorting our thinking, or making us shy away from our appropriate direction out of fear of being hurt (or, in some cases, out of a fear of bringing forward some of our most unique and accomplished skill sets), and all of these are mentally-oriented. This misdirection has been perpetrated with our cooperation; the Aquarius New Moon asks us to apply the Higher Mind and overcome assumed and accepted limits.

The Sabian for this degree is ‘A Garage Man Testing a Car’s Battery with a Hydrometer’ suggesting applying our skills to a measurement of our energy capacity, and in particular our energy capacity as it is affected by our emotional ‘charge.’ Hydrometer does, after all, suggest ‘measuring water,’ an estimation of the strength of the emotional ‘body’ as it superimposes itself on the realities that surround us. It’s reasonable to draw connection between the emotional state and those things that may have affected our sense of empowerment, and the New Moon symbol implies we have the skills at this point to deal with any impediments.

I love Julie Demboski...but the one time I posted one of her articles, she complained to the webmaster and made them remove it. I never understood that either. You would think she would want more people to see her work, and that would draw more people to her website. She almost made it sound like we were stealing her work if we posted it on a a website like this one. She does searches for certain key words in her articles, and that is how she finds where they are posted.
Strange, don't you think?

I remember that!! I thought it was self defeating. She would've gotten more blog traffic.

Look how many of us read Anne Ortelee now...

I will never visit Julie's site, because I felt that was very rude. No one was claiming credit or anything...

Diana, we should make our own blogs! Where everyone can share it! I would've never read Anne Ortelee's blog had it not been posted on here...

Demboski is okay with her work appearing as long as it's not more than two paragraphs of her text and there's a link to the rest of it. Some authors are more protective than others, and maybe Demboski has had problems before with other people claiming credit for her work and that made her extremely proactive in protecting it. If she had an issue with her article being posted here, it seems like it would have been a better solution to request the webmaster cut it down to fit the text limitation and make sure the link was there as opposed to removing it completely. That way she still gets exposure, traffic is directed to her site, and people here get to discuss her interpretations.
