Lets say you live abroad from place of birth. Should you then use the relocation chart with amended time for the synastry with another because it does make a difference. It moves the AC!

So all the houses are different for synastry.

What do you all think?

My guess:

for initial attraction & karmic connection- use the birth place chart

for compatibility- use the relocation chart

Hmm. Interesting. I would definately say use your natal in all cases, except Solar Returns where it must be done topocentrically i.e, based on the global position you are at the time of the S.R.
And then say you met someone abroad you would use the overlay of a topocentric S.R with yours and his natal.

Well predom, what If one of you
lives abroad but both born in same country?

The person who lves abroad has done for 8 years and probably won't come back to uk so do I use his new city always? Hmmm

what about solar returns and progressed charts?!

You only use his current City for his S.R's. At all other times you use your respective natal charts for synastry. Progressed charts composites etc start from the natal as a baseline NOT any chart derived from his new place of residence. Then if you're wanting to see if you figure in his year ahead use his S.R with natal overlay etc. I'm not sure where using the overlay of a progressed chart on an S.R for his new location would get you. Well, nowhere is where. Just use progressed in reference to the natal like you would an S.R. But don't over complicate it really Lara.
It doesn't matter where either of you live. Use the natal as a baseline for your synastry, and only deviate from this when doing the S.R of a person who has moved far away from their birthtown.
I'll lock this thread in my moderator capacity if it gets any more over-complicated.
