What is anyone's experience with Mars in Cancer--either having it or knowing someone with it.
To me, It feels like an impotent Mars. Trying to get your own power is like trying to walk through quicksand.
It feels like your personal power is locked inside where it is very hard to reach.
PDF told me that it was an empathetic placement so at least that is good and made me feel a little bit better about it lol. AmiIP: Logged |

I've got off with so many women with Mars in Cancer that i consider myself to be an expert in how it manifests. Also i've known plenty of men with it.
Mars in Cancer is FAR from impotent in women. It is a somewhat contrary placing. They can be summarised as repressed nymphomaniacs. They are either in their shell sexually and all the repressed energy goes to their stomach and causes anxiety, or they have been released by another and they have an unstoppable quest to quench their thirst. I genuinely think it's a good position for women to have.
In men it tends to make them a bit of a wet jerk, and a limp-wristed baby. But they do have a compassionate side. It is to be considered a lame placing for men to have natally. Who may go through life scared to act, cautious and timid and forever a follower. IP: Logged |

I like my mars in cancer. I have mars conj N.N/hygiea/Lova/tyche and also venus(in gemini). I'm not sure how all of it influence each other in my life. My mars in cancer and all of it in trine to my saturn in pisces give me the driving force. When I looking backwards to my life I see every decision who makes up to my mind always give me a good result in lead me to a better way into my life. I take all my decision in my own mind. I work hard and in silence. I have strong patient. I love to work hard. All of it in my house 11. I also like to be with people and I've many friends. IP: Logged |

I have mars in cancer. LOL @ impotent!!I have a protective caring nature but sexually I could make any nympho think twice about taking me on in the bedroom. Ive been in a relationship for 10 years and we had sex 2 - 3 times everyday. Maybe the person you have met is still shy around you or afraid to open up. I never make the first move. I need reassurance that the person is attracted to me and I hate casual sex. I need intense passion and emotions. Dont care about love but i need to feel your soul, mind and body.. If that makes sense  Mars trine pluto

AmiAnn. I also feel as you sometimes. When I find out how I should make to resolve the problem and did it... something always happend into me. I always feel me eased after.The most importent are to listening to the feelings and take a descision to really change... If you have got a cancer mars you have a nice place to make good work to change your life. Your feelings are your weapon. That protect you. Listening to them. Find out what they want you. AmiAnn. Where do you have your moon? My moon are in gemini and not in the best place to work with feelings. My moon also in t-square to merk/uran/ saturn. I know it's hard work but I also know it's get on well if you work on it. I've learn about the hard aspect much about my feelings. The feelings they have never wrong. The most importent and the best guide to my way in my life are moon. My mars in cancer help me to change the life on a good way. A cancer way. IP: Logged |

Good point about your feelings protecting. I use DGL(licorice) tablets to suck on.
You know what else will cure ulcers--habanero pepper.It hurts but will work.
When my stomach really hurts, I put habanero pepper in tomato juice. It always helps. It warms up the stomach which can get cold from stress.I learned this from an accupuncturist about the hot/cold--yin/yang.
I know that my stomach problems are my emotions and feeling comfortable taking my own power to be used for my own good.Also, mine are repression, too. I have to say that it is true in my case. I have pushed down my sexuality.

Belgz I am exactly the same way.I'm deff not a weak person. I have a VERY strong sex drive that when I was younger got me in trouble (I think my Taurus Venus helped with that too lol). I have my Mars in the 1st house conjuct my Sun and Asc...so I've never been shy about going after what or who I want. I don't need love to experience great feelings of my sex drive but I do need intensity passion and a emotional connection. I actually find that my Mars being in the first house makes me seem/feel more aries like. An example is my ex bf an Aqua had an Aries Mars and I was 100% much more agressive about what I wanted sexually than him. IP: Logged |

My moon is in Cancer which probably doesn't help.
I never had stomach problems until I was an adult and I felt impotent to change my life.
I felt that my anger and needs were impotent.
I stuffed them and thought I could get away with it.
It won't work to stuff energy like that.
I can eat somewhat normally,now. Thank Goodness ,but still any emotion--lodges there--in my stomach.
I think I am on the road to healing, though. I am glad you found healing Popcorn !

I remember when my stomach problems started. I ,consciously, gave up on life,on myself, really.
I had just had my second child and I decided to sacrifice my life for my children and husband. I am NOT saying this as if it was good.
It was VERY emotionally ill to do that!It was from the abuse from my mother that I gave up--in that way.
Now, after my son died, I started on a path of finding my real identity.
God brought me the best of the best man and now *I* just have to heal so *I* can be whole enough to go through life as an independent person, emotionally.

My mother and I don't talk to each other in about 10-15 year. In this last year there is the first time we can talk to each other like a friends. I moved 400 kilometre away from her and all the crazy familymembers in about 6 years ago. I think the distance between us was good. I have been married twice times. My exhusband number 2 and I divorced 1998 and he died 2002. My new better life start when I divorced 1998 and my best life start when I took my children and moved 400 kilometre away 2003. Aries Moon Square Cancer Mars Well i have an aries moon square my cancer mars. I find either a lot of Aries energy one day and somewhat supressed the other day. I'm a guy by the way. ------------------------

I have Mars in Cancer, along with my Sun and Mercury. I'm a very intense and strong-willed person and I have a fierce temper. I don't think my Mars describes me well at all but that's probably because my Sun is in the 5th house (which gives my Sun a very Leo flavor), I have a Leo Venus (conjunct all my Liliths and my DNA) and a Leo DSC, I have a huge stellium in the 8th House (including Jupiter, Uranus {my chart ruler} and Pluto), and I have a lot of Scorpio influences (the 8th House stellium, Neptune conjunct MC in Scorpio and my Sun in the Scorpio decanate). All in all, I'd have to say that one placement does not always manifest strongly if there are other factors of stronger influence. That's why one has to look at the chart as a whole. well i am mars in cancer too, and i HAVE had stomach problems, except they were ovarian problems in actual fact...long gone! as to repressed or nympho i have to disagree. i do experience cancer mars as being very oceanic...the energy comes and goes in waves and it is always a mistake to try to force myself to act when the feeling is not there! as far as sexual energy, ditto! people tend to see me as nurturing though it must be second nature cos i don't notice it... Ami Cool that we both have Moon - Mars in the same sign! Mine's Cappy. One of my really good friends is a Gemini girl with Mercury and Mars in Cancer! I think she's very sensual. We're pretty different romantically though. She really loves commitment. She says she'd like to be single for once etc.. but she always ends up dating someone or in a relationship. I don't think I've seen her single in years. Sometimes it's a good thing.. The last guy is pretty cool! But her ex was a nightmare and she stuck with him anyhow. That was something I couldn't understand, because if someone behaved that way towards me I would've happily been single instead. But she still preferred being in a rel. with him, than single. Anyway it's a good thing she's moved on from him now. The other thing she does is underestimate her own abilities. She's a very talented person. She has nice voice, plays three instruments and writes awesome songs. I think she'd have a record out by now if she'd have done something about it.
But she believes she isn't good enough. She'll put all her energy into something and when it's finalized she has the reaction that "it's all crap anyway" and wants to throw it out the window. I could pull my hair out over that. So many times I've told her and explained how talented she is. I even recorded her and played it back and it was like we were hearing different things. I love her friendship. She's a very caring person! I only know one guy with this Mars (and Venus) and he's attractive - He doesn't fit pdf's description, but he's a Leo Sun-Moon..
