Do planets triggering the ASC. represent the same effect as a personal planet being triggered?

In this instance T. Jupiter will sqaure my ASC. in a couple of weeks and I'm guessing it will definitely effect me because my Asc. is Jupiter ruled. Any ideas how this transit could manifest?

I think transits to ur ascendant can be felt but in my experience, unless there is a theme of more than one interaction pushing for something to happen in an area of your life, you don't notice much of anything.

If that is the case however, jupiter's negative side, which could show up in a square, can be about overdoing it. I just had this same transit with Jupiter in my third. Looking back I had a lot on my plate in terms of writting assignments and web development projects for my brother. In the moment of it all, nothing was traumatic but I had lots of positive transits going on in the same area of my chart at the same time.

Which house is is squaring it from?

Whenever t.sat aspects my AC -- even the good aspects, I get teeth problems. I will go 10 years without any tooth problems, and then, BAM! It's so weird.

I have sat conjunct AC, so it also aspects that, and saturn rules skin and teeth.

SashaCitron, T.Jupiter is the third house as well, so it could possibly deal with my siblings. I think I might have the tendency to go shopping too often, that seems to be my problem whenever Venus or Jupiter aspects happen and drinking too much.... Or eating too much, lol!

Like Diana, feel free to talk about other planets triggering the ASC. and your experiences, I'm curious!

I just remembered, when I had t. jup square my AC, I thought I looked really bad.

ETA, but t.jup was in my 10th of public image.

Vertiver - come to think of it my brother had a major drinking binge that got him in trouble with me and his girlfriend. I'd def watch your siblings and if you like drinking just be cautious during the T. square. Lol.....

Diana- I also felt not as attracive as usual during this time. Never connected the dots on that till now.

Sasha,

Really? I wonder if a lot of people feel (or look) bad when they have this one?

That is strange you'd think it would be the opposite, Jupiter can be conceited at times with its grandeur...

Oh Dear Sashacitron, I encouraged my younger sister to drink last night and ended up having to sober her up... the entire night, but she wasn't too drunk, luckily....
