Topic: Saturn conjunct Saturn in synastry

I've just realised that my Dad and I have this conjunction in Leo. I'm fascinated to know if anyone else has experienced it and how it has played out in their relationship. My Dad and I had a very difficult relationship when I was younger (I was quite scared of him for a long time), but once I hit adulthood, I finally saw his many wonderful qualities and my love and respect for him is now boundless and he is the first person I turn to for advice. ------------------

It pretty much just means that part of your Dad's Saturn Return experience was becomming a father.If you remember, your birth chart is simply a transit chart of that day for your father. He was somewhere between 28 and 31 when you were born, it was a strong part of becomming an adult for him. Being a good father means setting firm, clear boundaries for children and it doesn't always feel good to the child. It's not supposed to. A father is supposed to provide proper authoritative love and he probably did that. Saturn also rules fear, discipline, the word "No", solid foundations, rules, etc. Your father probably did all of those things well, even if it felt a little scary or mean at times. And like you said, now that you're of a mature age, looking back you can see the value of all of it. Saturn also rules respect. IP: Logged |

I have this with my step dad.. Saturn2Saturn exactly conjunct in Sagittarius. I get along great with him most of the time. My mum has it with my grandpa.. conjunct in Pisces. IP: Logged |
