My boyfriend's pluto is exactly conjunct my sun.....he gets teased a lot by people that he is overly possesive of me and thinks of me as his property.....any other interpretations/experiences of sun conjunct pluto synastry.....

I have the Square.

To be precise, he has Jupiter Opposite Pluto and my Sun is exactly Square Pluto. It just about counts as a Sun Square Jupiter.

Traditionally this [Sun/Pluto] is interpretated as power struggles. I'd say that is about right. As Jupiter/Pluto suggests he can get entrenched in his ideas and thinks his is the only way of doing things. The Sun gets in the middle of this and presents a challenge.

Other aspects between the charts should be brought into the picture to help work out what is going on. What is your Sun doing on your chart? Will a Trine to Mars make it tough enough to stand up to Pluto? Or is it Square to Neptune and not always confident at facing up to harsh reality?

My mum's Sun is exactly conjunct my step dad's Pluto in Leo.

No one would ever get the idea that he is in any way possessive (or jealous for that matter). She is kind of possessive of him, though.. but she is a *Leo* lol with a Scorpio mars. I don't think the synastry is to blame for that

They have pretty good synastry actually so it's a fun-friendly relationship overall, with the occasional bickering.

I have a few friends from my school days with their Suns conj my Pluto. I have not noticed any "pluto" like characteristics in these friendships.

HOWEVER, I have noticed with SOME people whose sun squares or opposes my Pluto I then see the obsessive pluto stuff come up and that is when I will usually block the person out of my life - on an acquaintence level. I don't know why the pluto stuff comes up for me but it is like coming across a horrific car accident and being drawn to the gore and details.......I just want AWAY from them.

But the I do have a few friends whose suns do square my pluto and things are just fine between us. 2 of them are very good friends of mine. But then again their suns are in separating aspect from my pluto.....I guess the applying aspects would have more ooomph to it.
