Very short comment:

Her Mars and Moira conjunct his Moon and Pluto: hot love.
His Moira in her 7th.

Her Venus, Moon and Chiron in his 1st:
for ever in love!

Her POF and Hygea conjunction his Sun, Venus and Mercury in his 7th: it looks like they were sick without each other.

His Mars, Eros and Hygea in conjunction with her Jupiter in her 1st:
similar as above.

Why Hygea has so much importance?

His 7th house ruler is square to her Uranus and trine Pluto and Jupiter and widely opposes her Venus.
His 5th and 8th house ruler - Mercury - only trines her Sun BUT it is located in his 7 house, so aspects to his Venus ( it governs the 7th house ) are of importance, and his Venus is indeed quite aspected by her chart.

He had unaspected Mercury- lives in his head a lot.

She had unaspected Venus-lives through her heart a lot.

Both had Sun in 7th- 7th house people like to be with people and often find that they truly "shine" with another.

Since he had Mercury as a singleton and it was included in the 7th house, in this relationship he truly shone.

He also had Venus in 7th and was a very partnership oriented individual.

His ideal partner would have been representative as an embodiment of 1or all of the 3 planets in the 7th(Mercury,Sun, and Venus).

It is very fitting then for her to have a Venus singleton as it shows that she was an ideal mate for him.

She has Mercury in 7th house and he has a Mercury singleton which also suggests that he was an ideal mate for her.

I wonder if he enjoyed public success? Or a very public life because her Dsc ruler(Neptune) is in the 10th house.

This suggests that her partner had a public life or held public office.

Perhaps he was an actor, painter, sculptor or was involved in a highly "arty"/even spiritual career path?

His Dsc ruler(Moon) was in the 4th house-suggesting that his partner was a very private, nurturing homebody who preferred a more private life.

Its interesting to note that her Saturn is in 8th. Saturn in 8th is "endings" and how fitting that she should die of a disease that consumes one slowly? Cancer.

And it is also interesting to know that he has Mars in 8th- often indicative of a sudden, often self-inflicted death that can be characterized by violence, anger, weapons, guns or impulse.

I am curious as to how he committed suicide. Mars in 8th often suggests that there was blood loss or some physical trauma suffered.

May they both rest in peace.

Here is one part from his Biography (Wikipedia):

Charles Boyer:

On 26 August 1978, two days after his wife's death from cancer, and two days before his own 79th birthday, Boyer committed suicide with an overdose of Seconal while at a friend's home in Scottsdale. He was taken to the hospital in Phoenix, where he died.

Bobbie

p.s. It is true that Mars in 8th with good aspects gives lots of energy. Here we should look ruler of 8th house, Mercury in 7th (death because of partner).

Sun in Taurus
Moon in Pisces
Ascendant Libra
