So one of these days i was looking at a magazine that said the ammount of health problems that Elvis had times before his death.

I was amazed and surprised by how could he actually survive that long with all those health problems, obviously originated by the enourmous quantity of meds and pills that he was taking.

Isaw also the mini-serie with Jonathan Meyers and it was the 1st time i payed attention to Elvis, all of his story, his wins and losses, both familiar and finantial.

Due to his strong bond with his mother,i thought that he would have a lot of cancer or at least a cancer asc!! but no!how odd...???

So have oyou ever looked at his chart?

what do you think immediatelly when looking at it?

Does it appear his conditioned health problems? His extreme sensitiveness? ( well pisces moon....)

He is not from my time but looking at all his Life,i see him as someone very special.

hE was not ONLY the king of Rock.

Somehow he awakened people from their own conversatism and rocked the world apart.

it is extremely sad to see how he ended up in Life though....he died so lonely... he deserved better...

im looking at his Sabians:

Karma

"A DROWNING MAN IS BEING RESCUED" - this one tells about how the person is suffocated by something that happens in life,or is happening. How he feels disempowered by his inability to cope emotionally.

i guess it tells the truth.afterall he did lost himself somehwhere in the middle of his Path...

KARMA was square his Alma,Valentine and NN-ouch...he must have had something blocking him from his past life maybe?he deffinately had difficulties in his relationships and also maybe felt that something was missing in the whole picture of his Life.

TYCHE - "GEMINI 4-5
A RADICAL MAGAZINE OR PUBLICATION, ASKING FOR ACTION, DISPLAYS A SENSATIONAL FRONT PAGE "

sO THIS deals with a motivation for change, the need to reform and revolution.Social and emocional causes.Publishing.

well...this is cj his KIROn...i believe that having the asteroid of karmic lessons cj the wounded healer might be a bit...overwelming!!

KIRON - "WORKMEN DRILLING FOR OIL"

tHIS stands for perseverance to get sucess, but specially the need to go deeper to understand a situation or something.
It has to do with past life explorations but also with pursuit of spiritual and physical wealth ( which he managed at least the material wealth...).
the risk is neglecting friends and loved ones ( which sometimes he did too...)

this KIRON is cj HYADES- strong sex drive ( which made him suffer cause seems that after a woman being a Mother,he didnt wanted to be intimate with her anymore).Hence probably his divorce with his only wife.

"Gives a strong sex drive, greedy, overindulgent and excessive nature. Exploitive of others. Can indicate tremendous success in life. Lack of control and bad habits can cause downfall. High energy level with much military ability. "

Fits PERFECTLY in his Life.

his JUPITER Is conjunct NORTH SCALE - [18 degrees of Scorpio]
Honor, distinction, ambition. Good fortune.

SEEMS THat Elvis was almost getting blind in his latest years.so he weared the dark glasses all the time.I remembered Ami´s thread about the fixed stars and the degree pointing torwards eyesight problems is 6AQUA - his Alma Placement.

Asteroid Hygieia is related to Health - coincidence or not,he has it in 7PISCES,and according to the site above,9PISCES is related to suffering.

These things are getting spooky!!!

He was my aunt`s great love.
At least I remember having overheard her talking to a friend, when she was 15, that he was or could have been her one true love.
Strange thing is my aunt actually never got married. lol

I remember thinking back then,t hat I wanted to love like that, too.
Ironically my first "crush" happens to make almost every of his roles an Elvis- "hommage" (some would say, parody, but I
feel it is more like a hommage).

BTW Elvis` Karma is on the exact same SAbian as my Draco Eros.

But I don`t see it as negatively, this SAbian, after all there is the mentioning of "rescuing".
Of course one has to be willing to accept being "rescued".,

I have a strong bond with my grandmother (Libra Sun and Merc) - I'm Aries...

I'm not surprised about Elvis - since he has lots of Capricorn there (which is opposite Cancer).. Oppositions can lead to strong bonds as well!

___________

oh wait.. I just realized you weren't saying his mother was Cancerian.. you were saying *he* should've been Cancerian to be close to his mum.. OK lol

Well the Cancer-Cap axis.. is the family axis anyway.. so most highly Cancer or Cap people will feel a strong bond to their family.

There are 3 strong aspects suggesting the bond with his mother:

Neptune rules Elvis' 4th House, the House representing the mother and his early home life.

Neptune tightly squares his Ascendant - This suggests a high probability of co-dependence with his mother in the form of an "above average closeness". This is not always good. It's also a strong signal of his health issues. Someone mentioned that he was having eye trouble (I don't know enough about his personal life to know the facts). The 1st House and 12th House are the health centers and Neptune rules vision, so this makes a lot of sense as well as having a lot of other health issues since Neptune rules infections, poisons, alcohol and drugs; and Neptune makes it difficult to diagnose illnesses as well.

Neptune trines his Sun - once again, his mother is Neptune and the Sun is his core energy for life. Imagine Neptune like a giant oil slick or an ocean just sort of all over him, suppressing him in some instances.

Venus conjunct Nodal Axis - this suggests an above average maternal influence in terms of aesthetics, arts, creativity, and because Venus rules his 11th house it also influences how he receives love. His mother may have doted on him to the point where he became super-high maintenance in terms of having relationships.

His mother died August 14, 1958. On that day transiting Pluto opposed his Moon by 1 degree, but Pluto had been transiting his Moon exactly, direct and retrograde for about 9 months up to that point. His Moon rules his 8th House of Death.

If I was in the mood for comparisons and debate, I'd talk about how much I agree with you, but...

This is about the astrology not about who is more talented or the best, etc.

...but I am missing my Michael fiercely!!

Lol yeah, they'll know him as a legend along with Elvis and all the other brilliant, amazing, influential people but, far out its hard to explain lol, but not like how me, my parents, even my grandparents (lol!) know him like alive and in the news and making new music that still sh*ts all over whatever is out at the time and pulling new dance routines for everyone to copy

He's just a piece of (recent) history now

Anyways, back to Elvis

I have neptune exactly square my ASC. I couldn't care less if i don't see my mum for months or years.. My neptune opposes my moon too and its exactly on my IC. I dont even smoke ciggerettes. I have never been addicted to anything other than chocolate and I even gave that up too

Why would those energies manifest differently in different charts?

could there be more to it?

Belgz,

does Neptune rule your 4th house?

Mars rules my 4th house and is 2 degrees off my ASC in the 12th house. I have a VERY strong psychic bond to my mum, which is not always easy to handle.

Actually she recently said to me: "You are not me." Which sums ups this asteroid pretty well.

Neptune, ruling my intercepted 3rd house, is conjunct Mars, too.

Hi Belgz and DD,

DD is correct. The way it manifests for Elvis is that his Neptune rules all 4th house matters, that includes the mother.

For you, Belgz, it could be that your mother vanished from your life at some point or in some way. Even though you are not an addict, it might be that your mother is somehow or she's unable to show up for you somehow. The measurement can also suggest that your most needs may have been surpressed or hidden. Your mother might be hidden in someway also but only you can confirm if any of my descriptions ring true for you.

But I'll have to check tomorrow, it's way past my bedtime. I'ts 4:44 AM here.

You guys all have a great day.

My 4th house ruler is Jupiter. Jupiter is applying to uranus (conjunct)..

I was very close with my mum when I was younger and then when I was about 12 she sent me and my brother away to stay with my grandparents whilst she got divorced from my father but i didnt see her or my dad for about 2 years. Ever since then she started gambling and doing drugs and was always suicidal so I distanced myself from her and she felt it. She would always say to me how come you dont tell me everything anymore and would ask why im not so close but she pushed me away and as a result Im not very clingy with anything. I dont even get attached easily. I've never been hooked on anything or anyone. I let go easily and I'm now a very versatile, mutable person

And no I'm not hurt. Its just my personality.

Ha, that horrible problem he had with intimacy, plus his strange sex habits/compulsions, makes sense now with that Pluto Venus Uranus t square. Have never looked at his chart! It just spells out so many forces working within him, and so many out of his control. Along with hard work and his efforts being easily recognized, MC ruler conj Sun/Venus in H2 ~ we should all be so lucky. But that Pluto opp + Uranus square could not have been easy to deal with.
