I'm interpreting my friends chart and I stumbled across something interesting, but hard to find info on. He is a Gemini Sun with Gemini Asc. and his Mercury which is at 29 degrees Taurus is Retrograde and conjunct his Asc. What does this explain? What do you see in his chart overall?

His Mercury only aspects his Moon and ASC...

He is the only person I know who you can get a hold of a at anytime and he contacts me all the time, which made it easy to be friends because there has never been any flakiness which is rare with a 20 year old male. We both don't fit the norm and were both spacey in our own ways, which I connect with his natal Mercury and Venus RX in Gemini and Pisces Moon?
