Can someone tell me if my brother is going to have a baby.
My brother is the querent, not me.
The question is "are my fiance and i going to have a baby."
I wonder if he would be the moon in this chart, or would that be the mother? mars, i believe, represents the baby, and i think my brother would maybe be jupiter? dont know, thats why im asking! thanks in advance.

Your brother is the 3rd house (merc). He only conjuncts nep. moon is in his 11th of hopes and wishes -- and is VOC.
No child.

Hey!Diana - her brother is the one asking the question.. (she mentioned that above).. so if he is asking - as the querent - he should be represented by the planet ruling the ASC - which is the Moon (in Cancer). Being the Moon in Cancer it looks like he'd really like to have children. His partner would be represented by the 7th cusp.. Capricorn which is ruled by Saturn in Libra. Children are represented by the 5th house - which is ruled by Mars (usually they only take into consideration old rulers in horary astrology). I think the fact that the Moon (your brother) is approaching a conjunction with Mars (children) and a sextile to Saturn (his SO) - is a positive sign. Perhaps they will conceive when Mars turns direct and sextiles Saturn by a closer orb - Just a thought.. IP: Logged |

My mistake.
It doesn't matter, though, because the moon is VOC.
Mars is rx, so is powerless to act. Mars dislikes the moon (mars is in its fall in cancer). Saturn is exalted but rx, so is also under stress, so to speak. Additionally, saturn doesn't make any aspects.
Does she think she is pregnant?

No, not right now, but she says she is neither closing the door to parenthood nor welcoming it, per se. The thing they are a little concerned about is their age. but at the same time, neither one of them have children from previous relationships. i was concered about the moon, but i noticed the moon was in its home of cancer, and cancer is also the asc. hmmI don't like the Retros either Diana.. but Mars in Leo is not bad.. because Leo is the sign of kids.. so the ruler of the 5th being in Leo is probably an OK sign (even if it is Retro) tlv-lady, I think she is more reluctant to have kids than he is. There seems to be a role reversal where he is highly feminine (Moon in Cancer) and she is more masculine.. (Saturn in Libra). She is keen on the relationship with him - since the sign is Libra after all.. But Saturn is very interested in cold facts and in the realities of life. She may be thinking about their financial situation.. She may not like to give up her career.. etc He seems extremely open and willing to have a child.. He might even volunteer to be a stay at home dad.. Sorry if this is *way* off lol.. I'm just going by the Cancer Moon (which is his representative here).

thats funny, because he has an aquarian moon, so he likes to cover, and/or downplay his feelings. thats their MO, you know. maybe his feelings are more than what he lets on.
another good thing is that he will not pressure her if she says she doesnt want kids. but right now shes either/or. that also may be representative of her being in libra.IP: Logged |

Rx is very very bad in horary. It's like a debility. It doesn't matter that it's in leo, which is peregrine, anyway.

I jsut reread my original post and it really fits with the situation you described.
He wants a child.She is on the fence.
Something may happen in 3 -- weeks, months, years, but according to this, something will happen. It may be (I hate to say this and I could be wrong) that they find out one of them is unable to conceive. It happens in the brother's turned 6th house. The mooon can't perfect to mars in the 11th of hopes and dreams.
I could be wrong. Hope I am. Horary is not my strongest suit.
