What does Vertex conjunct Ascendant double whammy signifiy? Is it as fated as with a planet? In the composite it conjuncts descendant.

BUMP.

Does anybody else have this aspect with someone? What are your beliefs about the effectiveness this type of conjunction has on a couple?

I had it in my solar return chart: natal Vertex on solar ASC and soalr ASC on natal Vertex, that year I met a very important person for me. Our relationship did not last long but had a tremendous healing effect on me, this person was my son and my beloved from my 2 pastlife lines. I had vivid pastlife memories a day or two, right before I met him and when I did I instantly recognised him. In our synastry we have lots of Chiron aspects. My Neptune is conj his Vertex, there are no aspects from his planets to my Vertex though.

ASC VERTEX to me is very, very important in synastry because they both move so fast. More important than planets to vertex and planets to planets.

I think its a soul mate aspect. Under 2 orb.

My ex husbands Vertex conjunct My Asc by 7 orbs my Vertex conjuncts his Asc by 2 orbs

Composite Vertex conjunct DSc by 3 orbs..

There was a delay from my side, I didnt like or want anything to do with him.. It took him 6 months of chasing me, before I would even give him a chance..

With Mr Pisces.
His NN/12th house cusp conjunct my Vertex

My Vertex then trines His Vertex
then
His Vertex trines my NN.

Then I think my NN biquint. his Saturn

All I can say is I know its some how fated and part of our destiny to have contact with each other.

I have this with someone and we have vertex conjunct each other's ascendants less than a degree orb and less than a degree composite descendant. It seems very fated and like Lioness I didn't want anything to do with him, but it was fated. We have a lot of 8th and 12th house aspects as well.

Does this aspect (DW and DCconjunction) always indicate a romantic connection??
How does it feel to have it?

I have that kind of DW with Barack Obama!!! His Vertex is conjunct my ASC EXACT, mine is conjunct his ASC by 3 degrees, lol.

I guess, that's why i loved him so much when i first heard him! Especially his voice, charming and hypnotising. I used to listen to it in order to improve my English and speaking skills, lol!!!

My vertex is conj my fiance's ASC and we have composite vertex conj desc.. His vertex is in my 12th house, but too far from my ascendant to have any "fate" aspects. BUT his Sun is conj my desc as well. I think that may have tempered the resistance that was mentioned up there to the vertex/asc conj double whammy.

We liked each other instantly and the night we met we didn't leave each other's sides. It was like we were old friends who already knew each other. After that we didn't see each other for about a week, and then haven't been apart since. That was in February of 2011. I've never been with somebody that felt as good and right to/with/for me as he does, but I'm not giving all the credit to the ASC/vertex conj for the continuing relationship (we have great synastry and composite charts). just how intense it was to begin. There was no "should we date?" We were together from moment one when we laid eyes on each other whether either of us realized it or not

This is an older post but I'd like to add that I have my Vertex conjunct my kid sister's ASC at 29deg Gemini. She also has Saturn rising.

I was 14 when she was born, an only child before that. Same parents. When she came into the world I understood right away an idea I had been indulging all my life was untrue... that I was the center of the universe! Actually, I felt that I might be the only true human alive. I couldn't understand or love anyone I knew. (Pluto rising in Scorpio.) All that crushing isolation was lifted, right away, the first time I held her in my arms.

Now, I still repeated past fears and paranoia for several years. But the major relief was the realization that I was just a small part in the world stage, and that people didn't care nearly as much as I thought they did about my behavior or actions. What a relief! I finally started to understand myself at that time. Love entered our family again, which had been a hellish environment up to that point for the 3 of us.

She's 11 years old now. My parents are completely gentle with her, taking things slow, building her confidence. With me it was a power struggle with Mom (Pluto conj. Sun) from the very beginning. Sis and Dad have Pluto opp. Sun. Astrology is so cool! Families always seem to have these common aspects. Knowing this helped me personally to move on from childhood pain - it's all part of the plan, after all B)

Yeah, as a general rule, you will always attract the same Planets.

That is because you are working on those things, they are the Energies you share.

The Energies are inherent within yourself, so they pop up, again and again, until you have figured it out.

I have a Stationary Saturn and Jupiter, many, many times there will be those who have Retrogrades coming into my life. I have lost count of how many pets of others I have had to feed.

It's like a battery equalizing.

I wonder what it is about the initial repulsion tendency with this aspect. I've never had it with anyone I've known personally, but I remember the first time I saw Bradley Cooper on screen I felt this OVERWHELMING urge to smack him right across the face as hard as I could. This weirded me out so much because I am just not a violent person. I have NEVER slapped a man across the face and never would. I just don't get violent with people... inanimate objects sometimes, but not people. So, I didn't know why in the world I reacted like that to the sight of Bradley Cooper's face.

Then, when he was voted People's Sexiest Man Alive I remember laughing out loud. I just scoffed so hard and thought, "what-the-heck-ever." Something about him just repulsed me. I had no justification for it, because, obviously, Mr. Cooper had never done me any wrong. Something about his energy just set me off.

Well, I got curious, and checked the synastry between he and I to see if I could figure out where the clash might be. I was stunned by the synastry. We have a Vertex/Ascendant DW 2°, AND a Vertex/Node DW 0°. We both have our Nodes on our AC/DC line in our natals, and so our Vertex's end up conjuncting the AC and Node DW. WE also have each of our DC rulers conj. the others DC 0°, like my 7th Ruler Saturn conj. his DC 0°, and his 7th Ruler Mercury conj. my DC 0°.

The rest of the syanstry was pretty hot, with my Ascendant/Mars in his 8th house right on his Vertex, and his Eros is right there, too, sitting right on my AC and Mars 0°. Then, his AC/Mars is in my 5th house. We've also got Venus opp. Mars DW and Moon trine Venus 3° DW, and his Venus trine my Pluto 0°. There's also Sun opp. Mars DW, which, btw, I think is what makes me wanna smack him.

It's a fascinating synastry, and the Composite is incredible, but, yet, he repulses me. I mean, looking at the charts, you'd think it wouldn't be that way, so, I'm wondering if that's a trend with AC/Vertex DW. Maybe the repulsion is even stronger since we have AC/Vertex DW and Node/Vertex DW?
