I don't know how many of you have seen this, but this is truly fascinating to me. Even though space is a vacuum and sound doesn't doesn't exist like it does on earth, when they sent out the Nasa-Voyager they found a way to convert each planet's own little...I'll call it a song...into audio that we can hear. I'll let you following youtube description explain:

From an original CD: JUPITER NASA-VOYAGER SPACE SOUNDS (1990) BRAIN/MIND Research
Fascinating recording of Jupiter sounds (electromagnetic "voices") by NASA-Voyager. The complex interactions of charged electromagnetic particles from the solar wind , planetary magnetosphere etc. create vibration "soundscapes". It sounds very interesting, even scary.

Listen to Jupiter, arguably the most majestic planet of them all:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e3fqE01YYWs

Universe = one song. Makes you think doesn't it? I'm going to post more planets in the following post so this one doesn't get too crowded. Make sure you listen to Saturn as well. Even though we understand Saturn is a necessity and very important when you hear Saturn's "song" maybe you'll understand why the astrologers of old had a good reason dubbing it a "demonic" planet. And how fitting that Earth is the one which sounds more "alive" than the rest...

Feel free mods to move this thread if it suits another board better than this one, but I felt it was relevant enough to astrology so I posted it here.

Edit: cannot make html active. If anyone can help, let me know. Thanks.

Omg thank you!! I love this.

Saturn sounds like a thousand screaming souls or something. And it seems like theres a faint church chorus in neptune.

That was very powerful for me. its seems all the sounds represent each planet and its characteristic or element. which just reiterates the power of astrology and how it blends into science. for instance, saturn is supposed to be a stern father (also found in mythology) and its sounds stern and authoritative to me. the planet neptune which is Ruler of the sea in mythology you can hear water, even though there is no water on the planet. uranus is different than the rest with a variety of sounds. This is so much why i believe in mythology.
This should definitely stay in astrology 2.0!
The universe is more powerful than we could ever imagine.

Adding some more here...

The first part of the video has Miranda and and IO. Thre rest in this video have already been posted: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5ZYFaEZV-aQ

This one has a one of Saturn's moons(Titan) which sound almost as creepy as Saturn itself: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6XLa6hvgeEE

Jupiter moon IO : (long version) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EAKXaUMZpOc

I wish I could find Mercury, Venus, Pluto, and The Moon but none of those are available I guess... Uranus doesn't sound scary to me, but it is definitely eerie.

Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it as much as I did. It really does touch your soul, and it's amazing how each planet's little song fits the astrological symbols and myths we attribute to them.

Also Lexx, that video is amazing. It's in my favorites now, and yeah, I totally believe in life other than on this planet!

ive been looking for some of these.. ive heard the saturn one before i got to any of the other planets.. reminds me alot of the dubstep scene that's kind of picking up now amongst the youngsters.. but its not shocking as pluto is now in saturns domain.

did you know that if you literally found a body of water large enough and put saturn in it, saturn would float? apparently, it lacks substance that planet. it's very bouyant.

im also listening to the jupiter one now and i find it a bit surprising that it isn't louder or more majestic seeing as how jupiter gives out more energy than the sun itself... magnificent, nonetheless.

and o-m-g! could earth be a little more discreet? what is that sound? are those cars? we can hear them all the way out in space? jeez.. no wonder people report alien sightings. with all that racket, its no surprise.. what i am surprised though is that they havent landed and politely asked us to please keep it down. it almost sounds like a womb.

how weird.. its like being in space is like being in a womb.. and earth is like, the outside to both the womb that we were raised in and the womb of space.. fascinating!

According to the video, it is purely electro-magnetic waves from earth itself and not any of our technology that voyager picked up.(although I'm not sure if that's possible) It does sound like if you were inside the womb of a whale though...

Ooh, when I listened to this I thought of Pink Floyd, so I went on YouTube and found this track,(On The Turning Away), and then played them at the same time.
