Topic: Scorpio man with Virgo Venus and Mars

This man is very quiet. I work with him. He uses little terms of endearment like "sweetie" etc when he tells me good morning. He told me I looked nice this morning. He sits right next to me when we go out for break. He has asked me a few questions about myself and I asked him what he was going to school for and he said social services and then I asked what he wanted to do and he said, "help troubled teens" and I exclaimed, "that's what I want to do too!!" and then gave him a little enthusiastic arm hug with my hands. He hugged me today (so did his buddy/ my new buddy) because of a work situation that got me upset. He also said to his friend after they consoled me and tried their best to help fix the situation with the boss etc. that "now we don't have anything to look at, at work today" as a compliment to my looks. He and his friend have made a few gentle comments like that to let me know they find me pretty. He asked what I was doing this weekend since I couldn't go to the job today (I have too much overtime so they sent me home today, that was the situation) and I said I was working tonight at a concert but would be off at ten and would call his phone to see where they were/what bar so I could meet them and he said yes/absolutely something like that.
He also gave me his phone number the other day and I gave him mine but he didn't call and I didn't either because I figured he would call if he wanted to talk to me. He is just very quiet, yet fun and playful at work. But when he sits next to me... silence most of the time. I'm thinking we don't have "enough" connections astrologically. His Venus/Mars trines my moon and my Venus sextiles his Jupiter but that's about it for the big and close aspects. We have quite a few Quintiles and Bi-Quintiles too. I don't know his time yet and he is too young for me technically, but his Venus is loosely conjunct my Pluto so I am drawn to him. If we don't have many big aspects does that mean we won't have a very close relationship or won't be able to find common ground? There are about 6 Quintiles and my Venus to his Mars is a biQuintile and our Mars biQ too. I read a few months ago that Quintile is a creative aspect.... hmmmm... His moon could be either Leo or Virgo and it is hard to tell because he already has so much Virgo energy and he doesn't show many Leo qualities... so our moons might be trine. I'll ask him his time tonight.
I guess I'm just wondering about what a lack of close aspects will do... since he hits my moon so nicely with his Venus/Mars. There are not any really close tense aspects either. It is strange.

Silence is very good as if he sits near to you..
I am a scorpio sun girl,and when I attracted or affected some man when we are alone or very near to each other I will be silent person..Silence is very big power..And I use this many times,especially when I am alone..So I watch the man behaviours,emotions etc..

changchiu, thank you so much for your post. I hadn't considered it was a Scorpio thing... or at least not a positive Scorpio thing. I thought it might be a Virgo shyness or quietness and thought it might be that Scorpio just wasn't that interested... but I hadn't considered the power of silence. It certainly does cause a reaction in me. Either I am just soaking up his presence slightly, or I babble on to others around me because I feel like actually being present in the moment and soaking up the energy between us is almost "too intimate" when we are right there with others.

Hi eskimono Thank you for the welcome back. I picked up a free for a month introductory internet disc so I am back online for a bit... and hopefully totally soon. The promise of Spring and this new romantic interest has pulled me out of the depths and into the world. Thank you for letting me know that you also are silent in a similar situation, as a Scorpio yourself. This is valuable insight. I guess it makes sense that I would feel like a bug under a microscope when he is both Scorpio and Virgo energy. Hmmm...

This is his horoscope for today. Since our "relationship" technically started when we met a week ago, I'm guessing this would only apply if we throw ourselves into each other's arms and declare our undying devotion tonight when I meet up with him? Or is this just what is meant to happen in his life right now and if I run away because I'm in the astrological know-how we can escape this fate? Or does it mean I should just throw myself into it and enjoy the short ride with someone too young for me?  I really was looking forward to knowing someone with similar goals etc. even as a friend. This horoscope/aspect worries me. Ahhh the pitfalls of having insight into the workings of the Universe. :/

venus trine moon is wonderful!!!!!em a big fan of venus/moon/sun aspects cz they're all so lovey-dovey....aww....his pluto(ruler of sun) is a singleton in an air sign.
u've plenty of planets in air signs
ur chart lacks water while he has 3 planets in scorpio...
so somwhere u complete each other. ur sun conj his sun/moon midpt(even if he's a pm birth)!!!..
his moon sq ur sun/moon midpt(most probably) if he's an a:m birth,
his moons' in ur 7th conj ur vertex. composite

i once dated a scorpio with only jupe in virgo & he was no where near silent. he was one of those jocks with sun/mars/pluto conj in scorpio. but over all he was a naieec guy. i find possessive & jealous scorps really attractive!!!they treat u like their property.... my partner's a virgo & he satisfies d term "silent" appropriately. i don't expect ur scorp dude to be a major flirt coz afta all he's a virgo venus!!!...they take like years...fortunately my dude's venus's in leo otherwise he would've "hated"a chick like me...

First of all, DROOL! I was totally giggling when I read your initial post! The quiet, shy thing is just an exterior, TRUST ME! Can you imagine what's underneath all of that?Second of all, I'm a Scorpio Riser, and Scorpio/Pluto heavy, and if you'll know when i'm interested in you when i don't talk to you. When i even avoid you. Why do i do this? Because i want to feel out your temperament and personality and figure out how to adapt appropriately. I want to impress you and not scare you away. Forget the quintiles, you and this guy have first rate, textbook synastry. Unfamiliar with progressed synastry, aren't you? Let me introduce you.First, I wanna take a look at his numbers. He is a birthday #3, which denotes someone who lives to communicate, think, & travel. Next, I look at his Lifepath #, which is a 7. Whenever I see the number 7 I think Neptune/Pisces. Does Pisces like alone time, is Pisces like secrets? Yes & yes. He will have a lot of secrets, to say nothing of his Scorpio sun. As a 7 lifepath, I can attest to the time alone thing. We love being around people but are also highly self-protective. I don't know about secretive - self-protective is more like it. If you push us though, we do become secretive
7's are also hugely sacrificial in their compassion (most are. I'm sure there are exceptions LOL). Showing loyalty is important and also showing respect of their time alone, as well as not rushing them. IP: Logged |

my scorpio is insanely quiet (unless we're just goofing around). he has mars virgo (and virgo venus in draco). drives me nuts sometimes but it's all very subtle and he's VERY aware of my feelings, i'd say COMPLETELY emotionally present, at all times. i feel blessed.IP: Logged |

Oh Girls! I just got back from "work" today and woah do I have some news. I have so many thoughts and thank yous for all of you. I can't stay online and write it all because he is GOING TO CALL ME TONIGHT (and my lame free internet is dial up and makes the phone busy when I am online). We just got done "getting together" and having a wonderful time with his Taurus buddy/now my new Taurus buddy. We all couldn't stop laughing. I hadn't felt that good in such a long time. Laughing will do wonders for your soul. There is a verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry dark side to all of this. And the interpretation of the daily horoscope is becoming clear. I have so much to say but just got online to type his time into astro.com. It is around 11pm and Iowa City, IA for the birth place. I just had to read what you all had to say after this whirlwind of a day and re-read what my own thoughts were not too many hours ago. I will come back tonight after he and I talk and type more. changchiu I am going to re-read Linda's Sun Sign Scorpio chapter! Also, he does know my nickname "Mystic Melody" because it is on my MySpace and FB. We were sitting outside of work yesterday on break and he had asked me what I liked to do etc and I told him I liked to go see live bands and sing karaoke and walk in state parks and camp... and that I was an astrologer. He said, "I figured that out" and I told him I wanted his time etc and he told me. depth, I was just getting interested in the conversations about draconic charts so I am still mostly in the dark there but learning. I think draconic is the soul connection? And then you read it like any other chart? As for the progressed charts, I don't really understand that at all. I know how to look at my progressed chart on astro.com and I have an idea that it represents how I have grown or where my planets are at this time... but I get fuzzy there so I can't wrap my mind around what you are saying about our progressed... I'm guessing it it our composite progressed? You mention a lot of South Node contacts and this really interests me because not only do we both want to help troubled teens due to our "been there, shouldn't have done that" (his words) mentality, but my South Node is in Leo so I have a lot of lessons to learn in that area. continued in next post...

depths, I was checking out the ascendant trine Venus aspect. I included the conjunction below because the trine references it. Anyway, the friendship, the sense of alliance, the friends in common and the feeling of excitement... yes that is all exact. And there is romance. I can't put it all into words because yes yes there is a lot that is subtle and beautiful but yesterday they were standing at my car talking to me about where we were going to go to play pool and have a drink after work and there had just been a St. Patrick's Day parade on the street we were standing on and as they both walk back to their truck, I see T bend down in front of my car and he pops up examining something in his hand and then starts forward back toward me, pauses for a split second considering and looks down at his hand again, and then kind of playfully bounces forward with a grin to my door and hands it to me (it is a small plastic green shiny circle/coin with a four leaf clover on it) and as I am exclaiming with delight, he says, "For good luck!" and then retreats back to his buddy's truck.
Ascendant conjunction Venus: This is a great aspect for romance and physical attraction. They tend to both sit up and take notice of each other. The ascendant individual tends to initiate the first contact and may be the first to notice the Venus individual. The Venus individual is capable of making the ascendant individual feel good about him/herself and loved. Friendship results in other circumstances.
Ascendant trine sextile Venus: This is very similar to the conjunction listed above, but may not be as keenly felt. It brings about friendship and alliances if romance is not a possibility. i've heard that draco aspects in synastry can point out to a possible soul mate.
i usually emphasise a lot on conjunctions & oppositions.
there are 2 types of draconic comparisons:
draco-draco
draco-natal.
donno how many compare draco with progressed charts.

meta_4, yes over the days we worked together he opened the door for me a dozen times, said "let me get that" or "I'll get that" to any heavy box (many of the guys helped me out that way) and our hands started touching an awful lot as time went on. He pretty much made it obvious that he liked me a lot last night (with words and some touches) and he asked me if I wanted to get together today. He is at a different job today... taking down the tents from that parade event... so I'm guessing he will call me after work, but who knows. The important thing is to get my mind straight so I'm thinking about composing a new "Mr." thread in Soul Unions. Then you'll know alllll about how I feel about him. Nine, you are exactly right about the secrets and yet his being surprisingly forthright about them. Over the course of the week there were things he and his buddy would allude to and I would let it pass or make a joke... "I suppose I should ask what you have to do Thursday" etc. But then he would tell me just enough and I would say, "Oh, you're not going to tell me?" and he said, "Not yet" implying we would be getting to know each other more in the future. He has told me so much now but I do wonder about what is left to be told. You said:

Does this mean that we were both fated to be "in the mood" to go out and have fun at the same time? Or that my feminine self was at the same point in time as his masculine self and they clicked? Ok, you already answered me... you said:

I finished the Soul Unions thread last night and talked to him on the phone after. I told him I wrote on a spiritual astrological message board and he said it was cool and he would check it out and I said, No Way! I wrote about YOU! and I told him that's why I wasn't going to tell him. Told him I wrote to the girls (and the few guys would read it) and they uplifted me or consoled me depending on what the situation required. He said, "That's cool" in a meaningful tone. At the end of the conversation I told him, "I will tell you one thing I wrote..." and said in a 'this is so confusing and I have a lot to think about' tone: "because I'm STUPID... I am calculating the price of stamps..." and he laughed and said, "I'm not asking you to write every day, just drop me a letter from time to time. Don't forget about me." And I said playfully, "Well, I don't have to write to you at all... I wouldn't want to bother you...." and he said, "I'm not saying THAT! You can write to me every day if you want to..." and then quickly and quietly he said, "I'll write you back."
So, anyway, read Soul Unions and then smack some sense into me... or do your best while this Libra argues with you to get things straight in her brain. I am logical, but I am not detached from this situation and need lots of debate from both sides to make a balanced decision.
