I was just reading about Belgz's Solar arcs and I was wondering about my solar return chart for this year. I'm really just introducing myself to the solar return chart, seems fascinating.

This year for my SR chart I noticed that the Sun conjuncts Moon in the first house Libra, with Venus, Saturn, Mercury in the 12th house... So far it's been a year of study of new insights and looking within myself, alot of personal development.

Any more tips on how I could interpret the chart further?
And what have been your own experiences with regards to analysing your SR chart and what actually happened that year?

M. Shea has a great book on Solar Returns. I think you got the idea - it shows the state of your internal life, your focus, your needs, your energy. not actual events. these also depend on
1. what you do 2. what others do
=transits, SA, etc

Saturn show what you will feel as a burden, not actual blocks or difficulties. Jupiter shows what you may like that year, not actual "luck" or whatever. The planets stand for their usual meanings, it just that everything is on the "inside", working as a "drive towards". Uranus in the 4th may show you'd like to change your house or move out of independence needs, not an actual move.

a lot of solitude....i had a bunch of planets in my 12th solar return. i won't bore you with my last year but it was a lot of time spent by myself and restructuring my life.

Cristiname.... Thank you..."Saturn show what you will feel as a burden, not actual blocks or difficulties".... This helps me understand a great deal about SR charts....I am going through Saturn return also (natal Saturn in the 12th) so this year is an inside/out Saturn restructuring for me. It's like I feel an emotional/intellectual maturity shaping my focus... incidentally on my career (SR mars in 10th house).....It absolutely describes my solitude....alot of coursework and study as well as personal reflection, but the SR sun/moon conjunction is exact so I was thinking this would be a highly significant year also.

Personally I think it indicates that I am on the right path career-wise.

Cappy1227..."a lot of solitude....i had a bunch of planets in my 12th solar returnW... was that physical solitude or were you isolated in your mind? BY this I mean did you do inner searching...

Was there anything significant happening in transists that year also?
