If someone's Sun, Moon and Venus are overlayed in my 4th house (the Moon & Cancer), wouldn't they trigger emotions in me that would make me feel and act like a Cancer towards them? That's sort of how I feel..

I have a Scorpio ascendant, but I don't think that completely explains the way I feel about this one person.
His Pluto is in my 12th, and his Jupiter and Chiron are in my 8th.. I have very strong feelings for him not just purely sexual but a warm closeness, deep trust.
Can anyone share their thoughts about any of this?

Makes sense considering your water houses are heavily triggered, but I wouldn't go so far as to say that they make you act Cancer-like, hitting the water houses it's more like they open the valves on your emotional life, giving you permission to be more open about these things while with them.

Triggering someone's water houses (esp if you don't have many water placements) can feel very deep. If it makes you feel like a Cancer, then it makes sense with the 4th house association. It would mean your protective of him as well.

The house person, I would think, since they're the one without as much water and it feels like a new thing for them...sorry I wasn't clear when I wrote 'you' (I just realized the statement was vague lol).

I love overlays in 4th house in synastry. AFter all it is the house of the Moon, so everything there feels extra deep.
Of course if someone`s Saturn is in your 4th house, there might be some painful feelings as well.
I think that whenever someone has Sun or Moon or ASC or any personal planet there, you somehow can`t "hide" from that person, even though sometimes you might want to.
For some p eople it is tricky, when they donīt really want other persons come close into their souls.

My best friend has her Moon in my 4th house, sextile my Moon exactly (rules my 8th house) and squares my Saturn exactly, which falls into my 8th house.

She knows me completely inside out, even those things I try to hide some times. I canīt pretend to be anything I am not, and sometimes she knows my feelings better than I do or am willing to admit to myself.
Of course with my Saturn in 8th squaring her Moon, I have often hurt her by my defensive reaction in the past.
But for some reason she just accepts it compassionately as a part of myself (that is how Moon in 4th house can be).
