How basically would this work?
Sun libra with sun in leo
moon both in taurus
Merc in scorpio, merc in leo
Venus in scorp, venus in cancer
mars in scorp, mars in virgo

is there anyway to be able to tell any karmic.pastlife influences through our charts? I have them saved at astro.com.

It would depend on the degrees, because Leo and Libra are supposedly good matches but that is only when they are sextile otherwise the two signs don't aspect each other. Same with the Taurus moon, if your moon signs are conjunct than they maybe conjunct, which means you have similar emotional habits, but when you share the same moon sign as the your partner be prepared for a emotional and clingy vibe.

It would depend of the age of the individuals, but by progression I see the Libra's pSun in Scorpio in trine to the Leo's nVenus, and also forming a opposition to the Leo's nMoon. With just one progression the Libra is able to touch both feminine placements of the Leo. I would go out on a limb and say the Libra plays the dominant/masculine role in this relationship...assuming there is a relationship.
