Hi guys,What are the benefits of having progreesed sun square neptune? Are there any?lol My friend had this and he said that physically he was very tired and was sick alot. IP: Logged |

I'd think it would be draining, yeah. Neptune tends to drain by dissolve. Anything 1st house or 6th house getting hit, btw - houses or rulers of those houses? That might add to it.Positive stuff would be stuff along the lines of spirituality, maybe being more interested in it, or working to integrate it. Maybe dreams would be more prominent. An interest in 'those less fortunate' would arise....thereby leading to work with charities or volunteering, etc...
Think anything having to do with Pisces or Neptune. Maybe it would go so far as being about inspiration for more artistic pursuits/interests. That's just off the top of my head...they're very general. I know that the square, being a 'hard aspect' would make it seem less friendly, but that doesn't mean that would take away from what it has to offer. The theme remains, I think. Where is Neptune, anyway? What house? And where's your friend's progressed sun located, house-wise? IP: Logged |

Ah crap i forgot, my friend has had the transit not the progression. transit neptune was in his 11th house and his sun is on the cusp of his 8th.I am going to have the progressed aspect though....
My progressed sun is in the 5th house now and in 2 years it will be square neptune on the cusp of the 8th IP: Logged |

PROGRESSED SUN-NEPTUNE Your illusions will be in the spotlights and so are your secrets. Oh please. Nice, soft aspects = good.
Hard aspects = bad.
Who the hell is anyone to decide how anything will turn out, or the attitude of the person?
I'm sorry, Bruce - I just react badly to such cookbook interpretations. Tension might be there with hard aspects, but so what?
My hard Neptune transits to my Moon (the SQUARE) made me have super vivid daydreams and a passion for reading tarot. I learned all kinds of stuff. I also felt all kinds of things on deeper levels... it was amazing.
Sure, there were problems, but the whole experience was rewarding.

Yeah thought so on the interpretation.About 3 years ago my progressed sun was trining mars in the 12, that was really mindblowing/profound. Now with this upcoming square to neptune I can probably expect the same energy...but ofcourse more intensely because the square has more energy than a trine IP: Logged |

Here I feel compelled to second MVM. It gets frustrating seeing these type of interpretations banded around and swallowed down whole. Squares are tricky but they can be driving forces that make things happen. Maybe he gets this one and it gives him a tough time but there are some good things it brings too, and maybe afterwards he gets to see things a different way that enriches his life. IP: Logged |

Nobody can achieve anything worthwhile without at least one square, semi-square or opposition in the chart.Sun sq Neptune in any form will propel the individual to achieve something worthwhile in matters of spirituality or awakening to higher realities. Not rising to this occassion will drown the individual in any kind of addictive behaviour- drugs, porn, alcohol, manic-depression ... IP: Logged |
