Teasel,

I`m sorry you have to go through such a tough time. And yet there are lucky incidents, too, as your DAd surviving a crash,e ven though I imagine how shocked you must have felt when you heard there was a crash.

My mum had an accident while jogging some time ago; she fell flat on her chest, and she admits, that for a few minutes she thought: That was it.
All I knew was that my Dad arrived home to tell us he had called the emergency to get her into hospital, but he didn`t know anything more.
LUckily, she wasn`t injured; by falling onto her chest her lungs had been pressed together and leaving out the oxygene, that was why she felt like she couldn`t breathe, but as I said luckily it was nothing serious.
Yet, the fear I felt was really horrible. So I sympathize with you.

And don`t let anyone ever keep you from sharing your thoughts and fears, especially if it serves as a means to relieve your heart a bit. I think that is what we are here for; at least I am.
I don`t appreciate people telling other people they are "whining" (or with similiar words) and making them lock in their feelings (and fear and sadness are feelings, too) in their hearts. That just hardens the heart.

We all have our personal stories here, and some are sad sometimes.
I refuse to suppress any feeling EVER AGAIN. I have done that for too long in my life. And those so called - negative- feelings are there for a reason, too.

For example through that fear and sadness, as awful that is, you probably feel most strongly how much you love your family. At least that is what I felt, when my grandfather was having a stroke. Beneath all the negative feeligns there was a sudden realization of just how much I love my family and am loved by them, and what a tight knit bunch we are, and it touched me deeply.

Anyway Teasel, I hope that you will be able to see the good soon again, and that you still have a little smile inside your soul, despite it all.

Personally I feel like a bit of an alien right now; it seems that so much is breaking down around us, economy, earthquakes, personal sicknesses and so on, and for now I am just standing in awe here and thinking: This life is so beautiful, and I am so grateful that I can spend it on this earth in this time with these people around me. There is no place, no time I would rather be.

I`told you I am a bit weird. In the cases of crisis I suddenly start seeing rainbows all over.

Diandra,

these fairy tales are deeply psychological, yes, you are right.

I mean come on, a blood red flower with a pearl in the middle?

Lol well if jwhop says hes a muslim then it "MUST be true.

Anyway i dont see how it makes a difference even if he was. He doesnt make policy based on his religious beliefs, unlike a few other idiotic presidents we've had. The most christian politicians are the ones who are anti abortion, pro abstinence only education and allow their religions to seep into their policy making. I find that completely inappropriate."

Exactly. It shouldn't matter what religious affiliation a president belongs to. USA is not a Christian nation. It's a nation of religious, spiritual diversity. He/She could be any religion, but he/she shouldn't let his religious beliefs influence his/her policies.

I am a liberal Democrat, and I believe in separation of church and state.

We shouldn't let religious beliefs infringe upon the rights of others which has been going on here in USA in one way or another.

i seriously dont care at all about obamas religious orientation whatsoever. i posted the article because it seemed to relate to whwat dd was saying. i had nor do i have any intions on turning this into a political thread. if i wanted political debate, i would be over in GU right now.

Well the astrologer who wrote the article didn't get his facts straight, and so I responded to the article. It's common knowledge that President Obama is a Christian and has even been rumored a muslim. Of course, there was the fiasco with his longtime pastor,Reverend Wright which made him have to leave his church.

Also the astrologer just focused on one aspect and came to a conclusion. He didn't bother to look at the whole entire chart. Astrologers can't just look at one aspect and figure out a person by that aspect. If they do that, then they misunderstand the person. They have to look at the big picture. Astrologers look for repeating themes aka signatures.

heck...I have Jupiter oppose retrograde Saturn myself, but it squares Moon in Pisces which squares Neptune in Sagittarius which also opposes the retrograde Saturn. I am a strong believer in God. I was only an atheist for a couple of years when I was in the navy. My religious, spiritual beliefs with Neopaganism,New Age,New Thought, and Unitarian Universalism. I believe in tolerance and acceptance of religious diversity. I value both spirituality and critical thinking. I believe that we need both. I am a member of an interfaith unity church.

There hasn't been any debate. It's just exchange of views.

DD, no I hadn't heard of this tale before. Thank you, I enjoyed reading it and it's message to me is clear. Every solution begins as a thought form, which may even come in a dream. The answer always lies within each of us. The pearl, symbolic of wisdom, which is power over fear and darkness, bestows him with his amazing and impenetrable courage. Sweet victory!

I'm just beginning to read "The Twelfth House" by Karen Hamaker-Zondag. Fairy tales are very 12th house and they exist and persevere to teach us necessary survival lessons. When we read the well preserved versions of these symbolic tales to children, we gift them with knowledge that later becomes an important source of strength and victory against the shadow aspects of the soul. Fairy tales encourage the master builders, the creative inventors, and super heroes to dream. These are the characters I choose to cast in my play. My focus is clear when there is adequate light.

Mermaid,

I agree on the importance and symbolism of fairy tales.
I also think they are home in the 12th house, but probably mostly tied to 4th and 5th house as well.
I think I read in Hamaker Zondag`s book that people with ruler of 5th house in 12th house have a very innate understanding of the fairy tale world.
I loved her book on houserulers!

CPN,

thank you.

Mystic Melody,

I am glad you like this thought.
Actually my mum told me a few days ago, that all of her children (I have three brothers), have at one time said, during the ages 1-3: Life is beautiful, which she sais were among the happiest moments of her life as a parent.

"i can't agree about lennon...one of the last things he said publicly was "peace and love NEVER go out of fashion", ie though he no longer put anyone in a position of "guru" he still believed in the spiritual ideas he espoused via the maharishi...who turned out to be very human (to be kind) and not a saint at all..."

I agree. I think that he was very spiritual in his own way.

Astrologers would point out his wide Moon trine Neptune

but

his Sedna was in 20'07 Aries R
conjunct his Ascendant in 19'54 Aries

That's only 13 minutes of arc. That's a very prominent Sedna. He's Sedna-Man.

This could indicate a nonconformist, otherworldly, environmentally aware/conscious in his persona, how he approaches life, and how relates to others.

Sedna has the greatest average distance of any object in our solar system by far. It makes Neptune look mundane. It's named after the Inuit Sea/Ocean Goddess who was also the ruler of the Underworld called "Adlivun" It seems like a combination of a higher version of Neptune combined with Pluto.

according to Philip Sedgwick's preliminary keywords for Sedna based on the mythology, astronomy, its North Node and Perihelion at the time of its discovery:

Positive - a forgiving disposition, discernment, clarity of perception, recognition of free will and choice, responsible, conscious of consequence, far thinking, dharma-oriented, does the homework of life

Negative - victimization, abuse, being deceived, history of betrayal, bitterness, “gold digging” attitude in relationship, transfers blame to others, numbs out, goes unconscious

Mundane - blubber, products made from sea mammals, whaling, diving bells that go into the dark of the sea, emotional healing, forgiveness, sorrow, engagement, masks, flight of the birds

Ceremonial - cleansing in the sea, propitiation to the sea, sea creatures, use of sea creature talismans (walrus tusk carvings, scrimshaw), ceremony with masks of sea creatures, ceremonial masks in general

Geocentric North Neptune Node in 12'49
square Jupiter in 13'41 Taurus R
square Saturn in 13'12 Taurus R
the merging of expansion/optimism/judgment and structure/realism/rigidity was connected to collective idealism, inspiration, imagination, mysticism

The Jupiter-Saturn conjunction is modified by the square to the Geocentric North Neptune Node.

Geocentric South Neptune Node in 9'23 Aquarius
square his Mercury in 8'33 Scorpio
trine/sextile North Lunar Nodes
indicates his mind, thinking, communications, and associations, was connected to collective idealism, inspiration, imagination, mysticism which could be linked to the past.

He also has Neptune direct midpoints

Sun conjunct Mercury/Neptune midpoint - 1'01
self expression, ego combine the integration of the mind, communications, thinking and imagination, inspiration, idealism, mysticism

note: he also has Mercury square Geocentric South Neptune Node
(He was Dyslexic which one that thinks mainly in pictures, have strong visualization abilities and not just difficulty with language/words...mainly a strong right hemisphere, nonlinear thinker)

" Lennon attended Liverpool's Dovedale Primary School and later the Quarry Bank High School. Only late in life, Lennon discovered that his lifelong inability to spell and tendency to transform one word into another of similar sound was a sign of dyslexia." http://www.kirjasto.sci.fi/lennon.htm

Mars conjunct Neptune/Node midpoint - '51
assertion, passion, physical drive, aggression combine with the integration of imagination, inspiration, idealism, mysticism and associations.

Neptune conjunct Sun/Venus midpoint - 1'17
imagination, inspiration, idealism, mysticism combine with the integration of the ego, self expression, vitality and love, relationships, aesthetics, value systems

IQ, you talk of this ascension thing which sounds like jibber jabber to me but I will play devils advocate. Are people supposed to ascend naturally, can you ascend in death, if you don't ascend and die are you screwed? Anyone can answer, not just IQ.

I've been feeling this damn build-up for many years, so I find it interesting that it's 'suddenly' being noticed as some big change.
The world doesn't do much BUT change every day.
A few people notice it and suddenly think it's something new, but it's really not.

"Whenever you know too much and try to speak out about it you get killed"

Now, that`s a really positive attitude.

BTW how do you know you know too much?

What is it, that you know, that others don´t and are not supposed to know? And how do you know they don´`t know or are not supposed to know?

Is this about the "government poisons water" thing?

No but I thought that they could possibly be doing that as a result of people as a whole starting to learn too much but I realized that I was being a paranoid freak last night.

It`s not the world that is changing, we are.

And at some times we have more awareness of it, than at other times.

And yes, I agree, MVM, it is not like someone snaps their fingers and the change is there, it has been building for years and years, and I have also felt it during the last years.
But there always have been points in time when I felt it STRONGER than at other times.
And I feel like the intensity increases.

But I admit, that it probably is mainly due to my own development.

DD, yeah...it's definitely a reflection of the inner life and development. Seems like you're emerging from some kind cocoon, getting ready to. Metamorphosis is almost complete, or you've just come OUT of there so your senses are very heightened.

s - you notice a lot of things lately.

i noticed the clouds are moving slowly in a easterly direction but the trees seem to be blowing westerly today.

it seems my pants fit a little tighter today i noticed that, and yet they fit perfectly fine last week, what in the world could it mean? (dont answer that question)

there have been more blue cars than red cars driving past my work today...interesting.

just enjoy life....

or i might think you "know too much, hunt you down and have you offed to hush you up"

lighten up.

we alll have our moments though! i love conspiracy theories and get carried away sometimes too!

Whut? If there is a conspiracy then its against the grass. People are about to cut it up. I don't buy into conspiracy hogwash. I realized last night that the mind plays tricks on people. The only thing that is real is what is done with the senses. This talk about spirit stuff is just being done to make money off of the naive new agers. The 2012 movie made a killing off of the sheep.

To a certain extent, I agree about the New Age-y stuff. It's easy to make a killing off people who are spiritually vulnerable. Spirituality has turned corporate, which has made it very mainstream and milquetoast.
People's personal observations are now spread thin into categories in which they must be spiritually palatable.
If you don't agree with the way corporate spirituality is being presented, you get a bunch of people calling you 'spiritually unevolved', or not ready for truth or whatever. I think that type of thing is BS personally.
