North Node to the Moon:

Changes in mood and temperament with increased sensitivity. There are new domestic conditions and changes involving family members - often an increase through births. The nesting instinct becomes stronger. Women play a significant role in the life, often wiht some benefit from them. Affairs of the mother or mother figure come into focus. There may be increased support from others, favor or popularity. Benefits and joy of a personal nature that are forthcoming are more in evidence after the contact. The matters of the house ruled by the Moon prosper, and opportunities open up. Similar themes are noticed with transiting North Node over progressed Moon, with positive developments in the progressed house ruled by the Moon.

The Moon partakes somewhat to the nodal contacts to the Ascendant axis, and signifies events quite personal in nature. Similar to the Ascendant tie, this frequently times a period of favor, popularity, and an exceptional amount of support from others. It is especially noted when public support is received. I posted the question because I noticed it was sitting right on my natal moon and I've been in a terrible mood recently - finding it hard to be my usual positive self. No motivation, no energy. Must be some other transit responsible for that then!
