An acquaintance of mind passed away sometime during the dawn today, while/after giving birth by C-section. The stated reason for her death was heart complications... (?... C-section, and her high blood pressure acted up?)

I remember that Linda Goodman has mentioned in Star Signs that surgery is counterproductive on days when the Moon is in the sign that rules the organs that are to be operated on.

Another online source mentioned that the Moon being in a mutable sign also has unfavorable results (last year, a friend of my friend died from surgery, when the Moon was in Sagittarius).

I checked today's transits, but the Moon is currently in 22* Leo.

I am not aware of Leo having anything to do with childbirth, so I guess the rule about "iron piercing the organs ruled by the sign which the Moon is transiting" is ruled out...

However, Leo does rule the heart, and they did say that her death did have something to do with the heart.

I'm asking here... What information have I (and everybody) missed out on, regarding surgery and unfavorable results? ...

In case you want to see her chart, here it is.

I do not know her birth time, so I just punched in the time that would place her Sun in the first house...

I could see a Cardinal T-square involving
- natal SATURN in Cancer,
- natal PLUTO conjunct transiting SATURN in Libra,
- transiting PLUTO in Capricorn

But then, she's not the only one experiencing these aspects, since the planets involved are generational...

*PLEASE EXCUSE the thumbs up icon, there's a glitch on the site from my end that the mods can't fix*

There's actually a cardinal grand cross, with the addition of t.Sun, her NN is also in Capricorn, and has been conj. transiting Pluto.
Mars is also square t.Mars

It's hard to say much because house placement and rulership are v.important, you could look @ progressions too.

Was the c-section planned, or emergency?

I am very sorry about her death.

I agree with the grand cross transit. It's very possible that her planets being aspected are angular in some way.

It's hard to really know without birthtime.
The Midheaven,Ascendant,and houses are important.

my condolences to you,her family, especially her child.

HUGS

I have no astrological wisdom to offer, but just wanted to say I'm sorry for your loss. Incredibly tragic for a mother to pass on the day her child is born.

Hello, everyone.

Thank you for your responses, your concern, and additional information...

Um, yes I think she did have heart problems before this...

-

This weekend is weird. Yesterday morning I heard news about our friend who passed away; and then in the evening I found out that my other Libra friend (whose Sun is probably conjunct the mother's, above) had to go to the ER, for severe sinus attack (shortness of breath, *extremely* low blood pressure, on top of that - poor hospital service). He received about 4 injections, and is currently on medication (which lasts for only 4 days so he's gonna be fine, but that was one hell of a sinus attack).

Today an Aries friend (transiting Sun conjunct his Sun) has a headache. (I don't recall him often having headaches, so this is unusual, for me)...

Oh well. I don't want to read too much into health issues and astrology. But to me it's a pretty odd weekend.

And as usual, I'm okay... No major health problems and I'm grateful for this... (I'm Cancer/Capricorn, cardinal signs)

Hope everyone here is having a great weekend.

Peace,
Tones
