i was just wondering, anyone whos had serious romantic interests in some one, is there a patern with the 7th house ruler? i read a page about 7th house sign and what people need and look for in a partner and what kind they attract. i looked at some past charts and syanstry and in my most serious interests, i have found that.. well, my 7th house ruler is uranus, i have found that the uranus in the other persons chart, has been in aspect to my venus, hard aspect typically. i have found for the other, their 7th house, say is Capricorn, well Saturn in my chart, aspected their venus, hard aspect as well. (square) and we had a serious interest for a long term association. is this a pattern similar for anyone else? the 7th house ruler of your natal, in your partner/love interests chart is in aspect particularly hard, to your venus natally? e.g. your 7th house is cancer, their moon is in aspect to your venus? how about 7th house rulers from both charts conjunct? any meaning to that? Hey - I like this..I'm 80% that my 7th is Capricorn. So I would be looking at Saturn.. and in my best relationship, we have a grand trine in synastry involving his Saturn and my own (and both our Suns). Most importantly his Saturn is exactly conjunct my Sun. But nothing to do with Venus. IP: Logged |

interesting..i actually think that the 7th house ruler aspects to another person does play a role in attraction and relationships.no wonder i always fall for people whose planets aspect my Venus..my 7th house is Taurus. IP: Logged |

How much older or younger have you partners been? Because Uranus is a slow moving planet, everyone your age will have an aspect to your venus (if i remember correctly you have a natal venus/uranus aspect right?). I have the square. Everyone ive dated has had their uranus squaring my venus because theyve all been around my age.IP: Logged |

interesting, Letram, that it was the planet in the OTHER chart, that were your 7th house ruler in your chart. I would have thought we can only look to your 7th house ruler in your chart aspecting the planets in the partner chart. But actually, there seems to be a p attern for me, too. Mercury is my 7th house ruler. And usually my planets will make many aspects to their Mercury (but also to my own Mercury). Of course in the cases I am thinking of, Mercury is ruler of their 7th, 1st, 5th or 8th house as well. IP: Logged |

the idea isour venus is how we would like to be loved. our dsc represents who we attract and what we want, and how we want to be loved as well. if for example your 7th house is in aquarius, you attract and look for uranus/aquarius types, when ones uranus is aspecting your venus, you are getting the energy you desire from the other, onto the planet that represents how you wish to be loved i just thought it was a potential pattern, i looked at my most serious romance interest and we shared this pattern, the planet in my chart which is their 7th house ruler, aspect their venus. and vice versa. the planet that offers the energy they desire is aspecting their venus, thats the idea. My 7th house ruler is Aries/Mars...I have a lot of Mars energy in my chart, it is trine my ASC/5th house and conjunct my Sun, so the men I fall for are always very typically alpha male, very textbook/cliche what you would expect of someone with mars ruling their 7th house cusp. So, with the Leo (my current paramour)... we both hit each others Mars a lot. His Mars does in fact square my Venus. My last relationship (1.5 years) does not hold up to this theory. His Mars is at 29 Leo and my Venus is 19 Sag. However, his Aqua Moon sits right on my Sun/Mars conjunction. The Pisces psycho... nope... his Mars is 27 Cap. The ex-husband, his Mars squares my Venus. I want to say, that I do believe we are strongly attracted to people who make aspects to out 5th, 7th & 8th houses. All these guys aspect my Mars and have strong aspects and placements in the other two houses. Anyhow, thats my anecdata for you! IP: Logged |

I would appreciate your answer to this question as I am on the verge of getting depositers. In your quote above----you find the planet which rules the 5th, 7th and 8th houses--right? Then, you see what that planet does with your partners various planets. Then, you can see how you and he will be in what the house rules----right--like partnership, fun, career etc. Thanks so much for any help.

Ami Ann,yes, exactly that way, and I definitely agree on 5th, 7th and 8th house. I would also compare it to the 1st and 2nd house, as these houses denote our physicality. So if someone`s 5th house ruler is conjunct their partner`s 2nd house ruler, there might be a very sensual affectionate interplay (2nd house is a Venusian-Taurus house). A connection could also be made if, planets are positioned in 5th,7th or 8th house. Some I have liked for many many years has his Venus in my 5th house, trine my Venus in my 1st house - so for me the emphasis is on 5th and 1st house, especially the 5th, since HIS planet falls there. Another reason for the 5th house being emphasised for me, is that Venus rules my 5th house, as the cusp of my 5th house falls into Taurus (and Taurus is Venus-ruled). (My Venus also rules my 6th and 10th house) He was my inspiration, my muse. When I met him, all my dormant creativity was being unleashed. I instantly started writing poems, and have written hundreds of poems over the next four years. His Venus falls into his 1st house and my Venus falls into his 10th house, with Venus ruling his 2nd and 7th house. For him it was more "career"-oriented. And right so, he is the musical actor who impressed me the most; as I said a big inspiration for me. And I guess my Venus in his 10th house shows the different, more unpersonal, job-oriented effect that it would have on him. Venus admires - and my Venus admires him in his professional, public environment (his 10th house).
Am I still on topic here?

Letram, that is an interesting and convincing deduction and explanation. I still think that your own 7th house ruler will be in effect, took, as their personal planets aspecting it, will trigger your DESC inside you. So I guess it makes sense to check both. IP: Logged |

As I understand it, that's another very important way in synastry that we can highlight certain houses for one another -- by making aspects to the house ruler in synsastry. I can't think of an exception I've found, where the house placements don't look very compelling, but you have a look at the house rulerships and aspects to those planets and it can be very illuminating IP: Logged | |
