It's Good Friday, so I have this free time to lounge around but this question as been on my mind ever since I started college.

These are some of things I wanted to do career wise:

1.Special Education Teacher
2.Social Worker
3.A Child Therapist
4.Not really a career but I wanted to start a theruputic art program for children with a disabilities because I have to quench my creative thirst.

I sometimes wonder if I am cut for this, my chart reminds me of how emotional I am or can be and I remember people telling me you have to be emotionally controlled for careers like this but I want to give my damnest though because I am really passionate about this.>.<

My Libra MC ruled by Venus in 8th house makes me think I am better off as a couple therapist then a child therapist.

Pluto is in my 10th house but if I use Whole House system it is in the 11th and that worries be a bit as well because sometimes I come off bad to other people even if I do nothing to give this impression.

With my five RX planets, I have study it is hard for people to relate to others with 3 or more RX planets..another worry factor because I want to do "social work".

There's also several planets aspecting my MC, later on I will try to find the orbs to find the closest aspect.

Edit:Closest aspect to my MC in order from closest to farthest:
- Sextile Mercury
- Sextile Jupiter
- Sextile Venus
- Sqaure Saturn

*le sigh* I really didn't want to post this chart with all the asteriods but my laptop is acting wierd today.

Fellow Pisces Moon that also wants to help special education needs children is awesome to me! Of course, you know that I was a special education needs child and benefited from great special education teachers that were very sensitive, compassionate, and understanding just like you. One lived on a boat. Was she a Pisces? hahahaha. I was romantically involved with a woman who worked with special education needs children. When she first mentioned that, I figured that she had Moon in Pisces. She does, and it is in 3rd house. She has Neptune conjunct the Ascendant. She has Dyslexia and ADHD. It was like finding a kindred spirit. She was also into metaphysical stuff. I met her in an Astrology chatroom. She and I are still friends. I want her to be one of my directors in Developmental Neurodiversity Association and be a consultant to it.

add me to yahoo messenger, facebook , I will give you an extensive, detailed reading free of charge.

I also want to point out that Venus rules your 5th house and it is conjunct Mercury and Jupiter, and it sextiles your Midheaven. Therefore, there is an opportunity to have a career that involves expanding the minds of children.

I strongly suspect that you have strong transneptunian energy, and I am correct about that.

I want to check the asteroids, Child and Dioretsa (Asteroid spelled backwards)in your chart too.

Cat - Your career choices make you even more adorable.

That Pisces moon, which is exalted in the 2nd house, is excellent for empathizing with people. The ability of which will give your life value and worth. Basically, you wouldn't be able to live proudly if you did a job that was cold and corporate because Pisces Moon is compassionate, gentle, empathetic, and highly intuitive, therefore, if you do a job which doesn't allow you to use those skills, you might not be happy because to use those skills and talents is closely linked to how good you feel about yourself. So, just the Moon in Pisces in 2nd says you can handle your chosen career.

There is also Chiron in 7th, which also speaks of empathy and intuition derived from your early years' experiences. By the tough life you have lead, you will be able to make others' paths easier.

I am sure there is more but I gotta scram.

Good Luck!

Glaucus-I am adding to my msn right now, thank you. I really need to get this out because Im about to finish my first year and I want to make sure that this is what I want do, well more like this is something I want to do but can I handle it because I have faced a little aversion in college over another matter but I feel that does not hinder me in doing something I am passionate about and I think it is better for me to do something productive with the lessons I learned in childhood instead of feel bad for myself and my situation, I want to give children a voice, I want them to know no matter how bad the situation they are in it will get better, that a disability is not a limitation, just because your deliquent does not mean your a lost cause, or that you come from a low-income family does not mean you have to give up on your dreams.

I know that sounds corny but thats how I feel.

Thank you Unmoved for that information, I will study this Exalted Pisces Moon and I will try best.<3

Ck, all 4 options would be great..seriously.

Pisces mooners i find are very compassionate and sensitive people who do work very well with children. My mama is a Pisces sun and if she chose a career it would have been as a kindergarten teacher, midwife or pediatric doctor or nurse.

All those planets in the 8th (mercury, venus, sun and jupiter), well that's a stellium dear and having that house ruled by Leo..the sign for children.. i think it shows a high sensitivity (as in awareness) and empathy for children, psyche in the 8th means your pretty tuned into people, especially the little ones.
That pisces moon only deepens that compassionate, humanitarian nature to motivate the person to do something about something that touches their hearts.

That's wonderful to hear, seriously And i wouldn't worry about not being able to emotionally handle this type of job, Saturn in the 1st house would help with that, i think.
I reckon if you do get into this, you will finally start feeling that inner beauty that you SO deserve to acknowledge about yourself and it will start radiating like an exploding star and just attract even more positivity in your life. Your are worth SO MUCH MORE than what you know or think

Thank you Diablo for your interpetation, I though my rx stelliums was going to be a problem socially though I can be social when I feel comfortable and even though pregnancies scares me a bit I like kids but I know some kids are never really given the chance to be kids and I want to give them that chance as well.

Also the beauty thread garsh neg egg..neg egg. lol, I too feel like this is going to make me open up and be positive, my EFT practitioner notices that my body seems to relax when I talk about my dreams, she thinks this is the best way to be a peace with my childhood and I am starting to think so too.

That is just absolutely fantastic to hear. I'm really glad to hear that you are "rising above it" cos i tell you, its god*anm hard to do and I respect those greatly who can.

Nah, that stellium you just had to learn how to work it properly..like i had to learn to how work my squares and oppositions. One of the greatest quotes said to me was, Through suffering we learn the basis of compassion (budha, i believe).
Focus on your dreams, Neptune is in your 1st house of self..they are the key to your healing. Your intuition is your weapon of mass creation, neptune being about compassion and selflessness..well, all the sh*t you went through was to teach you and to learn about yourself and face your insecurities so you can teach others to beat their own worst fears and God knows there are children out there who need a mentor like that.

Meh, dont worry about it. I have really bad ugly days too where i just want to book in a full face/body makeover with the plastic surgeon.
I mean, I had to become a stripper and have 100s of men be attracted to me and tell me i was beautiful and pay me for my beauty and turned it into a commodity as a result of my own insecurities..took awhile to figure out that i had a beautiful heart and the most beautiful thing about me is my ability to give with warmth, empathy and compassion.

I hope i dont sound up myself like i think i'm good or above anyone or anything like that. I have just had that many traumatic, abusive, heartbreaking experiences full of nothing but pain and suffering to come to this level of understanding and feel i can help others going through similar stuff. That's why i wanna be a psychologist
