Weekly Weather April 5, 2010A profound week appears before us! Earthquakes, eruptions, seismic activity, internal and external revolutions, volcanoes, and wars all seem to take place or intensify when Pluto stations. We see the manifestations of the Lord of the Underworld around us in the physical world as Mom Earth shakes her mantle and things fly around the room. We see the smaller version of eruptions, volcanoes, geysers and earthquakes in the local story taking place in our life ~ we have our world shaken up when Pluto stops in the sky.
Pluto wants us to understand every now and then the earth moves under our feet! While Mom Earth LOOKS nice and stable with all the pretty flowers growing on it, actually she is a thin skinned lady with hot magma inside her belly. We’ll run into a bit of that hot magma this week as Mother Earth rocks and rolls with Pluto’s demands.
Pluto stations on Tuesday. He will go retrograde until September. He will be at the degree of his station all week. He was at the degree of his station most of last week, during our week of No. Now Pluto says “Yes”, go, get busy and revise it! Go and revise your life! Bring your life into alignment with your dreams!”
You need to get busy fixing whatever Pluto brought to your attention last week. That needs to be set up properly before you can go forward with confidence towards your new life. Start working on it NOW!
Triangles and problems with triangles will be the place to watch for the volcano exploding in your life. Pluto is all about triangles. Three people in a struggle. Or two people and a beloved third object or thing that they struggle over. Saturn is all about the structure. The structure of the triangle and the nature of the struggle has to change ~ someone simply can’t take it any more and will erupt! After the eruption, the path ahead will be clear. (After the smoke, fire, smells and ash settle down, of course).
It is a GREAT week for secret love affairs to come to light, forcing people to take a stand. It is the week when all the exploding love stories in the media settle down and move towards their conclusion or next chapter. It is a great week for the situation that has been festering for a while, unheeded, ignored or unexamined, to erupt into your consciousness. Watch your dreams too! Pluto stations HAVE to bring the unconscious to consciousness. We become aware, in ways we can’t even anticipate, of what we need to become aware of.
It also is a week when medical diagnoses are made of conditions that were untreated or not clear. The path to healing or resolution is laid out.
The day after Pluto stations and erupts or explodes, Saturn reenters Virgo. Saturn is retrograde. He goes back into the sign of Virgo on Wednesday, to clean up the mess made by both Pluto and the leftover mess from the fall. Saturn will be in the sign of Virgo until July 21, 2010, bringing back the story from October 2009 for a sorely needed revision or resolution. While Saturn is moving backwards in Virgo, you have a chance to revise, revisit, redo that project that isn’t quite to your liking. You have until May 30, when Saturn stations to go direct. Then it will be full steam ahead into the cosmic cross roads.
In my case files, the following triangle stories are all shifting, changing and taking place: 1) Your wife tired of threatening to leave you if you don’t sober up, moves you out into your own apartment and so you get your butt into rehab. Or you don’t. 2) Your business plan is thrown back for a revision, giving you time to tweak it and get your own house in order before expanding. 3) The difficult writer explodes and (hopefully) quits in a huff, giving you the opportunity to make your show funnier. 4) You go back on your diet after determining your new life plan WILL work following a health scare and clean MRI. 5) After 28 years of marriage, your wife says “It is your mother or me! Choose!” So, you choose your wife and for the first time in your entire 52 years of LIFE, you are alone, not living with your mother, ~ all alone with your wife. Your mother moves out and is alone for the first time in her 85 years in a small apartment near your sister. 6) You packed up and left New York City after 25 years to move nearer to your childhood home, son and his wife in a small town. 7) Your lead actor quits via email leaving your cast and production in a lurch. 8) You receive a promotion and huge raise with the new job after being recruited by lawyers from your former employer. 9) You finish your thesis and present your oral arguments to the examiners. 10) You are waiting to see if you will be tapped by a secret society at Yale, which will affect your entire future.
Can you see how in each of these situations, people are facing major turning points in their lives as they wait or react to the Pluto station taking place in their lives? What is the situation taking place in your life where the structure of your life is changing before your very eyes? That is where PLUTO is. And right behind him, is Saturn say, revise, revisit, fix, redo. Go for it!
Monday. Moon in Capricorn focuses our attention on the future and the Pluto station. The Moon is over emotional and ruled by Pluto stopping in the sky. There can be virtually unbearable and highly emotional pressure today and Tuesday to make major shifts in your life. Don’t be afraid. Take yourself by your hand and give yourself permission to follow your dream even if you have trouble articulating it to others. Mercury might have given you difficult dreams last night about your inability to do it and how you are going to fail. Fear is part of the process. Think of all the other times you have been afraid. Think of how you tried and succeeded and of some times how you tried and you failed. At least you tried. Take action and try. Venus has a gift of brilliance to Saturn so the idea is simply brilliant and you need to make sure you do it! Put it in the plan!
Tuesday, Mercury and Pluto speak quietly together in the corner. Today all sorts of life changing ideas, decisions and announcements will be made. You will face a choice of security versus fate. Go for fate. Don’t settle for security. Go for the risk rather than the sure thing. You will be asked to choose as the Sun squares the Nodes of Destiny. The choice, which ever choice you make, is incredibly important to your future. Be brave. Hold your hand as you make your choice. Vesta stations in Leo so she asks you to describe your dream to her as she strokes your head and rubs your back. Snuggle up with Vesta. Curl up with your head nestled in her lap. Talk about your dreams to the keeper of the flame, of the heart light. Your chart has your dream in it ~ that is why you have it as a dream. It is in your chart! Right there! However, right now it might feel like your dream will never happen. That is okay. Just know your dream has a special place in your heart and leave the light on for it. Let Vesta blow on the embers and tend it for your while you return back to the world to work with Pluto and Saturn. Pluto stations today. Major choices. Major life events. It is time for your future. It is time. Mercury has a brilliant idea about how to structure your future and organize your work. Mercury is on the part of tragedy so you can get news that is not good.
Wednesday Saturn goes into Virgo, moving back towards 27 degrees and invoking October and the energy of last fall. There is quite a bit of emotional turbulence. The partnership energy of Libra wants to end. The have to do it alone energy of Virgo moves to the forefront. Remember, Saturn is in CHARGE of Pluto. So Pluto’s energy shifts too ~ from trying to work in some sort of partnership into wanting to be by himself and doing it alone. Moon in Aquarius gets cold and distant as it makes a list of all the tasks that need to be accomplished in a very short time. Let the Moon be cold. No initiating feeling conversations. Focus on what needs to be done and the tasks at hand. Mercury is depressed as it gets what it thought it wanted but at the same time it didn‘t want. Today can be a VERY depressed day. Today can also be a day when you get a new structure or situation in your life that totally changes everything in your world. Words or actions today are life altering ~ for good or bad. Energy is turbulent today so give yourself extra time for everything. People are not able to focus particularly well.
Thursday is a day of connections and relationships. As somber and sobering as the past few days were, today, we can spring into action. That list that Aquarius Moon made is put to use. Moon is productive and busy, ruled by Saturn in Virgo, crossing things off the list. Sun makes important connections and meetings that are great for your future. Watch who you meet today as they are part of your path. Mercury joins with Mars so words and decisions can be made quickly and with great assurance. Trust your instincts on this one. You are right. Venus has a gift of love, beauty and grace with Neptune so stand back as the Goddess of Love lets things fall into right alignment. Pluto knows there is a pattern change here as he watches but doesn’t quite get what is going on ~ forward to the future. Pluto is a bit stressed ~ while he does like to stir the pot with the triangles, he, like the rest of us, only wants someone to love him. He never got over getting eaten by his father so it creates SUCH a level of mistrust in his being. You almost (but not quite) feel sorry for him. Sun works well with Jupiter offering each other support for the path ahead ~ the light and the luck will work it all out just fine. Trust the process. Roll up your sleeves and get to work.
Friday finds Venus feeling a bit under the weather as her old fears surface. Hold her hand. Help her (and you) to understand at times the drama is part of the process. It is all about knowing and paying attention to what is going on. If it was an untenable situation or if the person wasn’t fully committed, you can’t fix that. Their ambivalence (or YOUR ambivalence) is how you knew it wasn’t quite right. No one sets out to be ambivalent. But think of how the energy falls behind you when you are NOT ambivalent. My Taurus friend received an email saying “You are like a bull charging forward, assuming the earth will rise up to meet you!” Aside from the poetic vision, that IS what happens when we charge forward to meet our fate! When we pull our energy together and allow our entire being to charge forward with complete faith and confidence, the earth DOES rise up to meet us and sustain us. So don’t be afraid to push for your dreams and charge towards them now that Saturn is in Virgo and Pluto is stationed and going backwards. If not now, when? If not you, who? Trust the process that if you live in the moment and do the most important thing, you are going to be right where you are supposed to be. Moon in Aquarius has closing aspects that support building or starting on the next dream.
Saturday’s Moon in Pisces has separating closing aspects so you will separate from something you love or begin today. Moon in Pisces works with the Capricorn and Taurus planets to make the day productive and profitable. This is a great day for sports injuries so be careful if you are playing touch football or being a weekend jock. Mars is in a health and war making argument with Pluto so make sure to live in the moment today rather than fighting about things you can’t change. There can be residual fighting energy left over from the difficult week that wants to get spent on partner or a fight over stupid things. Try to not take the Mars Pluto energy out on others that have nothing to do with the situation. Fights can erupt out of nowhere. Fights can erupt out of too much liquor or drugs too~ with Mercury’s over doing aspect to Neptune. Focus on the positive things you want to accomplish. Write down the dreams and dance to them rather than warring over them.
Sunday finds Moon in Pisces still working with a separating aspect. Venus wants to make nice with Uranus but finds she is thwarted a bit by Uranus being vague. People will not be clear today. Emotions will run a bit wild. Sun has a supportive energy with Vesta helping us to move forward to the dream that we curled up over on Tuesday. Remember the dream is in your chart if it is in your heart. Give yourself permission to day dream about your dreams today. Jupiter is able to suggest a number of GREAT ideas to consider adding to your list as he trines Pallas, the pattern maker and strategist. Give yourself time by water or with fluid to help nurture the dreams. Remember Saturn is in Virgo and wants to help you fix the situation that are preventing you from having your dream. You and Saturn can get a GREAT deal accomplished IF you only agree to do the work. Expect the earth to rise up to meet you as you charge forward. Follow your heart. Look for Vesta’s hearth light.
