I think you're actually a Leo Midheaven because of your sun singleton. That would give you a different chart altogether, a better mercury placing so that you'd know enough to find a site like this one, and do things like go to university. Good work on finding out about the pluto transit. I'll try to help you more later on.

I d.o think you're a coward though, you should try attacking people directly for just once in your life.

I am confused why she has a different midheaven.

She has some interesting things in her chart

She has a most prominent Pallas placement.
Sun in 16'49 Aquarius conjunct Pallas in 16'46 Pallas. Her Sun and Pallas are in fusion. Pallas is associated with creative intelligence, pattern recognition, and Strategy named after Pallas Athena, Goddess of Wisdom and Warfare.
Pallas seems like a minor Mercury.

Her Mercury in 26'11 Capricorn is trine Chiron in 27'45 Taurus.

but her Chiron is stationary direct (retrograde Chiron stationed to go direct)
Therefore, she is strong in Chiron.

Her Mercury trine Chiron is actually much stronger.

Mercury is her Oriental planet for it was the last planet to rise before the Sun.
Mercury is her guiding planet, and so it figures prominently in her life.

"Mercury Guiding Planet

Mercury Skill Symbol people are skillful thinkers and talkers. As Guiding Planet, Mercury bestows a keen and intuitive sense of connections and associations, of seeing how things fit together.

A true mental type, you have a special knack for thinking and talking your way through challenges and problems. In meeting everyday experiences, your mind is your best guide. You do best when you thoroughly think things out beforehand, though you may have a tendency to think and talk too quickly, dismissing as irrelevant much of what people try to tell you or skipping over much of the information and experience which comes your way. Relying so much on thinking and talking, you may too easily fall into the "all talk and no action" syndrome.
If your Skill Symbol is Mercury, you work best under conditions of your own devise, though you are no doubt a quick study at mastering new systems and technology. Efficiency, reliability, self-mastery, and the ability to think and communicate clearly are your strong points. On the other hand, gossiping and a tendency to be led astray by others could prove damaging. You excel at mental work of all types, especially work that relies heavily on written or spoken communications, computers, technology and telephones. Having Mercury as your Skill Symbol doesn't mean you're smarter than anybody else, or even that you are a profound thinker. You might simply have a skill for processing data and information and using telephones and electronics.
As Guiding Planet, Mercury suggests inner guidance in the form of an intuitive sense of the connections and associations existing between people and things. As Guiding Planet, Mercury acts in a more electric, instinctual and intuitive sense than it does in its aspect as Skill Planet. Yet, true to the dual nature of Mercury, the highly active mental and analytical activities of Mercury may get in the way when it comes to tuning into the more abstract, guiding qualities of the planet. Surface noise and distractions may first need quieting with the help of relaxation, contemplation and meditation." http://www.khaldea.com/planets/oriental_mercury.shtml

not only that because Mercury is direct and ahead of her Sun, it's Promethean Direct

Effective promoter and communicator of new ideas, facilitator of change.

The second face of Mercury begins when its zodiacal motion is stationary turning direct, it ends forty to fifty days later. A few days after Mercury turns direct, it reaches its furthest distance from the Sun, about twenty-eight degrees. Known as Mercury’s greatest western elongation, it corresponds with the waxing square aspect or the first-quarter lunation type. Mercury’s greatest elongation symbolizes intensified, projective mental activity seeking external expression. About ten days after turning direct, intuition and future-inspired living quickens as Mercury’s speed of motion outpaces the Sun’s. Mercury is quickest around the superior conjunction which concludes this phase, when the mind is most eager, tending to run ahead of itself.
A Promethean-Direct Mercury suggest a mind generally more at peace with itself and its environment than the Promethean-Retrograde. Individuals of this type are likely to be driven by external, social and "real world" issues. Inner drives and issues, and personal experiences, are more likely to be the mental forces behind individuals born during Promethean-Retrograde. Both types indicate eager, energetic, intuitive, compelling and future-oriented mental temperaments, but while exemplary Promethean-Retrograde types tend to be visionaries dedicated to creating, formulating and dramatizing new ideas and new ways of life, Promethean-Direct types are generally more able to effectively project their visions, reforms and agendas — often first inspired and articulated by Promethean-Retrograde types — upon the social and intellectual world, making things happen on a large-scale. It is no surprise this projective and effective Mercury type is seen in the birth charts of many successful politicians.

If your were born during Mercury’s Promethean-Direct phase, you possess an intuitive mind coupled with effective faculties of communication, enabling you to both convince others of the validity of your ideas and to inspire them with your future-oriented, farseeing vision. If you were born near Mercury’s maximum elongation, you may be so mentally intense and certain that some might find you overwhelming, while others may find you mentally stimulating and inspiring.
Mind is neutral, which explains why astrological tradition assigns asexual attributes to Mercury. As a Promethean-Direct type, you need to focus on values (symbolized by Venus), because without a clear set of guiding values and ideals, a powerful Promethean-Direct mind can be a ruthless force. Cultivate mental watchfulness because your thoughts, ideas and visions may become concrete realities. http://www.khaldea.com/planets/merc_pd.html

Therefore, her Mercury is actually well placed in her chart regardless of what house it is in.

Her East Point (aka Equatorial Ascendant) which is an auxilliary Ascendant is in 23'45 Capricorn, and so her Mercury conjuncts her East Point. That's a strong Mercurial theme, but not as strong as Mercury conjunct Ascendant.

Both the East Point and Antivertex can be interpreted as auxiliary Ascendants. That is, they function as additional keys to one’s basic identity, action, energy, drive and self-expression.

They do not seem to be AS important as the actual Ascendant, but do offer useful clues to major themes in the nature of the individual. Either angle requires more attention when a planet falls closely conjunct it. This is almost as significant as having that planet conjunct the Ascendant. The planet(s) involved denote major, keynote principles of that individual’s sense of self, identity, assertion and being in the world. http://www.ccrsdodona.org/m_dilemma/1983/vir/epav.html

also her Mercury makes the following aspects in declinations
parallel Venus - '16
parallel Uranus - '29
parallel Neptune - '28

so her Mercury is in a planetary synchronization with Venus,Uranus,Neptune. That's equivalent to a Mercury-Venus-Uranus-Neptune conjunction. It suggests a rightbrained oriented, aesthetic, imaginative, receptive, visualizing type of mind.

Her Mercury also aspects the nodes of certain objects

conjunct Geocentric South Saturn Node in 25'33 Capricorn, and so the mind is connected to collective structure, discipline, boundaries. There is the ability to be a practical, logical thinker. There could be issues of not feeling smart. That aspect is 37 minutes of arc, and that's a significant theme.

square Geocentric South Chiron in 26'15 Aries, and so the mind is connected to collective wounds, healing, teaching. There is the ability to be a teacher and healer in comunications. A holistic type of mind. That aspect is only 4 minutes, and that's a significant theme.

also

looking at her the chart Cosmobiological way (Cosobiology doesn't use houses...it uses midpoints extensively)

conjunct Moon/Saturn midpoint with 32 minutes of arc, and so thought processes are connected to the integration of feelings and structure. It can be good for having good practical, common sense type of thinking.

conjunct Sun/Ascendant midpoint with 49 minutes of arc, and so thought processes are connected to the integration of ego and persona. cosmobiologist might say physical body and environment. It's a strong placement for Mercury.

conjunct Sun/Jupiter midpoint with 56 minutes of arc, and so thought processes are connected to the integration of ego and expansion. cosmobiologist might say physical body and expansion. it can be good for expansive, philosophical optimistic thinking.

Tr Pluto was only 1 degree off my Venus, when it stationed to turn away. But that means it will only be squaring my MC.

Tr SN is on my Saturn.

Tr Eros is exact on my SN; Tr Karma is conjunct my Venus - past life stuff?

Tr Neptune and Chiron are on my true BML on 28 Aquarius.

@Glaucus. The insight you provided is so cool. That level of detail makes my head spin a bit but i get it. funny thing about all of the mercury info is that my name on here is electricmind. go figure... i noticed my super tight pallas/sun conjunct awhile back, but i couldn't find too much information on Pallas. I am very, very heady. I consume ridiculous amounts of information on a daily/weekly basis. I drive my family crazy. they always say "oh my god, you know everything!" (sarcastically)

also, about mercury being my guiding planet... i think that i have a keen intuition but I never think of it as psychic or anything like that because the things i am able to gather seem so logical and obvious to me. perhaps it has to do with my sun/pallas conjunction...

@DD
are you an athlete? athletic?
that mars in the 12th house so close to your sagittarius ascendant. although perhaps your are artistic...no i'm thinking more of a writer...your imagination must be wild!

i would definitely expect some career/job changes for you...if they haven't already started.

trans pluto
is conjunct my progressed sun & mars.
it will be sextiling my scorpio jupe(5 deg) which's natally unaspected so i don really knw how that'll manifest.

i remember in my SR chart, pluto(conj desc) squared mars(4H). they fell along my natal mc & dsc resp. i met with 3 accidents in 2 months!
1st one: foot almost saved from amputation.

2nd one: same foot but this time only stitches.

3rd one: was supposed to be going for this concert but later dropped the idea due to various reasons. an explosion took place on the same day, same time, same place.

when
pluto conj my mars & squared moon(ruler of 6H & is in the 8).
SR moon in natal 6H,conjunct SR 4H & apex of a yod in the SR chart.
natal moon in SR 6H sq SR venus/pluto.
SR merc(ruler of moon)conj natal pluto in SR 8H.

i got anorexia followed by hypothyroidism,anaemia,L.B.P,was @ the verge of depression & my heart was shrinking in size. fully recovered after a year & a half.

Electricmind,

"are you an athlete? athletic?"
Not at all! Actually I am heavily overweight.

"no i'm thinking more of a writer...your imagination must be wild! "
Yes, that`s true. My imagination IS running wild. I guess the Neptune conjunction plus chartruler Jupiter in Pisces in 3rd house squaring Neptune overemphasizes my imagination.

Actually I have written some stories some years ago (several years before that I was writing one poem after the other); I even have written a little play for the local church (well, I only re-wrote it of course; the original was the EXODUS in the bible, and I gave it a form of a theatre play). Well, my friend informed me that I am to do another play for the church for next christmas. And I do feel the urge to write rise up again.

"i would definitely expect some career/job changes for you...if they haven't already started."
Well, not sure I would like that. I am a teacher and I want to stay where I am.
BUT on the other hand I am definitely moving this summer, so Tr Uranus on my IC and Tr Pluto squaring my IC might have a say in this,t oo.

I'll try to attach at transit chart, later on.

It's squaring my Jupiter in the 5th, and Pluto in the 11th - not exact, but close enough.

Other than having a huge dose of PMS, I can relate this to the way I've been feeling lately, about something that I won't mention here (it could be controversial) - something I've already ranted about to someone, but continues to annoy me, because I don't see it ever ending. I find it depressing.

@teasal well i'll tell you...i'm a good year+ into my pluto transit. its started off with a conjunction to neptune (0 Capricorn) in my 12th house. and on the one hand it feels like my whole life has been one big pluto transit and technically it has been. (t will have been conjunct every planet in my chart during my lifetime with the exception of my moon)

but, i say all that to say that it is ok. its dark on the inside but its mysterious and fun all at once. know that you are closer to your highest self and its all for your GOOD! keep your head up

Pluto has been squaring my Sun and conjunct my Neptune. My ideals and dreams are becoming more in tune with reality, and I've realized many things, as if I'm finally entering into the adult world lol. But on the other hand, I'm starting to feel that there are things that I don't know well about myself. I'm also getting more clear about the things I don't like about myself. But well, let the lessons come. X3 A good clean up and review about myself would be good.

My IC is actually at 4 of Capricorn, and my Moon is a 10 Capricorn... so the next few years will be very Plutonian for me.

I was anticipating this transit, and frightened of it because I thought it might very likely augur a death in the family -- perhaps my mother or grandmother.

Interestingly, earlier in 2009, I forgot about this transit, and I decided I wanted to a) leave the Bay Area at the end of the year [if I didn't leave then, for various reasons, I knew I would be "stuck" for years and SF wasn't for me anymore] b) go home to Aus and spend time with my family, regroup, spend time with my grandparents whose passing I am forever anxious about. Then I was planning to return to the US in the latter part of the year.

Then, in about September, I looked at mt transits and nearly fell out of my chair, realizing that I'd made this decision and time it all to happen exactly when Pluto was applying to my IC!

Some unexpected things that have happened is that someone I dated last year has asked me to move in with him, out of the blue! I honestly don't know if anything will come of it. I am pessimistic. He's a very Plutonian type -- he has a Pluto singleton which also sits right on my ASC in synastry. But, his proposition is very "Pluto on the IC" and completely unexpected.

Here is my chart:
