Has anyone noticed cappie placements and getting to work super duper early? for fear maybe of being late? i have noticed it. also, even cappies working while on break, or downtime. IP: Logged |

im a Cap and that doesnt sound like me at all. i leave at the last minute and don't care if im a little late. my Cap sun/asc sister is the same way.IP: Logged |

I'm a Cap Ascendant and I usually arrive to work 10-15 minutes early, but that's only because my employers have a system in place that penalizes people for being even 5 minutes late.  When I worked at a restaurant, I was more relaxed about time. And yeah, sometimes I end up doing work on my break because no one else will lift a finger to do it themselves. IP: Logged |

I'm a Cap rissing and I show up early and even stay late if I think it necessary.I find I become vary involved with my work that I feel that I must and is part of my responsiblity. Also, theres an expectation of you and you should live up to at expectation . whether it be work, School, A Relationship - lol. I'd assume a tradional capircorn whould be or anyone with a strong capirorn influence whould be. I've seen some Caps with sagittarius influnce in them that make you wonder if there even a capircorn at all. -------------------------------------------

Capricorn Moon, no, I don't get to work extra early.
I arrive when I'm supposed and leave at a reasonable time but while I'm there I work harder than anyone else, so says almost everyone at one time or another. The difference is I leave the BS @ work and draw a firm line. If I didn't I'd be like I used to, which was spending all my time there plus not being able to not think about work once I got home = very depressing state.
A firm line is better for my sanity. When I'm on break, I'm on break. And don't bug me about my job cos I won't be manipulated into doing something you want or answering any work q's you have. The ones who work while they're on 'break' bug me, as well as the ones who act like they're on break while they 'work' ~IP: Logged |

I only work when I'm suppose to because even if they do say 'I'm their best Aide' or 'they would die if they lost me' or whatever, I'm still taken for granted. You will not see my name signed down for extra shifts unless I need the money....for the sake of my sanity. IP: Logged |

Oh I get flack at work sometiemes for my attitude reg. breaks because almost everyone there feels the need to be 'on' all the time but it's a 2 way street, if someone's on break I make sure not to bother, i'll wait or go try someone else, and if I end up doing that because they're trying to be polite I always feel sooo embarrassed. But other people, man, it's like if you're on the premises they will use you and abuse you, just like you said Benedict  IP: Logged |

I've spent 25 years around a Cap (with no sag, btw) and he is everything UN Cap that you can imagine.He has no amibition, no career goals.
He is always late, or calls off alot.
While at work, he is the biggest slacker there, and has been fired for this more than once, probably more than 5 times to be honest!! I've read Cap stuff over the years, and seriously thought that his birth certificate is wrong!!! IP: Logged |

What an interesting thread to come upon as i am going to be late for work waiting for my ride! I don't like being late and it makes me insane!! I work in sales and marketing so its kind of hard to turn off work when i get home, so i'm constantly on. I work late most nights and try to get in 30 mins early because once 8 a.m. Comes, it's time to work. I use that extra 30 to pull myself together and get ready for my 10 hrs.

Cap moon here, I'm not a morning person at all so getting to work earlier than I have to is just not part of program besides, I work out before I go to work so any extra time goes towards that.While at work I'm strictly business especially with my staff, I'm fair but firm my attitude is get the work done FIRST and everything else second, third etc... I almost always work thru lunch and always give 110% effort to any work related task or project, and I expect the same from those that I work with. I strongly believe in leading by example.

Class is the one place I hate being late to. It's just embarrasing to walk in and have everyone staring at you because of tardiness.
Oh yeah, and at work I always stay atleast half an hour after I'm scheduled to be done. Don't ask.
