This is interesting. I just found out about it. I knew I had progressed Venus (Progressed 8th) moving into orb to conjunct my natal sun in the 10th.

However, I didn't know I had Progressed sun in progressed 10th (in natal 11th) moving into orb to square my natal Venus (in natal 8th).

Surely this is significant. The houses are even the same. I hope I am making sense.

I know what they say about progressed venus conjunct natal sun, but what happens when progressed Sun squares natal venus? What happens when they happen at the same time?

They will both be exact at the same time.

Diana,
I have "Delineation of Progressions" by Sophia Mason, and I looked it up for you.

Progressed Sun square/semi-square Venus:

This is likely to occur later in life where one may withdraw from social affairs and contacts with others. If married, possible separation, loss, grief or death through the partner. If one is seeking a second (or third) marriage, the native may find much dissatisfaction with the present suitor. Should Venus be in Leo, in the fifth house, or ruler of the fifth, a daughter may run away and get married or become pregnant while still single. The native's son may select a wife of low moral standards (if in Pisces, may be a heavy drinker or a drug abuser.)

Sometimes one's sense of values are temporarily misplaced, where one may give his or her love for all with considering future consequences.

Thanks, Vig

So....it basically negates my good p.venus conjunct sun then? Figures!

None of those scenarios fit, since I am neither married nor do I have a child. I find the last sentence of your post intriguing -- that could happen.

Hmmmm....

They said to me before here on L.L square in progressed chart are much positive and it's need a hard aspect to trigg positive events like new mirriage and so on.

I agree with Popcorn...

Diana...

Anyway, I have a lot of hard aspects coming up as well (and have been doing a large amount of research) and having people telling me, "oh, you are going to have a separation or divorce." and all I can do is laugh b/c I'm not married and haven't been in a committed relationship since 2003. Nevertheless, I completely think it depends on the person. I have studied some charts where people had positive prog. happening and they ended up getting a divorce and a have a cousin that had about 4 really hard/ugly aspects that ended up getting married. (but I don't even know if that's what you are interested in when you prompted this question)

What houses does your Natal Venus and Sun rule and what houses are they naturally located in? Right there should tell you the flavor of the situation. Also, where is your Progressed Moon... it it about to make any aspects?

Also, did you look at Converse and Solar Arc to see if there is a bigger picture forming?

Diana,

I was going to ask the same questions. GV always says that its square aspects that count, for solar arcs that is..

Popcorn -- maybe -- we'll see!

I think it's sometimes hard to predict what will happen with progressed aspects. A lot of times something with venus does signify love issues, but sometimes it signifies money issues too. The square is dynamic -- not as dynamic as the conjunction, but it carries weight.

I feel since it's a DW it must be significant. Progressed moon will oppose my natal venus in the next year or so, too.

As for the houses natal venus and sun rule:

Sun = 5th

Venus = 1st and 6th.

Where they are in natal:

Sun = 10th

Venus = 8th.

So....love, job, money, status, career, other people's money, sex, intimacy, death, transfomation, reputation, appearance, health..... these are all the possible manifestations. There seems to be an accent on the 10th and 8th. My natal sun in the 10th; progressed venus in 10th; natal venus in 8th; progressed sun in 11th.

My progressed moon is currently about to enter my 2nd house.

I didn't look at converse. I did them once before, a long time ago, but I don't remember how to do them. Can you remind me?

SA's -- Off the top of my head, my SA venus will conjunct my MC. There's that 10th house theme again. 10th can be career, image, or marriage.

SA moon is on my MC now.

SA jupiter is currently on my sun/moon MP. SA mars is a degree away from it.

SA uranus in my 7th is currently square my NN in 10th by minutes.

I have a lot going on in all my charts and will for awhile.

I'd love to, but I also like to be prepared.
