I guess that is where I inherited my natal Venus-Pluto-square.

Hmm, he isn`t very much about power. Even though I remember that he was several times offered a political/ diplomatic position as well as a position / membership in a group like the "Round Table" - he declined all these offers in terms to be able to spend more time with the family.

BTW personally I think he is a very calm and mature person (he has ASC in Virgo with Saturn exactly conjunct, and ASC-ruler in Capricorn in 4th house). Even though my mum usually sees his childish side (which drives her crazy), but of course she also sees his responsibility and calmness, which was a very important factor to her (she has Cappy-DESC, so someone with saturn on ASC and ASC-ruler in cappy is pretty well suited to her).

Well, I think it might be the Scorpio-Aqua mix to be honest. My Dad`s Aqua Sun squares my Mum`s Scorpio-Sun. Her Saturn conjunct his SN.
His Moon also opposes her Sun, but I guess that might even be an attraction factor, especially since his Moon is in 8th house (Scorpio-houses) and therefore kinda fits my mum`s Scorpio Sun.

In some ways we are very different, and it is true, through me she has come into contact with her Uranian side, which before she had rejected for herself.

Well, I somehow can`t relate to that composite aspect, as we are both rather stable people. Anyway, many people from the outside comment on how unusual our friendship is, as everyone would have thought we cannot get along,a s we are so different. But that is just on the outside. Inside we are more similiar than most people think.

That is actually almost literally what I have been wondering after the beginning of our friendship. actually I have been always kind of elusive, almost running away and downplaying the importance of that friendship for quite some time. But somewhen during all of what we have been going through together, I noticed that this friendship might be a constant important part of my life. For my friend it has always been clear, that we will ALWAYS be friends, which I didn`t think at first. But it turns out that we probably will be in each others life for a lifetime.
We are important supportive and driving factors for each other`s life, even though our lives are very different.

Not in an obvious way. But we have more energy together than alone. The workload we managed to accomplish when we were studying was unbelievable! I always thought I was having only little energy (Mars-Neptune), but she really propelled me to exceed myself (her Mars-Pluto is obsessive when it comes to working).

Also with her Moon in Aries and my Fire Sun in 1st house I think we need some enthusiasm in the composite.

First it exaggerated them, and then it healed them.

Also on the confusion. Yes, at first I felt like I had to hide certain parts of myself or downplay them as they seemed too "otherworldly" or "childish / dreamy", but it turned out that she knew myself better than I did all along. And in some way she admires my ability to be a bit on the dreamy side. Something that is very much unlike her.
I remember, once I approached a completely unfamiliar musicalactor and suggested I would do a horoscope for him; and I was a little bit shocked after I did it, that I had done it, just from that spontaneious mood, and I told my friend and said: "I must be out of my mind. Who would do something like that?"
And she answerd: "You would. That is exactly what you would do. That is so YOU. And it`s amazing that way."

I guess that is illustrated by the fact that we are still writing at least 2-3 emails per week - each of us! And these emails usually have the length of a normal letter. Very much communication there.

yes, there are times when I am getting a bit tired, or not so much tired, but I feel like too much lies on my shoulders. As if I am too important, if that makes sense?

Yes, I do see my shadow very clearly here. All my defensive actions, which helps me changing behavioural pattern that is not positive. I am not running, but I need a bit more space.
Actually when I met her, I told her that I still need to have some free time during the days, as I just can`t spend ALL the time with one person.
Luckily she agreed with that (she has Sun in Aquarius exact conjunct my Moon).
Even though I think she didnīt need that much space as I did (she has Moon and ASC in Cancer).
I don`t know why it is, but even though having only a few close friends, those friendships I have seem to become VERY close in a short time. Sometimes that makes me feel suffocated. Sometimes I just need time on my own, no matter how much I like a person. Especially the physical presence of people can exhaust me at times. It is probably, because my Neptune on the ASC is sucking in the other`s energy like a sponge. On the other hand sometimes another person`s energy can also energize me in strong ways.
